Horrible! You don't have access to your own money for a month! Don't sign up with this fraud of a company they will hold on to your money and say it's for security purposes. When really they're earning interest off of it. Go with a different financial institution. I wouldn't trust this one at all. Never again!

Fidelity has recently enacted a hold period of 15 business days , up to 24 days after depositing money in a cash management account without any warning. These are accounts are mostly used as a checking account for many customers and not having access to this money has created great financial burden.I had added e-bills for payments due way before my money will clear and I now have to borrow money to pay my bills having plenty of it locked up by Fidelity. This practice is deceiving and should be clearly stated before people decide to fund their accounts. Had I known ahead of time that this was the case I would have not transfer money knowing that I had to access it way before it was going to clear on my account. There are many ways in which Fidelity can corroborate if a deposit is legitimate or not, email, text, phone call, etc rather than holding funds hostage for such an absurd amount of time. Looking forward to closing all of my accounts with this *************************** issue should be addressed by all communication mediums and make current and new customers aware of it. There is no reason why anyone will agree to such policy specially if it is concealed in a deceiving way.

They are not very knowledgeable in their investment options and very generic in information. Very time consuming and they need to run like 10 miles before they go to work bc they dont do enough and its starting to bleed. Telling your customers to withdrawal their ********************** is not sound advice while theyre building theirs vicariously through others. This is what happens when you hire spoiled brats.

My parents set up an investment account for me, under my name, as a child. As an adult, my parents gave me the account EXCEPT ********************** doesn't want to give me access to it even though it is under MY name. I was told I have to open my own Fidelity account and have my mom call Fidelity to transfer the funds to it. Fine, that already sounds ridiculous but I'll do it. Except I can't set up a new account online under my name because the 1st account is already set up using my information, so I have to do it by paper form and MAIL my application for a new Fidelity account (that I don't want to begin with) in.They make you jump through so many hoops to access your own money. I can't wait until my account is finally set up and I can withdraw every last ***** and never deal with Fidelity again! Their customer service is also garbage. Just unhelpful ********* should be illegal to make it so difficult to access your own money. They clearly want to keep the account with them and hope you just give up after dealing with so many of their abstract rules and requirements.

We opened Youth accounts for 2 of ours boys, they are connected to my retirement account. My son deposited a $34 check in his account on November 15th. Still hasnt posted, so got a hold of customer service who told us it wouldnt clear until DECEMBER 10th. They blame widespread fraud. Ok. So hold it for a week. No institution in ******* takes 25 days to clear a check. Once it clears, well be closing our Fidelity accounts. Something is not right.

I tried to set up a youth account for my son, and it was the worst experience of my fifty-year investing experience. The customer service couldn't be worse unless the design is to torture their customers, then I would rate them highly as torturers! Imagine having a service app that only lets you speak to a human if you can enter a sixteen-digit computer password with special characters, lower and upper case letters, etc...on your phone keypad! Ok, maybe if you're fourteen years old, that's a no brainer-but to my head, it sounds like a company that is going out of its way not to talk to you or me. If any of the upper-level executives at Fidelity ever had to use the services they've provided for their customers, they would go out of their minds,
