I went to return something at the TJ maxx in Framingham MA. The time as I was walking in was 9:29PM, I understand I was a minute prior to closing. The manager Kevin, let me in but you could tell they were all in a rush to leave. My original purchase was around $130 of which I paid $50 with a tj max gift card and the remainder $80 I used a my credit card. I was returning $70 worth of stuff. The woman at the register was super rude while giving me attitude and she even said, passive-aggressively “we’ve been slow all day and you decide to come two minutes before closing” I apologized and felt super anxious by her remark. She then said “I’m returning $50 to a gift card” I said I paid $80 in my card and wanted that money back on my card. She said okay and had me insert my card for the $50 and then insert my card for another $20. It made no sense as why she was doing this separately. When I left the store, logged into my bank account and saw that she only had returned $20 to my bank card. I then realized she had made a mistake. I tried to go back in and Kevin the manager, was pretending like he didn’t see me. I was pointing at my receipt for clarification and again, Kevin, was pretending like he didn’t see me. He even slammed the door closed shut and kept telling me “we’re closed, we’re closed” without listening to me. All I wanted to know was clarification, where did the $50 go? Did she add it to the card she had in her hand? The one she failed to give to me?

I made the mistake of setting up an account on T.J.Maxx.com recently and, after seeing how they shipped through an inferior shipping company, along with glitches on their website that cause problems trying to log in, I asked their Customer Service Dept. to close my account. That was days' ago and, since then, every new day brings yet another ridiculous email from them that doesn't even address the closing of my account. I've forwarded a complete report to the CEO of TJX, the entity behind T.J.Maxx.com, which included copies of the absurd emails from the CS Dept. that clearly prove they are purposely stalling on getting my account closed out. It appears they are trying to frustrate and wear me down to the point I'll just give up and walk away. "No way!" Their business ethics are definitely not up to industry standards and dealing with people who are lying to their customers each and every time should be seriously addressed and investigated. I've filed negative reviews on other sites as well, yet not one executive from TJX has responded. The endless negative experiences of countless mistreated customers appear to go unnoticed. I'm more than upset by this point ... but I'm not going away "empty-handed" ... I'm going to keep coming at these fools UNTIL they close out my account. It should have been a simple request, but these morons have made a monumental mess of things. Thank you, T.J.Maxx.com, for nothing other than your dishonesty, deceit, and lack of professionalism ... a "real class act" all the way!

Recently I purchased a wool blend coat and found it was too small . I sent it back and they refused it saying it had pet hair and had been worn, 100% not true. After sending pictures it was then management approved the return. I’ve never had this experience before, I’m thinking it was just employee training

On October 20, 2024 I ordered clothes on Tjmaxx online. The next day on Monday I call customer service telling them by accident I made a mistake on my address, the person I spoke with told me to call Fedex so they can change my address or cancel it completely even thought it was shipped the next day. I call fedex the same day and they tell me that they will probably send it back and to call the shipper which is Tjmaxx. I told them that’s exactly what Tjmaxx told me to contact you guys, fedex, I asked them what were my options and they said fedex can’t do anything about it because it was shipped. I watched the tracker to see if it was still on its way even though the address was wrong. On October 24th 2024 it shows the package was delivered to the wrong location and with no picture. I call for refund on fedex part they said no . I contacted Tjmaxx for a refund I spoke with one lady saying wait for 72 hours and then call me back and we will give you a refund. I talked to another agent from customer service and they told me I can’t get a refund due to shipping and wrong address. The last agent I spoke with from customer service told me to wait 24 hours and call back for refund but all of them changed their mind I guess? I am so confused, I love Tjmaxx and it really disappoints me no one knows how to do their job, I get 3 other people telling me different stories. On top of that I checked my order, one of the items that I purchased was a jacket and the color was ivory and all of a sudden the order changed and it showed color chilli pepper. I never changed it, I didn’t even know you could do that even thought it’s been shipped. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or someone made a mistake very odd. Please help me solve this issue and have someone with the right information.

I have been a customer for over 2 years and I have never been late on a payment. TJX increased my credit limit the beginning of the year, but closed my account because I have not used my card since July 30, 2024. My account was closed October 11th without so much as a letter. The customer service representative said I would have to reapply for another card. That's crazy!

I literally bought shoes yesterday. they looked like someone else retuned them and wore them. the straps barely fit. and they looked bad when i bought them. i thought they would fit. well they didn’t because of how worn they were. well today i tried to return. they would not return my item “due to them looking worn” even though i only wore them in my house and in the store. i told them i wont be coming back anymore to any TJ maxx store or sister company. i suggest everyone else not go there either. if i have the receipt you should return my item esp if i just bought them yesterday. i dont care if its a customer policy. if i bought them yesterday you should return them. it’s ridiculous. so they lost another loyal customer of many years. i won’t be returning.

I purchased boots online through T.J. Maxx, a company with whom I have done business for more than 50 years. They chose a shipper - On Trac - and I paid T. J. Maxx using PayPal. I received a notice the boots were delivered and they were NOT there on the front porch. On Trac sent a photo "Rochester, NY xxxxx (zip code) without my name and address on the label. The also sent a photo of the package supposedly sitting at my front door. THE PROBLEM ? IT WAS NOT MY FRONT DOOR. I then sent photos of MY FRONT DOOR from 2008, 2016 and 2024 showing MY DOOR WAS BLACK AND THEIR DOOR WAS BEIGE. I proceeded over the next FIVE days to contact T. J. Maxx and also have PayPal do so and working with both, unfortunately, was unbearable. It is now Oct. 10 - the boots were ordered September 22 and neither PayPal nor T. J. Maxx chooses to take responsibility. On Trac, the shipper chosen by T. J. Maxx, has a 1 rating with BBB and is a "last leg" deliverer for UPS, USPS, Fed X - meaning they are independent drivers using their own vehicle unmarked, just like Uber or Lyft or DoorDash. NO WAY to track them. Perfect cover for thieves. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH T. J. MAXX OR PAYPAL UNLESS YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH because the stress will damn near kill you.

I was a Loyal customer. I have never missed one payment in 2 years. Always paid on time never late and all of the sudden they drop my credit limit. I called to find out why and they did a review of my account and decided I was a risk. Remember I've never been late never missed one payment and I only owe them $60 but I'm a risk so they dropped my limit. This effects my credit utilization score, so I tried to talk to someone but I couldn't get to anyone that could give me an answer or help. Very very frustrated. Yes I've had to use my cards more than normal because my husband was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, so my score has dropped but all payment are still on time, not one payment has been late on one account.

TJ MAXX is trying to collect on a credit card that I never activated or even received. I would rather see them in court than pay a penny over this.
