      Dealing with their claims department is a fate I wish on no one. They are inept at best and possibly purposefully derelict in their processing. Never reading the police report then drawing conclusions contradicting both parties and the investigator. Fortunately, not a terribly high dollar claim or litigation would surely have ensued. Adjusters are lazy and obstinate, avoid this second rate company when it comes to trusting your insurance needs.

      Our vehicle was struck by one of Geico Insurance client. We as well as the vehicle owner filed a claim all data requested to their online claims. After a week of not hearing back from Geico we called. We were told it would be 6 to 8 weeks for an adjuster to review. This is totally a scam and means to delay a claim. While speaking to their representative she had the audacity to advise that it was due to hurricane Ian. Lol, the claim was filed well prior to the hurricane. Then the run around begin at Geico that a supervisor would call us back. All the while delaying repairs to our vehicle that is need to make a living. Guessing it is time to call the Ohio Insurance Commission and file a formal complaint as well as hiring an attorney for a non fault accident because of the run around. Just another example how consumers are not priorities but truly victim's of unethical and deceptive insurance companies permitted to continue to operate and carry on with no accountability by our government leadership.

      It's unbelievable how you have to wait for a refund check for a policy that was canceled back in April and every time you call they give you the run around. Check the mail..... it's on its way. ... maybe we have the wrong address and everytime they tell you to wait another month and another month.

      Pay attention to your statements when calling about additions! If you don't they will amend your account withOUT permission, they feel it's OK to leave a message on vm abt your account as they do whatever without talking to the customer regarding amendment. You won't know until you get your bill! When caught, it's OH we can take it off like it never happened. Great but what if your bill is on autopay? If you don't catch it, the beast is yours to fix and they will NOT be as quick to fix the problem as they were to create it!

      if you have Gieco? LEAVE! 30% increase on my policy and all they said when i called was that "inflation" was the issue. A multi-billion dollar PROFIT company wants to make sure they can "recoup" any costs in case a payout needs to be made due to inflation and supply chain issues. This is a scam and a price hike without any concrete numbers on WHY is absurd. If you want to change policy cost, they should have to break down the reason for the increase with real numbers. Not just raise it an arbitrary amount that they say "trust us we did the math".

      I just received the bill and they are increasing my policy 40%, no accidents, no tickets, no warnings, I will deal with them tomorrow, is time to move forward to different company after 10+ years with them and will follow up to let you know what was their excuse, because my salary hasn't increase over 3% how in hell they think that they can increase my policy 40% and I will stay with them.

      I have been with Geico for over 8 years now. I have had multiple vehicles with them and unfortunately did not deal with their claims until recently. Long story short I need a windshield replacement and called to find out the details if I need to file a claim, what that would look like, and what they would cover. They would NOT talk to me unless I started filing a claim; I don't know if this is what all insurance company's are like but a simple "should I start a claim if my deductible is higher than the replacement" question is too complicated for them to answer unless they put a permanent mark on my history.

      They told me they were gonna bundle my home and auto so I agreed to it. The lady on the phone took my bank info and then told me i didn’t qualify for auto. I told her to cancel the everything and they still took money out of my account. Now I’m out months premium and every time I call to get the refund they give me different answers. Worst company ever.
