      Requested my data be deleted and was promptly denied over the phone. I closed my account and was no longer doing business with the bank yet they cited their 7 year data storage policy as sufficient. I escalated and was promised an email follow up same day. Never received an email and have yet to hear back after further escalation.
      Read the reviews, customer service is poor and untrained. I urge you to look elsewhere for better privacy and security of your information.

      I tried to transfer my fund from Forbright growth savings to my ***** checking before closing the account. It has been more than 3 weeks and they still refuse to transfer my money even I gave them the ********** statement as requested. I also have my ********** representative talking to them on the phone. I dont why I can transfer fund from ********** to their bank, but cannot transfer back in the same account ?I lost my opportunity to invest for something else because of their delay.They ask if I want a check, they will forfeit all my interest.This is saving account, not cd, and I dont get any bonus to open this account.None of banker explained clearly and keep asking me to send other bank statements and I did. Still nothing is ********* I need my lawyer to help me out for this?

      I opened an account for my grandson, who is in another state, so he would have money, when needed. It took me days to link my account in ** to ********. No where, did I read that I needed to make a savings account as well. Once I got my deposit made, they closed the account the next day! Because I hadn't added money to the savings account. So now I have to find another bank and start over...in a hurry, because my grandson, needs money to eat.! Plus I had been in the hospital. I was sent an email, giving me 2 days to deposit into savings. 2 days!! Thank you forbright for not even giving me a chance to add money. Or considering that something could happen. You do realize ************** and ************** was destroyed, right???

      This bank is great! I don't understand the people who left bad reviews, their complaints are unrelatable. Bank actions have been executed in a timely way as expected, no delays or issues, and the customer service is good, too. Five stars, each one earned. Would move my money out if I found a better rate, but otherwise, it seems good for now to park it here.

      Do not put your money into an account in this bank. Deposits are easy, withdrawals are next to impossible. They are the worst at customer service.

      I will never use Forbright Bank for a CD again. You are not allowed to transfer funds externally when your CD matures but must instead call customer service. You then have a long phone wait. When I got through, I had a nice phone rep who told me I needed to fill out a docusign form which she emailed me and it would take 3 to 4 days after receiving the signed form. Four business days later still no transfer of funds, so I call customer service again and they tell me my form was received but not processed and now it will take another 3 days to transfer my small $5,000 CD. I am glad I did a test run on a small CD before placing more money in this bank.

      Terrible! A CD matured at ************** and I gave them specific instructions using a Forbright bank form to transfer the money into another Forbright account. ********************** then proceeded to make an incorrect transfer to a different account altogether! The end result was that the transaction never went through. And because the bank has a 3 day waiting period every time a transfer takes place, I ended up losing nearly two weeks of interest. I then followed up and Investigated with the bank, who then reviewed the Forbank form. It was conclusive evidence that they screwed up. Forbright bank called it human error. And I lost 2 weeks of interest on my C.D that had matured in which I attempted to transfer it out to another account. It's the second time it happened. Now I simply use their high growth savings. And when they become no longer competitive, I will no longer bank with this company.

      I opened a joint account with my husband. The bank did not recognize his password and didn't even see him as the joint owner of the account. I attempted to add him to the account but there was a technical issue that wouldn't allow him to sign on We called numerous times and were told that the issue was sent to the technical division and they would call. No call. This is after spending a long time each time being placed on hold. Next day same issue, We ask to speak to a supervisor and were told that we would get a call back. No one ever called. Their customer service is horrible. A week later, after not resolving the issue that my husband was unable to access his account, I moved my money out and called to close the account. Now I was told that just today they fixed the problem. I no longer trust this bank and it was too little too late. This time I got a call back.

      Trying to close my account, Ive been on the phone for 30+ minutes, trying to return a message from the bank and trying to explain to the employee that my old bank is closed for two weeks now And was hung up on by the employee. I am trying to close my account and have ********************** to send my balance to my new bank. I have given the bank my new account number and routing number to send my balance to the new bank..
