  I am a resident of ****** and have been grateful for the service provided by Alvin Hollis for 35 years. They offer service contracts that are fair and well administered. Their staff is friendly and neat when working. Their plumbing services provide maintenance as well as new product installation when requested or needed. Oil deliveries are automatic and very consistent. Oil burner service has also been done yearly and maintenance as well. Full service and yearly budget provided. Never any issues with needs. Highly recommend this company.

  We have been very satisfied customers for 45 years. Not only are they knowledgeable about anything to do with heat, theyre also great plumbers! We had a leaky shutoff outside and had 3 plumbers look at the situation and walk away because they couldnt find the pipe. Ive had Alvin Hollis do plumbing inside before so I called and they came out within a few days (it was not an emergency), found the pipe and fixed it and another shutoff too. Their employees are personable, polite and knowledgeable, Ill always call them for heating or plumbing problems.

  I have been a satisfied customer with ********************** for over 50 years. Just had a new oil tank (****) installed couldn't be happier. The team that were sent to do the removal of old tank and istallation were professional. knowlegable and friendly. I'm having a new burner istalled too. Would.t have any other company. They are so knowledgable and courtious from bottom to tha top. Alvin Hollis shows their concern for their customersOn scale of 1-10 I GIVE THEM AN 11

  I have been a customer of ********************** since 1986. When you are working with the best why would you ever change? They have been maintaining both our heating and air conditioning systems. They installed an Energy Kinetics System 2000 in 1999 when oil was $1.29 per gallon. It has saved us thousands in energy savings since. This spring we had them replace our 24-year-old Carrier central air conditioning system with a new Carrier system. *********************** was very helpful making sure we were getting the optimal system for our needs. We were given a weeks' notice prior to the start of the job. On the designated day the crew showed up and we were having torrential down pours. With the air handling unit being located in the attic it was necessary for them to walk through several carpeted areas of the home. They took great care to ensure all interior surfaces remained undisturbed. When the job was completed later that same day you wouldn't know anyone had been here. I have and will continue to recommend Alvin Hollis to anyone who is looking for a professional/trustworthy HVAC contractor.

  I have been an Alvin Hollis customer for over 40 years. They have "rescued" me more than once when I needed prompt help. About 25 years ago, when a hole in the furnace resulted in water all over the furnace room floor and no hot water for us, we called Alvin Hollis at 4 a.m. for help. A representative came to the house by 7, stopped the leak and cleaned up the water on the floor. We had a new furnace by the end of the day. Another episode about 10 years ago, when I came home from a vacation and glanced into the furnace room, the oil tank had developed a leak and there was several gallons of oil on the floor. A service person arrived within an hour, drained my tank, set up a reserve to maintain the heat in the house and cleaned up the floor. I had a new oil tank the next day. You'd never know there had been a leak. I have had to replace my hot water heater recently. Great service and it's been done promptly. What I like most about the service personnel is that they treat me, a single woman, with respect and intelligence. I am not considered the "town idiot", just because I'm older and female. They explain the issues and respond to my questions. I expect to remain an Alvin Hollis customer for both oil deliveries and system maintenance. It's a great company with great people.

  I have been an Alvin Hollis customer for 37 years and recently had to have my oil tank replaced.Everything from start to finish was a positive experience for me. All I had to do for prep was to make sure I had a clear path for the old tank to be taken out and the new one to come in. Other than that the crew from Alvin Hollis did everything including sweeping the area upon completion.They showed up a little early and went right to work completing what I thought would be a big project in less time than I imagined it would take and were gone earlier than expected. When I spoke with a representative from Alvin Hollis I thanked her for their sending in the "A" team . I mean these guys were great. Here response was "We have about a dozen "A teams at Alvin Hollis." Also worthy of note ; when the bill arrived it was exactly to the ***** what I was quoted initially. There were no surprise add ons for shop supplies, disposal fees , permits or anything else . Thank You to Alvin Hollis for a very positive experience. I could not have been happier. **************

  I recently contacted Alvin Hollis (and three other companies) to obtain a quote for three items: oil burning furnace, central air conditioning and a new oil tank. Of the four, Alvin Hollis had the lowest price. Additionally, I had been getting my bioheat from them for many years, so I was familiar with the company and their high standard of work ethics. The oil tank arrived first, and the men who delivered it were very polite and efficient. They drained and double filtered the oil that was in my old tank so that the new tank wouldnt contain sludge. They managed to remove the old tank and bring in a new tank through a very tight space. They installed the new tank, pumped the oil into it, cleaned up after themselves, and left my cellar in better condition than they found it. A week later, they were back to install the new furnace and central air. They brought a licensed electrician to do the electrical work as well. Again, all the staff were polite and efficient. They answered all my questions, showed me how best to insert a new filter, pointed out the controls then installed a new programmable thermostat and showed me how to program it. They tested both the furnace and the A/C to ensure they were working properly. After everything was installed and the cellar was cleaned up, they again had left my cellar in neater condition than it started in. Later, Alvin Hollis followed up to ensure that I was happy with their services and the products. I was and I am. I highly recommend this company.

  I've been a customer of ********************** since 1996. Their service is is always above and beyond. Over the years we had a few incidents of no heat during snowstorms and frigid weather, not only did they get to our house quickly, but resolved the issues quickly too. Alvin gives me peace of mind knowing that they will be there if we need them. Recently, we had to replace our 30 year old burner and hot water heater. From start to finish Alvin spent time with us to explain our options, cost etc. This is a huge expense and again we have peace of mind that a company like Alvin provided us a quality product, top notch knowledgeable technicians/installers not to mention how helpful their office staff is. They installed in one day, came on time, and cleaned up like they were never here. The owner even stopped by during the install to see how things were going. That really impressed me. I highly recommend them. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

  We have been using Alvin Hollis for over 10 years for oil delivery and serivce to our oil boiler.Their service team is *******************, punctual and polite and clean up after their work.They recently replaced my leaking oil tank, and the entire process was outstanding.
