1 starThis is the absolute worst company that I have ever dealt with and I would give NO stars if that were an option. My mom needed her armrest repaired on a NEW wheelchair because a s**** fell out. The so called repairmen came, took it apart, took pictures, and said that they would be back in 2 weeks! Seriously, to replace a screw? Anyway, this was in JANUARY 2023, and we are STILL waiting. She has been using a borrowed chair with her new chair sitting in her garage. She did have an appointment to fix the chair earlier, but it was a no call, no show. I would love to get a refund on this chair and get one from a reputable company. Please, if you are needing a wheelchair, find someone other than this horrible place.Review fromJanie E

1 starIn my 30 years as a RN , I have never experienced such poor service. I work with medically fragile pediatric patients in the home. This company does not return phone calls or followup on parts requests and services needed on wheelchairs. They sell the wheelchairs but do not even return calls when the kids outgrow the seating or need new headrests or adjustments. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After being sold a TERRIBLE (and dangerously flawed) power wheelchair by Numotion (**********) in 2014 I made the mistake of again working with Numotion (in WA) to replace it. I explained my situation to three different people and was told what processes I had to go through, paid the virtual ** visit fee, only THEN to be told that the rules were that I would have to RENT the new chair for x number of months before converting to a full ownership purchase (on top of waiting at least three+ months before receiving possession of chair to begin with). This completely changed the situation and made no sense for me to pay a $525/mo COBRA premium for ~**** months or more for the recommended chair that would cost less than $4k cash price. Had I been told that up front I would not have scheduled (and paid for) the ** visit nor wasted my time with this company again.Numotion

I will never do business with NuMotion ever again!It took 7 months to have the incorrect wheelchair delivered. NuMotion insisted what was delivered was approved by the therapist and the physician and the only way to get what was originally requested was to start the process over. I sent a message to the *** who had the ***Customer Relations contact me, which subsequently led them to not only not correcting the issue but also releasing me as a customer. From what the ***Customer Relations stated they will no longer support any warranty claims or future adjustments and I will have to use a separate vendor. I requested NuMotion to send me all medical documents so I can review the requests and authorization of the therapist and physician, which shows they both approved what I originally requested. Working with NuMotion and trying to be a customer has been one of the hardest processes I have ever had to deal with. I had to engage my sons school to try and assist with getting NuMotion just to respond in the beginning. The lack of communication within their offices subsequently ended up costing me a significant amount more. Like I stated above, I will never work with NuMotion for any needs ever again. There executive team acted as if they wanted to assist me, but never really did. If any of them would have done a little research they would have seen there mistake and hopefully corrected it. I am a crippled person with no right leg I have an electric wheelchair prescribed by my dr to get around I have had numerous issues with the equipment provided by this company including the fact that I have to stand behind chair and physically push it up handicapped van while equipment has both a full charge and is set on the most powerful setting doing both of which are not easy for anyone let alone someone missing a limb I've been told by every driver that this is only an issue with my chair no one else has this issue I've complained repeatedly to local agent and gotten no where and also to national headquarters putting a video online showing the lengths i have to go thru to get chair on the van and asked for loaner equipment while this gets resolved only to hear silence and it has been almost a year and I know my equipment will be out of warranty before a solution is reached I have no idea what steps I should take nextNumotion

Total disregard for any sense of decency. Personally witnessed a newly quadriplegic go through the power chair process with this company to only wait for months with empty hopes to finally realize after several month of waiting to get to his family they dropped the ball and sent endless paperwork until we had to give up the paperwork battle and move on. Do not do business with this company!Numotion

1 starMy sister lives in a Nursing Facility as she is paralyzed and counts on her motorized wheelchair. I called NuMotion 2/20/22 and they went to check her wheelchair, it wasn't working. The Tech said it needed a battery and Joy ****** I keep calling and no one returns my calls. Finally got someone who said they faxed an order to ******************** office, I again explained they need to fax it to **************** at the facility she lives in. They said they would send the request to fax to Medical Records, and this takes 2 to 3 days. Really my sister counts on this wheelchair and we have been waiting 2 months. They do not seem to care of the fact that she is paralyzed and counts on her wheelchair. They don't seem to have anyone to follow up on things and they could have called me if they weren't getting the order signed. The are so uncompassionate and the people on the phones have no emotion at all. So sad. Guess I will look for another company. *** in St. ******Review fromBJ M

This company deserves no stars at all, maybe a half of a star. Nu Motion should be called NO MOTION! This is the sorriest company I've ever had to deal with, SC or whereever they originate. For one as bad as it is, the strain must be coming from the top! Other than that there would be some straighten up through the whole company. They are very discouraging at responding back to the customer and getting the correct information to the correct areas. It's even worst having a repair done. My case I have been working with them for 2 yrs. of discouragement. They don't understand that with you dealing with your sickness you gotta deal with "A" holes too within their business! Come on. They switched up on retrieving information from the original doctor. They hadn't reported the new fix needed, between each worker area. That means no conversation or notes being read between the different areas of the company. Vice Pres., so I was told called said things would get done. Well others must didn't feel her same energy. Because I had to call and be annoyed again. I am so tired of having to fuss and cuss about things that should be done naturally. I tell you if you fool with this company your on your own. I wish I had read the reviews... there is no way I would had messed with them... NO WAY!!!!!!!! People be aware of this non working on orders company. I'm so sorry but they really should be TOO! I felt like I had a Huge flower pot, that I couldn't grow c*** Get some real workers and stop blaming the no work and back up orders, on COVID. PLEASE!Numotion

Worst place ever. Told me insurance covered everything no money out of pocket get home $4000 bill in the mail Back and forth for it for over two years till I finally dropped it. Anytime I need service or repair takes months to get anything to happen been waiting over a year for a new cushion now finally called me say its in OK put it in the mail no problem 15 minutes later get a call you owe us more money before will send it to you.
