Fidelity fails miserably in providing timely and useful costumer service. On several occassions they have dropped the ball and failed to complete action on their part. I am seriously looking at moving all my investments and retirement accounts to another firm.

Can login but cant log out. Have to close page but this doesnt make me feel comfortable that my information isnt still active. Have been informed that they are having Technical problems. They need to remedy this as they sure make enough dollars off my trades. In the past I have rated Fidelity tops and would recommend them to others. In the past year the service has certainly fallen apart. Will not give my recommendation at this time.

This company is incompetent, and 2 experiences 15 years apart confirm that. I lost a lot of money during the crash of 2008 due to Fidelity Investments' lack of due diligence and lack customer service. Subsequently, I moved all my funds elsewhere. In 2023 I left a company and decided to move my retirement funds. At the time they were not with Fidelity. However, during my process of choosing a new investment company, the company moved their retirement program to Fidelity. When I processed my paperwork with Fidelity, they were given specific instructions, verbally and in writing, where to send the check. I even paid an extra $25 processing fee so it could be tracked. Fidelity in their incompetence mailed the check to ME! When I called Fidelity, the representative offered no assistance or a refund. She smugly suggested that I contact the new company where I'm moving my money. Now I have to get this check to the correct address, which is additional cost, time and inconvenience. I will never deal with Fidelity, and I caution everyone else to avoid Fidelity. NOTE: I had to give Fidelity a 1-star rating, because this review system would not allow me to give them anything lower.

Terrible. So called personL representatives represent their own interests, not the client's. Our rep forgets what he promised to do, what we asked him to do & when to do it. Then he claims he has "no such notes in his record." He writes nothing down I DO!They have so screwed up my retirement that I've paid thousands in taxes I shouldn't have. I've received a snide letter about our accountant who is trying to help us. How DARE you, ***** (our so-called rep). They kept at me for my historical records. I sent them, they lost them. Please also know that SOME OF THE MUTIAL FUNDS WERE FIDELITY FUNDS FOR WHIVH THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THE HISTORY BUT DIDN'T. Really?I have a brokerage account (self-managed) that year after year beats the glean of the exact same amount of money I turned over to Fidelity. Fidelity reps want to grab that money, too. Fat chance! They want my money market money to invest, too. Fat chance. They stopped sending me checks for my money market (my fun money) & changed me to a cash management account. I NEVER asked for this 2nd type of account. Oh, but don't I want the new debit card or auto-bill pay or any loans yada yada with the cash management acct? NO & STOP SENDING ME ADS related to this account. STOP!I am blipping mad about a whole bunch of things related to Fidelity. I am an informed investor. My multiple millions will soon be gone from Fidelity.Don't trust them or your so-called representative. If you never started with them--don't. If you think you're stuck with them, you're not. Move your money. Bad company. Bad, and getting worse.

I called Fidelity to ask about margin borrowing rates. I was told that the base rate is tied to Fed funds, but when I asked about the spread, I was told that information is "proprietary". This has to be the most ridiculous response I've ever heard! I have worked for or had direct involvement with big banks such as **** of America, *****************, ******* *****, etc., and never have I received such an absurd response when asking about margin rates. The entire experience has made me consider moving my assets elsewhere.

Called to try to close my account with them because I work part time and theyre taking too much money out my pay.I was told I would have to quit working at my job in order for them to close my account.**** was very rude and also told me I wasnt allowed to withdraw my money which theyre not matching that I would have to retire and be of retirement age thats the only other option and when my job tells them Im retired or quit thats the only way and then they dont no when my money will be available after that.

Good reason not to accredit. No consistency, lies, broken promises, looong holds, misinformation or missing info. Very disappointed in customer (dis)service. Need to get all in writing for credibility.

Absolutely terrible. Checks get returned for insufficient funds when the funds are actually there. They hold funds or only let you have access to half of what you deposited. I thought fidelity was a good bank but after reading these reviews, it's clear they're one of the worst. Stay away and bank somewhere else

Recently I could log thru mobile app. I could thru the web. not a password typo issue. Twice I deleted and reloaded the app as directed by Fidelity rep. **** day the same issue. The app has two version, old version is called Classic. Its simple, straight forward and gives all the info fast. the new one I do not care for. too slow. doesnt have all the info of Classic. Just flashy colors, geared more towards options trade and perhaps financial advising. I suppose the goal is to cease Classic and force the new but obsolete version. Sounds like the brilliant move Coke made with Classic Coke. I like the service and have had no issue with customer reps who are knowledgeable and helpful. I have self managed my accounts w Fidelity for over 40 years. Are they forcing me out? But, for trading I must have the app work fast and flawlessly. The main reason for two stars.
