Terrible customer service. 24/7 customer service just means its all outsourced to every inch of the globe paying people subpar checks to handle things they dont care about. Will never use again. They actively canceled my hotel and blamed me for it. Refused to allow me to speak to upper management. And upper management when reached just said I was wrong. And when I called her out for her lies she hung up.Hopper USA, Inc.

I booked a hotel through their app and when I got there the hotel wouldnt honor the price I paid and said Hopper was supposed to email me, they did not! So the hotel gave my room away, I was on the phone for several hours on and off with Hopper representatives being given a total run around, I went back to the hotel because they had a room available due to someone canceling and Hopper told me I was the one that forfeited them rebooking the hotel. I tried for over three weeks to get something resolved only to continue to get the run around as well as being sent (prewritten) apology emails. Claiming to feel bad about the trouble the entire situation caused me. I was very clear from the fist phone call that I wanted the room I paid for. They offered another hotel room AFTER I told them the hotel had a room, and because I held the room waiting for them to come through and do the right thing they told me I refused the other room and fulfilled their obligation because of it. I talked to several different agents, the first one at 11:00 who said she would have comparable accommodations within 30 minutes to an hour. I didnt hear from her until 4:30 after I made arrangements with the original hotel. None of the agents I talked to ever communicated with the other agents, so I had to explain every single time with each one what was going on. And then with every call I was told I was being recorded, so I told them they needed to listen to the recording to see that I told everyone I talked too that just getting a refund was not acceptable and I wanted to stay at the original hotel, they LIED and said the recordings didnt reveal that. That was a total lie!! I told every single person I talked too, the recordings shouldnt just protect the company, they should also protect the consumer. I will NEVER use this company again, and I will tell everyone I know as well. Horrible customer service!!! I wasted almost 6 hours on a one day trip trying to plead my case.Hopper USA, Inc.

Misleading advertisment Sure, here's the revised text with corrected grammar and spelling:In the app, the hotel is advertised as ************* by *******, so we reserved the room (non-refundable). However, when we arrived at the hotel, it was not a *********; it was a Super 8 by *******, which is obviously not the same. The first room they gave us smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the second one was not any better. I can't cancel the reservation, and the room is very old.Hopper USA, Inc.

Worst experience! We had a hotel stay that we had issues with, the hotel agreed to refund our stay but after a month of chasing hopper, providing them with multiple proofs that the hotel agreed to a refund they keep stalling and sending me around in circles on how they are still working on the refund and that the hotel is refusing the refund even though they have written proof they agree. 5 hours long phone calls and multiple emails later Im done, just disputing it with my bank as these people are scammers!Hopper USA, Inc.

Never use ****** for flight booking. Worst customer services I ever encountered. If you try to cancel flight booking within 24 hours after booking, they will give you very hard time. I tried to cancel my booking after couple of hours after booking and they refused to cancel my booking despite I was begging to them whole day on phone with different agents. Hopper engages in deceptive practices similar to Amazon's Prime sign-**** When booking flights or hotels, the app shows prices in one currency (e.g., NTD). During checkout, multiple promotional offers pop up. After rejecting them, a final offer appears during the processing screen, displaying an additional discount in USD (with "USD" in very small font). This tricks users into thinking the price is cheaper. For reference, $1 NTD is $0.03095 USD. This has happened repeatedly over the years. When contacting Hopper's customer service to cancel or rebook, they claim their system doesn't allow it, indicating they are aware of this issue. The *** language, pop-up prompts, and no-return policy for add-ons seem designed to deceive customers. I lost $52 USD due to this practice. I believe Hopper is being dishonest and should be investigated.Hopper USA, Inc.

Still waiting on a refund that was supposed to be issued within 24hrs per customer service. Even ********************** agreed that we were due a refund. The hotel sent the money back to Hopper and sent us the receipt, so as of right now Hopper is illegally holding onto our money.Hopper USA, Inc.

I purchased round trip tickets on ****** Airlines via Hopper on March 5, 2024. Per ****** agent, Hopper cancelled my tickets on the same day of my purchase without notifying me (On Hopper mobile application, my tickets showed as confirmed as of yesterday (5/22/24). I finally reached an agent for Hopper but received no explanation for the cancellation except vague references to a glitch. Do not recommend this company.Hopper USA, Inc.

Complete criminal. Hopper Ripped me off $180. They charged me $60 per night for resort fees then never paid the resort this money. Because of this I had to pay the hotel again when I checked in. Horrible customer service. I wasted over 2 hours on the phone attempting to recover the money they stole from me with no success.On top of this they had the nerve to try and sell me flights 3 different times while they made me wait on hold. 1 starI purchased a gift card and it didn't allow me to redeem it. I reached out to them and they told me to wait a moment and when they got back to me they said I had redeemed it even though their app said I didn't. After some time the balance finally showed up to my account and when I tried booking a hotel with my balance I kept getting my payment denied. I reached out to them again and they told me to give them a couple of hours to "find a solution". When they finally contacted me again they told me my account had been locked for "fraudulent activity" and that I won't be able to use it until it basically activates itself again which would take a "couple of months", that's if it even does "unlock" itself. I asked for a refund and for them to take the balance from my account since I can't use the product I purchased at all and they refused to saying it's against their policy, even though under their policy I should be allowed to do booking, so apparently their policies only work in their favor. I was given no solution and lost the $295.20 until their system decides I should be allowed to use my own money, that is if it ever does. NEVER again using Hopper services and would NOT recommend. Wasted 8 hours of my time emailing them and calling them on the phone asking for help only to recieve automated responses and no solution at all. Now I have no hotel or hotel money thanks to Hopper and their terrible customer service.
