      This company provides unethical sales and I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company. During the trial period, I was encouraged to try the premium services which I didn't need. I was told that this was refundable. When I asked to be refunded, I was only refunded $20, and upon review the company told me that because I authorized the charges, they would not refund me the $55 they owe me. Upon learning this, I searched for a way to leave a review of this company and found that there are multiple reviews just like this here with the BBB. I plan to call my credit card company and file a complaint with the BBB and any other agency I can think of because this is unethical and I believe illegal business practice. I would not recommend them from the perspective of the billing department. The tech support etc. has been great but if you can't trust the financial side of things, it's very difficult to continue working with a company.

      HORRIBLE COMPANY, been charging me "prepaid" amounts each year for the last 4 years after I thought I had canceled my account in 2020, apparently it was suspended instead and my account though inactive for 4 years has been charged each month and the company has an almost $600 balance from "prepaids" it's charged my card and they won't return it to me because it's "not eligible" to be returned (even though they're finally going to "cancel" my account). Completely stealing money - totally unethical practices. Poor service, so they way they get their money is by "trapping" you into weird payment methods that are completely unintuitive, unethical and not letting you cancel without calling on the phone and talking to someone. Shame on you!

      July 31, 2024 I signed up with the understanding that I could cancel before work was performed from Constant Contact. I spoke to ***** and he indicated that is correct. I left him a messages and he never returned both times I called. I emailed the company several times but to no avail. I found that I then lost the $25.97 monthly rate. Today September 3rd I see another payment was pending on my checking account. I called them and spoke to ****** and she indicated they DO NOT REFUND the payments. I told her to cancel and give me the confirmation # that it was canceled. This is not a way to do business! STOP AND READ OTHERS THAT HAVE COMPLAINED BEFORE SIGNING UP! I WISH I HAD!

      On April 1, ***** I spoke to a Constant Contact sales ***resentative who wanted to keep me as a customer. He offered me a super deal to continue and restore my dead account by offing me a price of $142.80- and I was promised I could send out up to ***** Email addresses for six months. I had ***** email addresses in my account and have been using the service. Then on July 1 they decided to surprise bill me for every contact over 500 with zero notice or communication. I never even signed a contract agreeing to this outrageously high price. I was under the understanding that I was paid in full for six months then the subscription price would increase after six months, instead they billed my Amex with an additional $552. charge. Surprize!!! When I called them in anger about this surprise amount their polite ***resentative apologized that I had been lied to by a sales *** and refused to give me a full refund for the $552. !!! Only offered a partial refund. This is a very unethical way to do business. When I argued this was not fair at all they told me this policy of increasing the bill based on the number of contacts you have is built into their terms and conditions that I never saw, likely buried on page 8 and no one every sent me those terms for a signature of approval and they have no authorization from me. This is the third billing problem Ive had with this very unethical company. When I asked them twice to get back to me with a refund or with and resolution they ignored me and never responded. Do not use business with Constant Contact, while their email marketing services are very good their Sales **** are unethical and will say anything for a sale and their billing is horrendous!!       They take money out your account without authorization and they say they will refund and they will Investigate. I have a $6.60 account / per month. They have in authorized chargers me June 12 6.60, June 13 $66, July 16th $66, July 22nd $22, July 12th 6.60, Aug 21 $12, I have been calling and have recording of false promises and that they would refund my account for all the unauthorized over charges and they keep falling short. I have over 20 people that similiar over chargers have happen.

      Can't get them to stop sending me emails. I've unsubscribed. I've done everything I can do and they just worked their way around everything. Please make them stop

      Constant Contact is billing for services they do not provide!!One month in 2024 my contacts hit 2513 subscribers and my monthly charge increased $25 per month that month and the following FOUR months, even though, every month I monitor my contact to KEEP SUBSCRIBER NUMBERS UNDER 2500 (according to the plan I can afford). For the following FOUR months I was charged for 2500+ subscribers even though I was well under 2500.I called to complain and they would not credit my account even though the subscriber numbers are recorded and searchable in my account, again well under 2500 subscribers!With CC you cannot downgrade your plan once it increases. I had to call and wait on hold for 45 min + before I was able to get my billing changed to the appropriate monthly charge and argue with the representative.I was also told I could only do this by calling in (not online) and ONLY ONE A ONE TIME COURTESY. This policy is fraudulent, think twice about paying for Constant Contact services!!

      The company did a great job luring us back in. We stopped using it back in October and then decided to give it a try this past February. BIG MISTAKE!!! After we signed up again we were informed that the email list we had been using for years up to this past October was not allowed any longer. We then contacted the bank to dispute the charge. Shortly after we were contacted by a representative from Constant Contact who told us we could use the list, so we cancelled the dispute. About a month later without ever having sent an email we were informed again that the email list was not usable and that we would get a refund. We never received a refund and initiated a dispute with the bank, which Constant Contact fought, and we just learned the bank sided with Constant Contact. We are going to continue disputing this charge but wanted the world to know how Constant Contact operates.

      I am constantly receiving emails that i have never signed up for. I have unsubscribed from hundreds of constant contact emails but am continuously signed up for new ones.

      Lots of long-standing bugs that "support" says they are aware of, but they do nothing to fix, so the problems just keep piling up and piling up with no signs of relief. This has been going on for years, but over the past year, the number of errors and glitches have really ramped up (notice the dates on the complaints here). The only "advice" you'll get from "support" is to "clear your cache and cookies and restart the browser", every, single, time. Their "support" is a sad joke and the platform has become near unusable.
