      I received a text stating my account was going to be charged for 189.31. I called and I was told that amount was due because my daughter had her driver's license.The month before she had to download the mobile app and take her picture of her driver's permit she renewed them. I called them and submitted the information again. I called back to postpone payment and the representative said she would stop it. She made a note of it. The next day Geico took the money out. Therefore, my account was overdrawn by 212.42. I reported it and I was told that I would be seeing it. I never did. I spoke with a supervisor and he said the 356.00 credit was applied to the account. I asked him about the payment collected from my account he told me that was collected for payments and I would receive a call from manager. I never did. Geico never refunded my money. Therefore,I had to pay these fees. I would like to be reimbursed for my money and fees.

      So far I have been told I didn't make the 63.54 payment- that is why my new policy canceled- Also that my policy canceled on the 28th Also that my new policy was canceled for non-payment of the new amount that included the old balance due of the 63.54 that I HAD PAID and WILL PROVE WITH GEICOS OWN HISTORY! you also told me there is a 15 day grace period that had NOT YET PASSED for me to have paid my new policy!!! Therefore, it should NOT have Been Cancelled for non-payment! Because my account had been caught up for the previous policy payment of 63.54 and the grace period for the new policy had not yet passed!
      It shows IN MY BANK STATEMENT the payment I made on 8/9 of $63.54 ( to cover the payment not made after a double payment was disputed on july 26th. )YOUR HISTORY SHOWS MY CARD WAS DECLINED 8/9 YET...my bank shows it cleared YOUR HISTORY ALSO SHOWS MY POLICY WAS NOT CANCELED UNTIL the 8th @ midnight yet your telling me it cancelled a different date... you've also told me it was due to not paying the old balance of 63.54 which I did! Otherwise would not have been able to dispute it AGAIN TODAY since you claim no payment was received!
      how about choose ONE story and stick with it!

      I have Geico car policy and I was hit on 07/12/2022 by someone who took off and I followed them got there license plate number and I followed them pulled on the side of him and let him know that thety hit me and he said oh sorry Geico has been giving me the run around since July they told me that the person has Geico Insurance then they said no the person didn't have Geico Insurance then they said they found the insurance so now it's Geico on Geico and now no one from GEICO has gotten back to me about doing repairs to my vehicle and now they're saying that the person said that there was never involved in a hitting run but this happened in July and we're now going into October I'm quite sure they got their car fixed by now but I'm still the one without getting my car fixed and Geico has did nothing to help me but give me the run around with all kinds of lies on top off that I have a police report the day it happen.

      This is the end of Geico. As a loyal customer of 14 years, they are longer have the cheapest rates. The increase to my policy was unwarranted and ridiculous. No accidents, no tickets nothing in the past 14 years but a near 20% increase because of "inflation" is complete crap. Many of Geico's competitors are less expensive now. I'm switching to Progressive which offered me a rate 20% lower than Geico's. It is a shame that Geico is doing absolutely nothing for long-term customer retention. This is exactly how NOT to treat long-term customers. Look at all these 1 start ratings on here.

      After years of being with GEICO, they cancelled our policy without telling us! They of course said they sent notice in the mail, but had no answer as to why we had no emails or texts as those were our regular form of communication. Also no phone calls. We also get emails of what's in our mail for each day, and there was never any such letter.
      Apparently here's what we did wrong, because we have never had accidents or even tickets. We simply added our teenage daughter to the policy. A straight A college student with no accidents or tickets. The customer service agent said GEICO didn't want to take on that risk. You couldn't ask for a better "risk" for a young driver. Oh and she's had her license for over a year and a half!
      I heard from the agent that this has happened to so many Geico customers too. She said a lot of her day is spent being yelled at by angry ex-customers! I didn't yell at her. I know the problem is much higher than her.
      Maybe Geico is experiencing problems with too many young drivers. I don't know. But the whole thing seems like negligence to me. From whatever reason they used to drop us to the way they did it. I'm sure their lawyers and lobbyists have found the proper loopholes to put them in the clear, but they are a shady business that hates their customers. I don't know what else to say, except there's no way I would ever go back, and no way I could ever recommend anyone use their insurance. What a fraud!

      After reading other people reviews it looks like lying has become customary practice for GEICO.
      Before I was supposed to renew my insurance policy I called GEICO and I was told my 6 month premium will be $1,287.31 which I had accepted and payed on Sept 14th 2022.
      On Sept 24th I have received an email saying I owe additional $150 and some change.
      I called GEICO and referred to conversation where I was promised different price and they still didn’t acknowledge it.
      Instead they have “helped me save “ $20 something dollars and told me that’s the best I can do unless I store one of the vehicles and take off insurance of it overall. Smart.
      Well GEICO you’ve just got soon to be ex customer who’s gonna spread the word around.

      I would leave zero stars but can’t. I was in an accident with another Geico insured person. I had pics of my car, the persons car, the other persons DL, and a pic of their insurance. No police report could be filed bc the police said if no one was injured they weren’t going to come out. Geico is denying the claim bc there’s no proof of an accident. They could not get a hold of the person that hit me. So I asked if I hit someone and Geico is the other person’s insurance and can’t get ahold of me, I’m good I’m at no fault? And the rep said yes basically. Okay good to know. If you hit someone and you have Geico if you just don’t answer the phone to make a statement to them, you’re not at fault and nothing will happen to you. No consequences for hitting someone’s car!

      Today we descover the disaster cover can protect from all relates a disaster situation. I pay over 6 year( any claim) all my insurences car, renter and disaster but when i call today to be sure about hurracan is coming they told my insurance do not cover water damage. I try to understand WHAT KIND of HURRACAINE come whothout water? Is not a tornado, is not a wind fenomenon, in my life Hurracaine comes whith water, winds , thunder storm and lightning hoy they can pick a few or one of this to cover or not?. That is ridiculus we pay por cover do not cover im disapointed confuse, mad an looking for answer because the want to add a other insurance for flood but the don't have price because that cover by FEMA ha ha yes they try add and charge that coverage provide by FEMA NO BY THEM. Now im confuse, lost and stillf with my regular insurance until the can figure out what things cover and how flood insurance cost and function.

      I have been looking for quotes on home and auto policies for the year and got several quotes from other companies. I saw geico advertising can save up to 30 % on insurance so I called. They quoted over 3500 dollars more than every company so I called corporate. I tried to ask the first time and got hung up on. Finally spoke to another person to ask why and they said my area wasn’t apart of their commercial. I asked even if that is true how could they be so much more. That’s when the geico employee said we base it off travelers numbers. I said I have a quote from travelers that is 3000 dollars cheaper and he didn’t respond. So the fact is I geico uses travelers for insurance. They don’t provide it. They then double the price but advertising they can save 30%. But when you call travelers your quote is half. Geico is lying and charging double what travelers does and doesn’t even provide the insurance. This should be illegal and fals advertising
