      DO NOTDO ****** NOT USE THIS SERVICE. This company is forcefully pushing people to purchase their marketing software and refuse to cancel or refund your money when your account has been unauthorized to be charged. Their customer service deflects from the issue at hand and will not escalate the call when you ask multiple times. I was lied to by the agent when he said he would escalate the call and when I told him to follow through with the escalation he then refused and said he didnt know a manager. The marketing software did not have the tools I needed and ultimately was not what I was initially looking for.

      I signed up with them in September 2024 because they said they could give me SMS for my social group. I am not a business, I dont have an EIN and am not a sole proprietor. I do not need a marketing plan, all I want is to be able to send the 130 residents in my community (who already signed up with me for this) reminders and notifications about community activities, community meetings, planned or emergency utility outages, etc.I contact them explain my situation (see first comment above, I am not a business) and they explain the form for SMS. I fill it out, wait for the required time to get approved, then another week goes by so I call them back and I explain everything AGAIN and they tell me I shouldnt have changed the boilerplate answer in the application which was asking me for two examples of the kinds of questions I would be sending. The boilerplate answers had to do with marketing and advertising. Again, I am not a business.I was really uncomfortable lying on my application for something that involves the *** and was told my application probably wouldnt get approved then. But I reapplied, waited another 5-7 working days plus a week and same result. I had talked to approximately 8 different representatives at this point and EVERY TIME I had to explain I am not a business and EVERY TIME the new person sounded shocked like I was asking for something they have never heard of. What do you mean you are not a business? (because I am just a neighbor sharing information) Whats the name of your group? (BR) Why cant you just use your EIN from that? (because its not a business) Then you are the sole proprietor so use your tax ID number (um, no, again, still not a business, no tax ID to use).After having been charged two months in a row for services I couldnt use I asked for a refund. No one in customer svs can do that, someone will call me. Over a month later and 4 different people promising me the manager would call I still have no refund.

      Been a customer for over 11 years. Just discovered that an automated email that is supposed to go out to new contact that is added has NOT gone out for the past 9 months. It just got deleted by the system. I'm glad I found the issue, and after a lot of time spent with them on the phone, they rebuilt this email ... and it still doesn't work. My much bigger complaint is though that the customer service is absolutely terrible. It takes them a long time to respond and they have zero concerns about loosing a very loyal, long term customer. Very sad to see a company like this go down hill so badly.

      I am currently looking for a way to generate leads and promote my business. The sales *** lied to me about pricing which led me to believe that they are an unethical company. Intrigued, I decided to look at reviews on ******, but couldn't find any. I decided to check BBB and I am so glad that I read these reviews for this company before paying for their "monthly subscription".

      This company did not refund my money $48.00. I was lured into thinking I had time to do what they said when it came to their service of advertising. They instead robbed me of my funds and did not refund for services not used. Its a crappy untrustworthy company. Do not use them! This is how they earn money by coercing others to try their services but without you using it they take your funds. I work hard for my hard earned money and I do not like being taken advantage of. This companys management are a bunch of liars as well and they said they would refund $30 but in the end they didnt. $48 taken with no services used. I am glad I caught on to them early.Protect your money from this company. DO NOT USE THEM! They are CROOKS. I am completely disgusted and disappointed in them. I hope no other people or business falls victim to them for services not rendered.I would like to warn all small business to steer clear of this company due to their crookednesss.I cant rate them lower than 1 star if I could they would be a 0 (zero)!

      Unethical Billing Practices and ********************* I initially signed up for Constant Contact at a rate of under $5/month. After a price increase, I called and was assured by a representative that my payments would be adjusted back to $4.99/month. I agreed to this arrangement, trusting the company to honor it.Recently, I noticed I was being charged $9.99/monthdouble the agreed-upon ratewithout any notice or explanation. When I contacted customer support to request a refund for the overcharged amount, I was met with dismissiveness. The first representative repeatedly interrupted me, insisting the price hadnt gone up but was instead a promotion. She then hung up on **** called back to report this unprofessional behavior, but the manager I spoke to showed no concern. Rather than addressing the issue, they explained that everyones time is important and refused to issue a refund. Instead, they transferred me to billing to cancel my account, but again, no attempt was made to refund the months I was charged 100% more than the agreed-upon price.This experience has left me deeply disappointed. Constant Contact appears comfortable taking customers money without notice or approval, but unwilling to take accountability or offer solutions when theyre in the wrong. Such unethical business practices and lack of customer care make it impossible for me to recommend them to anyone.

      These people are a bunch of crooks. Refused to refund my money after they said they would. I never agreed to a ongoing purchase. They have $$42.75 of my money. I.cannot recommended this company. They have very deceptive business practices.People will burn in h*** for beating all these people out of their money. How in the world could the BBB give them a ****** rating. It should be F.

      This company has deceptive billing processes. Constant Contact bills by the number of contacts you have in your account. If you exceed that level, you are automatically bumped up to the next billing level; however, if you go down a level, you do not automatically get the lower rate. You need to call to do this. I called a month after removing contacts and they will not refund the $100 from the prior month as they say they are nonrefundable. They said I should have known to call by searching on deleting contacts. I did not find that information when searching on deleting accounts. How would I know? I had assumed it was automatic both ways - nothing gave me a reason not to believe this. They are making tons of money off of this deceptive way of doing business.

      I was quoted $****** a month by the account sales person You charged my credit card $405.00 Constant contact admitted the sales *** miss quoted the service as they use a recorded line and they will not return my money and cancel my account, I was quoted ****** and they charged me $405.00. I am seeking a refund of $110.00 start up fee and $405.00 with total of $515.00 and I will go on my own way.I am not sure why this company has such a terrible customer service policy I am sure the correct answer is to refund the consumers money and cancel my account i am not happy with constant contact, i was pushed around to 7 people until, I got the final person that said NO REFUND. I do not recommend this company to any small business, to any large business to any one that wants to work with an unethical , poorly run company. WARNING: save your time and money and do not use Constant Contact.

      Deceptive business practices are disgusting...as well as poor customer relations management. ******************** the company likely has a revenue of up to $1 billion dollars and the fact that I cannot speak to a manager is unacceptable.
