      They booked a high price room I paid for 2 bedrooms. Gave me a 1 bedroom and only offered %10 return in credit on their app. Basically stealing $1000 in value. I just wanted the difference back from the 1 bedroom and the 2. But they refused and ignored me after I threatened to file a complaint. Do not book with hopper

      I attempted to book a rental car with Hopper and canceled my booking. I was assured by the online representatives that they were sorry and would issue a refund. I was checking my credit card statement and realized they never issued the refund. All the links in the iOS mobile app and the web site don't work and the phone numbers don't ether. I am a web and mobile app developer and know how these work and then aren't working. Right now I am out $106.39 and my credit card company won't let me dispute the changes because it is over a year old from Feb. 10, 2022. This feels like a scam to me especially when all the support and help links and phone numbers don't work. I am very unhappy with Hopper and would not recommend them to anyone!Don't tell me to reach out to Hopper Support because there is no way to do so!**************

      The $106.39 charge on my credit card still remains and they have done nothing to refund the money from a service that I have never received. Hopper responded to my review by providing a link to their "Contact Support Form." I submitted my problem and only received an automated response and a promise to get back in a few hours. Tomorrow will be 7 days and there has been no other communication or contact. Just read the other reviews. THIS IS A RIPOFF!Here is the exact wording that means absolutely nothing at this point. I have no reason to think they will ever get back to me. "Thanks for contacting Hopper's support team. We wanted to confirm that we've received your request. We aim to get back to you within a few hours, but some requests may take longer, depending on the circumstance."

      Here is an update since my last posting. Hopper did respond to me 8 times but basically with the same information. They can not find my transaction information in their system even though I supplied them with my credit card statements and even a verification by ***** that I had a $106.39 charge by Hopper with their phone number on it. In order to charge someone's credit card a vendor must have a name, card info and postal address. I provided all this information but they said they can't find any record in their system. I had deleted their app on my phone and did not receive any confirmation emails or text messages. So I am out of luck! I had not bothered to check my credit card statements because I believed the Hopper representatives that had told me I would get a full refund. THIS IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING! BUYERS BEWARE!!

      Here is my humbled update: It turned out that the transaction was made by my wife and for a hotel (and appeared on our credit card) and I got it confused with a rental car transaction via Hopper last year that I canceled! THIS WAS MY MISTAKE AND NOT HOPPER's. I TOTALLY APOLOGIZE!The Hopper representatives were diligent in communicating with me and found that the exact charge but under my wife's name and the This was my mistake. It was done by my wife but appeared on our credit card. I had also tried making a car reservation last year and got the credit card confused with the car rental transaction. I sincerely apologize because it was my mistake. I appreciate Hopper's due diligence in following up on this and locating my wife's transaction. I wish I could delete my comments above but hopefully this will catch some people's eyes.

      They kept my money after the hotel refunded them. Then refuse to refund my money. They have jerked me around for over a month. I would never recommend this app to anyone.

      I used Hopper a couple times without issues, until I did. And it was the worst experience. They tried to state that the hotel was non-refundable when I have video proof showing it does not state it anywhere on the app that it is and the hotel themselves stated that we were successfully checked out and to let Hopper. Hopper trailed me on and on about looking into it. They said theyd give me a 10% discount for the first night (which we stayed) but the second night we didnt was unable to be refunded. In what world is this okay. I then provided photos and video evidence to which it was stated that my case was escalated. After being dragged along with more excuses. I was told again that Id be given the 10% discount. I reported it to my card and they luckily assisted me immediately. This company should be investigated immediately.

      I think they are a scam. I paid for the price freeze and attempted to try to book the room and received an error message saying, Error We were not able to exercise your freeze, please try again later. If the persists, please contact support.Of course you can only wait on support to send you an email which you have to reply to and wait for someone to get back to you. Of course with all this wait and me still trying to book the room before the price freeze, Im unable to speak with anyone to resolve my issue. Finally I receive this email, We apologize for the inconvenience, we have to follow the terms and conditions of the price freeze and it indicates that the deposit remains non-refundable.Now image how much money theyre making of non-refundable price freeze when their system is not allowing the customer to book a room.Only reason I did the price freeze was because I notice when I went to book the room they said the price was no longer available, so I tried the price freeze so it wouldnt go up any higher. I advise customers to avoid them Hopper if you dont want to be part of their money scam. My first and my last experience with these scammers. I should have did my research first.

      I was excited to find an app with low car rental rates. I even bought two of their $20 for $20 deals for carrot cash to add to my discount. Looking through their cars the only two car companies that use the discount/carrot cash have horrible reviews. The good brands on thr site won't let you use carrot cash at all. Also I wrote asking for a refund on both my purchases for the $20 for $20 they said they would get back to me and I have heard nothing. The email said after two days my email or complaint would be closed, so I wrote them again and still nothing. I will not be using their services and I want my money back.

      I watched a flight to ******, ***** for months and was told that the price would go down. It did not. I understood that the price prediction tool is not always correct and decided to go ahead and purchase the tickets. I tried to purchase three different flights and with each one, I was given an error message that said the ticket was unavailable EVEN THOUGH it was listed as available on the app. I was also notified that a 1-2 day hold would be put on my card. I ended up with several holds on my card, no way of telling which flights were actually available, and no flight tickets.I contacted support and spoke with them via email several times. In the end I was told, "I also have checked and can see that there are no flights matching your needs in our inventory, some flight shows up on my end however they will be only available at the airline itself"I begged to book a flight through Hopper because I had a credit but the customer service rep suggested that I purchase from another company. Of the DOZNES of flights listed for purchase on Hopper's app on the days and location that I needed; NONE were actually available to purchase from Hopper. Had I not spoken to support and gotten this information, the only way to see what was truly available on the app was to try to purchase each one individually and allow Hopper to put holds on my credit card for each failed purchase. Overall, a completely disappointing and wildly misleading experience.

      Booked a flight using Hopper for the first time but needed to cancel within the 24 hour grace ******* Airline let me cancel but Ive been trying to get my refund from Hopper for over a month. You have to PAY to speak to customer service, Ive never seen that before. its been a really awful experience.

      This company is total trash. I booked my flight and didn't add any insurance or add-ons. When I got the confirmation email, it only shows my flight and how much it charged. Couple of days later,I checked my credit card statement, they charged $24 add on for flight delay guarantee that I didn`t add for myself and before I confirm to purchase, it did not show.If I made a mistake to add that on or it added automatically and I didn't`t remove it, I took care of it before my purchase. I tripped checked and I only recognized my flight and the total amount, not extra $24. I contact the Hopper and the service agent said, it is non refundable even though I asked I `ve never purchased and didn't get any email about it. My trip is not even until May. If I add that ,why I even contact right away.I am so frustrated. This company doesn't deserve one star. ******* stars. I am deleting Hopper app and never use again!
