      My consultation for blind installation initial quote was 8K, which reduced to ~6K. I gave 50% down pay, which I did think was unreasonable but really had no other price to compare. Beltway’s process was to confirm every order with another visit from the QA guy who re-measured everything prior to ordering. He took another week to come out and found irregularities that he indicated would need addressing with Corporate before he could confirm the order. I waited for the call and even attempted to contact the office. Weeks passed, corporate never called. And I grew weary and tired of waiting thinking no ordering would occur until someone contacted me.. When I finally was able to reach someone in late September, I requested to cancel. After making the request to cancel, then I begin getting all sort of scheduling call to which I said how is that possible when I was told the order could not be submitted until every item was confirmed. I also was threaten with collection at which I emphasized my concern with their professionalism to threaten collections before they had even delivered the product or installation and after so many weeks delay. After my dissatisfaction with the company, I decided to price compare with a competitor with a better business rating. When they visited, I needed only on measuring and the work was completed. I received an estimate for the same exact order and was also told the product was a higher quality than the San Clemente that Beltway quoted . The competitors total price came in almost 3K lower. Although the reason Beltway provided they could not refunded seemed to contradict their QA process, I am not surprise they would be comfortable keeping a consumer's down payment they did not earn. Based on their communicated process for not ordering before confirmation, Beltway also threatened legal action to recover final payment. If anyone has any advise or experience with how to deal with this horrific situation , your feedback is appreciated.

      Considering your Donovan told me, after his WA, that my order could not be completed until I made contact with the company to resolve discrepancies in the order that were never resolved and you proceeded to order my custom blinds without resolving those discrepancies with me not notified me that you had resolved them with out me, I requested cancellation as I do not wish to do business with a company that would operate unethical.

      Terrible!!! They purport to provide custom made products and when installed nothing fits properly. I had shutters installed in my master bedroom bath and there are gaps at the bottom and top between the windowsill(s) and the shutter. With Beltway Blinds agreement, I withheld $1,000 from the final payment pending correction of this issue. Quality control came out and were not able to fix to my satisfaction and I asked that if it can't be resolved that I work with a design technician to purchase something else.
      Separate issue from this, I purchased at the same time of the shutters for the MBR bathroom window, wooden blinds for the sunroom French door. I specifically asked that the tilt wands be on the outside of the doors. One on the left, the other on the right. I received the blinds with both tilt wands on the left. I took a picture and sent this message via text to my design consultant " Why would I want the opening apparatus in the middle of my French door instead of both of them being on the ends" He responded and took full responsibility for his error and ordered me a new blind which was installed on Oct 4, 2023. The installer asked for the $1,000 balance remaining and I told him that the issue was not resolved with respect to the MBR shutters and the balance due would be paid once that issue is resolved. I received my credit card bill today and Beltway Blinds arbitrarily and without my permission charged my credit card that they apparently kept on file for $1,000. I am livid!!!!!!. I cancelled the card and notified the credit card company of the unauthorized charge.

      HORRIBLE!! Not a low enough rating for this company!
      This company was my 3rd estimate for companies I reviewed. I chose them because they matched and even lowered the price of the 2nd company I reviewed. The sales girl was amazing! knowledgeable and personable. I ordered shutters for french doors, a kitchen window and a small long side window. $1800 dollars in total. They came out and measured 2x - once from the sales person, and then a second appointment just before the blinds were officially manufactured.
      I did this in JANUARY! I waited over a month for them to be manufactured.
      February was install. WRONG SIZE! The kitchen shutters wouldn't close. The french doors wouldn't close properly, door was warped. Ordered a new door. Next install, new door damaged. Again, ordered another door. New kitchen shutters, AGAIN, didn't fit - exactly like first installed.
      Now flash forward to SEPTEMBER, appointment last week, new kitchen shutters - finally fit, because a different brand. They didn't bring replacement french door shutter. Again, waiting BLINDS TO CALL ME AND SCHEDULE INSTALL APPOINTMENT.

      Told they would accommodate me, at this point, they owe me for every time I have taken off of work to wait for them......Literally, it's been 9 months with these people!
      French door arrived along with 2 tall boxes. Still no call about install appointment.

      We opened the tall boxes today, only to find out that the tall boxes contain someone else's blinds!!!
      The way I see it, THEY OWE ME! Called today to get someone to install, got their answering service, which happens often. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

      $$$$$$Plantation Shutters:

      Save your time, energy, and money! Presentation was awesome after the deposit was solidified, the service was cat and mouse in addition to, charging my card completely before, the job was completed, the initial installation; the Installer was the Manager and a trainee, excessive holes (trainee) were made around the window, and caulk was left on the floor for me to clean up. Needless to say, the install was incomplete because the second set of measurements were wrong, I reached out to the Project Manager constantly, leaving voicemails to no avail, she's no longer with the company, there was no communication, nor have I been informed that she was no longer with the company, until 3 months later. Two/Three/Four months later I received a call saying my order was on Cargo?? The new Project Manager is evasive as well...Finally, nearly a year the installation takes place the installer, installed a cracked frame, also, 3 of the 9 are discolored in which I identified the day after, the final installation. I contacted the Project Manager, and her conversation was as smooth and promising as the Sales Rep, The Lifetime warranty (fluff), no value whatsoever, I've spent Thousands of dollars (9 Windows with Plantation Shutters), the customer service and the service of the manager and the project manager is terrible. I am bothered by the lack of communication, the advancement of charging my card because they had it on file, as well as the evasiveness of the manager, project manager, sales rep. and the finance rep. No one can provide me with answers, Alan, Shaunette (?), Tyrus, and Sade however, they're paid in full. I am very interested in knowing how this company operates " financially" especially, because my card was charged completely, before the job was completed!!

      Excellent customer service. The design team is very knowledgeable and helpful. The customer service rep. and the installation team are wonderful to work with. They keep you up-to-date on your work order and installation is a breeze. Would use them over any other company offering blinds/shutters.

      I had my consultation with them Jan 14, 2023 and was excited to get some window treatments up. It took until March 8th for someone to arrive to put them up. This was after two canceled appointments (Feb 23 and 27). Notification of the cancellation didn't come until the morning of while waiting for them to arrive. After the installer put up the shades I let him know that one of the shades were higher than the other. He just looked at me. I asked am I supposed to just look at it like that? He said that's where it was measured. So the office set another appointment for someone else to come out and after two more cancellations (March 28 & April 14) on April 25 someone else came out and said that they needed to reorder the shade because if they raise it, there wouldn't be enough material at the bottom to reach the windowsill. I said ok. Since then, I have called back and gotten several excuses and now they will not come back to fix the issue because they said it's the window that was built incorrectly not the shades. So after paying over $3000 I now have to take down the window treatments and pay again to have them done correctly. By the way, the house was just built and I just moved in December 20, 2022 but I guess they couldn't get one window right and it took ordering some shades from Beltway to figure that out.

      The first contract of 22 window shades were installed great but the second contract for my sunroom was the opposite.
      I really don’t know what the problem is with the production manager to return 3 calls about completing the installation of my roller shades. He and an installer came to my home over 2 months ago to view the crooked installation of 3 of my roller shades, , no shade on one window and a request to change from the -lactic chains to metal chains. He told me that the corrections would be made and they will change the chains from plastic to metal. I had expected a phone call to let me know when they would be coming, but never got a call. When I called two days ago 04/17/23, I was told that the plastic chains could not be changed due to the clutch. I have Alta roller shades so I called Alta who is the manufacturer of the shades. They pulled up my manufacturer sales order and told me that the plastic chains could easily be switched out and replaced with the metal chains using the same clutch. It appears that Wayne, the production manager did not want to live up to his commitment and told me something that was not true. If the company that makes these roller shades Alta tells me the chain can be switched, why is the production manager telling me something different. I think that Wayne did not know that I would contact Alta to verify what he told me.

      They also put a sign in my yard which I removed which stated
      ‘’ 100% ECSTATIC! Beltway Blinds. REALLY!! SERIOUSLY!
      I will continue to try to contact the production manager because what has transpired is totally unacceptable.

      BUYER BEWARE!!!
      The customer service after installation is much to be desired. The motto" how can I make you smile today" has to be the biggest joke I have heard this year. Each time I hang up the phone with the office I am ANGRY!!!
      I have been waiting 5 months for a missing piece to complete my installation. I have taken off 3 times and they have not shown all 3 times. I have called them repeatedly and each time it is a different story. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

      We started the process of a visit with a salesrep on August 24, 2022. Since then we have been put off numerous times regarding installation. September 7th was a re-measure by Ryder. The first time arrival for install was September 28th. The blinds did not fit and a new measurement was needed. Another rep was sent for re-measure on October 21 (Donovan). December 16th Donovan came for install. The measurements he took in October were changed (in green ink) on the order. He didn't know who changed his measurements. The blinds did not fit. Donovan adjusted the two outer blinds to fit and remeasured the center blind again to be ordered. During this time, with numerous calls to talk to a mgr., we never talked to or received a call back from a manager. We were told by Donovan that we would receive a call from a manager on Monday 12-19-22. Never got a call.
      12-21-22 we called and talked to Tyrus. Nice guy who said he made sure the owner would call us. Never received a call from a manager or owner. January 4, 2023 we called talked to Tyrus. We were told the order should be received by January 6 or 9th, 2023. He would call on the 9th to schedule an install date. No Call.
      We called today and the answering service took our message and said we'd receive a return call from them. No Call as of 1:15 Tuesday January 10, 2023.
      We now have two blinds installed on the outer two windows of our three window unit. We are awaiting the 3rd blind for the middle window. We gave a deposit of $341.50 with a balance due of $341.50.
      During this entire process we did rescheduled due to a funeral. However, This does not negate the extended inconveniences and mistakes made by this company. We are hopeful that the final blind install will occur within the next week. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVER!
      If this install does not happen, I presume legal action will have to be initiated against this company. Respectfully, Michael S. Pasadena, Maryland
