      ZERO STARS. This business is a SCAM. I booked a hotel online through them paying a room rate for a panoramic suite including taxes. I called the hotel; they had a reservation for a far inferior basic room, excluding taxes. Thank goodness I called the hotel. If I had shown up and taken that far inferior room-I would have to pay an additional $2000 in taxes-- and if I wanted to get the panoramic view room I booked through Hopper I would have to pay the hotel $8000 for the difference. I attempted to reach Hopper by phone to discuss this, they have no one to answer calls. I then attempted to speak to someone by paying to "upgrade to VIP Service to receive customer service via text in 5 minutes" yesterday and got no response then. Today they texted me-I believe bots- the first saying that is the type of room I booked! but would I like to cancel? I responded catching them in their own scam. She said she would contact the hotel. The second bot said she would have someone "clarify my room type and taxes". Calling her bluff, I told her to put me on a three way call with the hotel. She wouldn't do so. I then told her to have customer service call me. No call. My credit card company will handle the charge back tomorrow. Do not use them; it is NOT REAL.

      I booked a hotel in ****** through hopper, im at the hotel stranded there was never a booking done. Im stranded in a foreign country and hopper phone numbers dont work, their chat is useless, the agent said im taking notes to forward to experts

      4 charges appeared on my credit card from Hopper on the same day for over $2000.00 I have never dealt with this company and it is impossible to get them on the phone. All this company has is one star reviews. It should be obvious to them that they have a very big problem or they don't care about bad reviews. Now I have to go with a fraud case with my card company. I have never seen worse reviews.

      I booked thru Hopper a lot lately but this time my hotel reservation was confirmed by hotel and HOPPER! No room at *********** when I arrived and you can only email Hopper. No one responded till noon the next day. My son and I had to sleep in car. They will not refund my money. We are homeless so I have no choice but to stay at hotel right now with very little funds available. Please help

      I booked a car rental through hopper for Nov 1, 2022 thru Nov 4 2022. I paid for the car and insurance in case of any collision . I arrived at 7 pm on November 1,3022 and the representative told me I could not rent a car without. a $2000 deposit. We found that to be very excessive especially since we rented with the same company two years ago. I paid almost $200 with Mo ride or refund .

      After reading some of these reviews I see my case wasnt unique at all. I had and unfortunate experience with their price freeze, that basically made me pay over 200 dollars, over the cost that was frozen. It was so much that was done here that I felt just ethically wrong that I wont even go into it, but basically they offer a load of services and options that dont help the consumer and that they dont plan on honoring. Earlier this year I purchased trip insurance; flight delay insurance, as well as another one, and needed all three. Hopper honored none of them. Steer clear of this app at all costs

      I did a third party car rental through an app called Hopper that also pushed the car rental coverage at a discounted rate to lock in the price prior to picking up the car on the morning of I got suckered in to paying in that moment ahead of time to ease my peace of mind. When I got there the morning of I realized I did not need rental coverage because I have my own car insurance and theirs was much cheaper, so I canceled the coverage I prepaid. I was promised a refund from Hoppers third party RentalCover.com and have yet to see my money refunded. There is no person to contact, no real customer care, just circles referring you back to the app over and over to the same dead end, no real solutions. Nightmares. Never again. The eaters I paid for my bookings of the car and hotel through the Hopper app were the same if I called and booked them myself.

      Hopper is a scam that robs customers and false advertises. I purchased 2 price freezes at 747 each. When I went to finalize my booking, the app gave me a notification stating the price had dropped to 544 and gave me the option to purchase at the lower price. When I completed the transaction, my card was charged 804 in addition to the original 223. I sat on their chat for literally 4 HOURS to be told the charge was correct. After sending the rep *********** and trying to get clarification, my second price freezes expired and they refused to honor the fact that I was speaking to them while it expired and refused to extend it for 10 mins so it could be finalized. I stressed the fact that the site ****** states that if the price drops I would pay the lower price. Which continued to be ignored. So not only did they take more out of my account than they should have, they also stole my initial payment of 223 as I was speaking to one on their agents. Still not understanding how they want me to understand paying almost $1100 for a $544 flight. PLEASE STAY FAR FROM HOPPER UNLESS YOU HAVE FREE MONEY UP FOR GRABS. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT. THEY GET A ZERO IN MY BOOK.

      Scam artists. Do not give them any money. When cancelling price freeze, they tell you receive carrot cash. Instead you receive a voucher that you cannot combine with carrot cash. When confronted, they conveniently decided that vouchers are a 'form of carrot cash' eventhough they are clearly two different things on their app. Lost $90 to their scam.

      I just returned from an airplane reservation made through Hopper..It was a credit from December 2021. I have never received such poor customer service as I have with your company. I would receive a response to my emails that would say did we resolve your issues?. They literally did nothing and then the email would say this conversation has ended! I would get different answers from different people. Then I spent an hour on the day of my departure only to find that you gave me an old confirmation code. Up until 45 minutes before our flight departed, we werent sure we were going to go on vacation! This mistake looked like I hadnt paid. Thats what they told me. Luckily, Aeromexico was very helpful and figured out your mistake. I will never use Hopper again. I have already told friends and family about my experiences with your company and have also told them NOT TO USE HOPPER!
