    I waited for months for my equipment all while being charged over $300/month for service charges of equipment I had not even received. Now that I have received it, I can't even login. Everytime I email my sales rep, I end up having to email their boss to get any kind of response. Super unfriendly for small business. I have two locations and no time to deal with this nonsense. Wish I would have never changed POS systems.

    This company is awful. **************** offers little to no support for customers, and they customer support specialists are extremely rude during the entire interaction with them. Deceptive practices that steal from customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY

    I own a restaurant we use Toast. I am a very patient person and every time I get on the phone with Toast I become so frustrated. I am transferred to person after person, explaining whatever issue I might be having again and again. I attempted to cancel *********, a service they offer for about $300 a month, and received a response two weeks later saying they would cancel it. It then took two months to actually cancel it and I had to threaten to report them before they did anything. It seems to me that they have expanded too quickly and are unable to assist the customers they take on. I understand the desire to expand, but hiring employees who can assist with and work the expansion is the only way to successfully do so. Every single other general manager and owner who works with toast that I have spoken to has experienced a similar issue with their complete lack of customer service. As people who work in customer service, we are pretty understanding and forgiving - but my god... if this is not criminal.

    While the software and equipment is great and easy to use, I have run into frequent issues with connectivity and bugs. Also, I would NOT consider this to be an ethical company. They promise great customer service during onboarding, but when you sign a contract with them, their customer support drops off the face of the Earth. They also charged me for some monthly fees that I did not sign up for (Marketing and Rewards), and when I asked for a refund, they refused. So, essentially they direct deposited charges that I did not agree to and won't give it back - which is stealing. Very frustrating.

    This company is junk. If the owners/management are reading this review, better contact me if you have any self respect. We have been trying to get our money back since the last 8 months and each time the supervisors get on the phone and tell us the same BS stories. They promise to call back and give an update but no avail. What a horrible business practices they have. If I could give negative stars i would. I have a list of email addresses of all the supervisors i have talk to in the last 8 months. Shutdown the company if you don't know how to run a business.

    I have been in the restaurant industry for 45 years and in a managerial position for over 30 years. Toast has become my #1 worst purchase ever. I have been having on going problems with my POS system. I have asked on many many many occasions to speak to upper management to expedite the problem. This you would think would be an easy request, however their lower staff is under orders not to share any of that information. I have tried to contact on many different angles with no response. If you are shopping for a new POS system STAY AWAY FROM TOAST.

    terrible in every way. now they have implemented a .99 processing fee that they keep even those the businesses that use there equipment pay those processing fees

    They stole $4500 from me. Took my deposit for equipment. They Delivered half of the equipment. After waiting for 1 year for the rest of the equipment to cancel I finally cancelled. They made me pay $200 to have fed ex to s*** the equipment back to them in ******. They confirmed they received my equipment. They promised they would refund me my money back then after 12 weeks of escalating it to supervisors they said grease was not eh equipment and kept my entire $4500 full purchase of the equipment. They stole the money and the equipment. They get away with it because they force their customers to use ach for equipment purchases knowing banks have only a 24 hour rule on disputes with ach. With credit cards its 1 year. NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR ACH INFO!

    Horrible customer service and deceptive business practices . When you order food online using Toast , they dont tell you if you dont receive your order, they cant help you you fight with the restuatant .Nothing wrong with atlease mention it in atleast small letters . I orderd food on July 14 ;they charged my card , went to pickup , Resyauarnt was closedc. Try to contact Toast , nothing good happened waited for the next day , called restauarant , they said they can issue a credit cant give me the food order I placed , for that I have to pay again . I agreed , paid again got my food , asked him about the credit , they said it is being processed by toast . Next day checked the account , instead of credit I am seeing another debit for the same amount .HORRIBLE BORDERLINE CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR
