      They will never ever admit fault. They will show you on a map that your car rental is at an airport and then have it off site. They will tell you all of the things that YOU should have done instead of acknowledging their misleading site. They will "escalate" Your problem but not really do anything. The voucher they will offer you is minimal because they "can't" do more. It's just a matter of time until they have a class action lawsuit against them. I'll bring the popcorn

      12/23/2022: Hopper confirmation reservation for Rental Car 1/9/2023: **The authorized confirmed operator, went to pick up the Rental following details on the reservation provided by Hopper.Hertz would not release the car, needed credit card that the rental was booked on. Hopper's reservation confirmation failed to provide any instructions, or fine print on this pertinent information. **** had no choice but to process new reservation, at the same cost because Hopper failed to provide this instruction.A refund was requested to Hopper.1/11/2023: Hopper Support confirmation the refund was acknowledged, approved and to be refunded. (Attached document).Rahzelle B. Hopper Support provided the confirming email: the amount of USD307.71 would be refunded back to **** card ending ****, and it may take **** business days to fully process the refund. *1/24/2023: Following the allotted time frame provided - no refund was issued to the ****. A follow-up was sent to Hopper's confirming refund email. A Support agent claimed to be looking into it.2/3/2023: Follow up to same email chain, NO resolve from Hopper. 2/5/2023: Follow up, no refund has been issued. Hopper has not contacted me in this matter or provided a solution.2/7/2023: Followed up to same email chain, requesting help. No resolution has been made.2/8/2023: A new agent claims to be looking into this request. This is 5th, different agent provided by Hopper's Support that has claimed to look into this negligence. Today, 2/12/2023:I am writing to you due to Hopper's inability to resolve this matter. I will be seeking legal aid for case # K35021561B3, regarding Hopper's negligence, unauthentic support, failed communication, misleading information, and bad business practice.

      If I could give less than one star I would. Pretty wild that so many people have taken the time out of their days to review them negatively on this site. The more I look into them, the more I realize just how many people have been scammed by this company. The marketing is overly-simplistic, which is not just confusing, but fully misleads people, leading them to lose their money. The service cap for the "Price Freeze" feature is NOT mentioned to customers at all until after they've receive a confirmation email that they've purchased the price freeze. After hearing that there was a class action lawsuit (not applicable for where I am from), I found that many people were eventually given refunds. After jumping through hoops trying to find their support team, when I asked for a refund for this service, they told me it was "expired" - which had nothing to do with my complaint in the first place! When I said I would complain to the BBB, they said "We understand your decision" - just abysmal service that shows they do not care about their customers. When it is this difficult to contact customer support, you know they are up to something shady.

      Thank you for leaving a review. Please be advised that the service cap information is displayed in the app before you swipe to freeze. For example, "Save up to $300 per traveler if the price goes up. If the price goes down, pay the low price."

      In case the price of the flight increases after purchasing, Hopper will cover the rest up to the service cap (your coverage amount) shown to you at the time of purchase. Hopper will freeze the price of your flight until your Price Freeze’s expiration date. Once the specified time has passed, your Price Freeze will be automatically canceled, and the fee is non-refundable.

      Dont book through the Hopper App Their App is very misleading. The price freeze is a scam even when taking out the refundable option. Cancelled the price freeze and didnt use it. They charged my credit card for the price freeze deposit and the refundable upgrade. No refund received. Buyer Beware!They hide behind the small print on the terms and conditions which are pages and pages long. Nothing is on the page where you actually do the transactions and they want your credit card put into the App before you can go any further. You never get to speak with a ******** Service agent unless you upgrade to their VIP service with a charge! You are better off booking direct with a hotel or airline. Dont fall for their acting like you are getting a great deal. You are not. Read the reviews. Wish we read the reviews before losing over $500 usd.

      I just tried to book flights, 7 months in advance, so my family could fly to ******* to introduce our newborn baby to our family. The app kept glitches when I tried to book our flights and various error messages, only to then see 4 confirmation emails for 4 different sets of international flights all for me, my husband, daughter and baby on the same dates! We cannot get hold of anyone to refund and cancel these reservations that apparently try just happened without our knowledge. This is $10,000 worth of multiple flights!

      Do not use this company. You cannot get a real person to talk with you. I thought my purchase didnt go through because I received a message that said uh Oh, something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes. When I did and then went on again, my purchase went through. I canceled with the airlines because you can cancel within 24 hours with no problem. The fees I paid Hopper to cancel, delayed flight, etc. I would like refunded, because I canceled within 5 minutes of making the purchase. I thought that getting the message that something went wrong, was saying I did not complete the purchase. I deleted my payment information, but it still went through . I dont see any information on refunds from Hopper regarding the extra fees.. I will not use this service again.

      This has been the worst company to book travel that we have ever experienced. Weve been waiting for weeks for a refund after being told that hopper are waiting to hear from the hotel that they forgot to book to authorize a refund. We contacted the hotel only to find out that the funds that hopper took are being held by Expedia. There is no phone number to speak to anyone and they respond with the same hollow cut-and-paste empathies We are here to help our support team will reach out we regret to learnand on and on and on. Weve receive emails from 5 different support members all who keep kicking the can. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app.

      I had made a reservation with hopper and they did not give me a reservation. With out a reservation I cannot dispute the transaction nor can I cancel the transaction but the money was taken off my card and is pending. So I'm unable to keep a roof over my head due to you guys taking money for a reservation that you never gave me.

      Horrible experience. I lost $400 when I had to cancel my flights, and the remaining $600 flight credits are being held hostage by Hopper. I cannot rebook flights using the credits, which I have to use by April 21st. Contacted customer support via the app as its the only way to request assistance. If I am unable to use the remaining credit with them, *** lost over $1,000 using their app. This is with paying extras for cancellations and customer support! Its completely mind blowing that companies are able to get away with essentially robbing their customers. DO NOT USE THEIR APP! Its a huge scam!
