      I started a new auto insurance policy on 6/10/22 due to my 17 year old son now having a driver's license and was looking for a better policy to include him on. Geico quoted me a price of $139.30/ month for insurance on our two vehicles. Both fully covered, accident forgiveness, rental car coverage, etc for myself, wife, and son. I went over everything with the agent several times to confirm all information was correct. About a month later I got a letter concerning my son not being licensed and living with us. I called Geico and was told it was in error as they show him being a licensed driver as of policy start date and disregard the letter. Now on 9/12/22 I get a letter stating the are tripling my premium due to my son not being a licensed driver until 9/03/22. Again I call and am told the dmv didn't notify Geico of his license date until 9/03/22. They ran my son's info in June, July, and August. Now magically it shows as a licensed driver instead of a permit driver. They said when the ran info in August, it then showed him being licensed but it takes a few weeks to update the info in Geicos system. This company is a total rip-off! Quotes you low rates then raises them exponentially soon after. Do NOT use this company! You'll regret it.

      They've had my car for a month at RxCollision and both companies aren't even on the same page. No communication with me and I've had to call around every week just for vague answers. Talking to the claims Supervisor Lee doesn't help and all I got was a sorry smh. It's been a month now and I'm starting to have to stretch every dollar now with no real date to get my car back

      Con artists. Was T-boned by a Geico insured motorist and had to involve a lawyer to do something as simple as have Geico cover the cost of repairs to my vehicle and the costs of my rental car. Took 6 months from the date of the accident and the interjection of a lawyer to resolve the whole ordeal. If this was the last insurance company on earth I would take my only means of transportation being a bike with two flat tires over giving them a dollar for lifetime policy.

      Listen to everyone - Don't do it. They CONTINUE to raise prices saying "repair costs, medical costs, etc". Not only are they RUDE, but I have never filed a claim nor needed medical costs. Clean driving records - SO WHY am I paying for other people's issues. STOP RAISING PRICES. Ours continues to rise this time another $35. They are very unhelpful for someone who has not needed their assistance. Find someone else - do not go with these unfriendly scammers. Do not buy into the "name".

      I’ve been with GEICO for years. My truck was stolen about a month and a half ago while I was out of town for a funeral. When I returned home and found out I immediately called and told them. I talked with an adjuster and he told me not to worry and they’ll handle it. A month later they call me and tell me I have to retrieve my vehicle which is not driveable from the tow yard and pay a large balance and then tells me it’s my fault that the fees are so high. And now they won’t answer nor call me back

      Geico is the worst insurance company ever! I had an accident, I was not at fault. I sustained a neck injury but the company's so-called attorney would not give the necessary funding for the surgery. Plus the attorney was in cahoots with another attorney that was supposed to be helping me.
      After much time I heard nothing back from Geico and they didn't pay for the surgery
      I had to pay out of pocket. The sad thing is that Geico recorded a conversation when I was loopy with medication after I was released from the hospital. This was my first vehicle accident and Geico lies about taking care of their clients. I believe that they discriminate and are biased.

      I am 64 years old man and was customer of Geico Auto Insurance from approximately 2009 till MAY 2022. I had been receiving calls from other Insurance Carrier to Switch for Lower rates, but I didn’t Switch, because when I would call GEICO, they would say to me that my current Auto Insurance rate was the Lowest in the Insurance Industry, and if I was to switch to other company, after short while they will Increase my Premiums. This continued for some time and GEICO continued to make FOOL out of me by CHEATING, LYING DECEIVING me, that GEICO has the LOWEST AUTO RATES. I made Final Call to them that I have written quote from their Competitor and I was going to Switch, they did not care, rather send my balance to COLLECTION AGENCY.
      GEICO did UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT out of my Checking Account
      I want to hold GEICO Insurance Liable for DECEPTIVE PRATCICES. They should be BANNED from State of Georgia.
      I have done Research about Complaints against GEICO, and found Hundreds of Complaints on BBB & Consumer Affairs. My Request is that the Ga Office of Insurance must hold GEICO responsible for UNFAIR & DECEPTIVE & PREDATORY Insurance Practices. They ABUSE ELDERLY / SENIORS like myself who live on Limited Income.
      $971 every 6 months vs $530 with PROGRESSIVE INS.

      Geico is horrible!!!! They don’t honor their policy or customer request !!! For four years I was their Customer in “good standing”, which only means that I paid my premium on time.
      Recently, a truck hit my car and I filed a claim. It took a week to have an inspector do the damage assessment and an additional week for them to connect me with a repair service.
      When I took the car for repairs, the claim adjuster made no provision for a rental, although it was included in my policy. After I canceled my policy with Geico, I asked that my refund be put back on my debit card. Geico assured me that there wasn’t a problem with my request.
      Two weeks later and still haven’t received the refund. When I called Geico to find out why I hadn’t received the refund as requested, I was told that the funds couldn’t be placed back on the debit card. And this is the same card used to make my monthly payment. The card is a VISA card, not some off-brand company!!!! Now I have to wait, possibly, an additional 14 days to get a check in the mail.
      Geico is the worst company I have ever done business with!!!! I would not recommend them to insure a Big Wheel!! This company is the pits!!!! And a 1-star rating is giving them too much credit.

      GEICO is simply an organization of crooks. There to take your money, not cover your vehicle when policy allows for it, give you no legitimate answers to your questions, and continue to be rude a**holes in the duration of the process. Will never recommend to anybody. This company should cease to exist!

      Well Geico really screwed my daughter over with her car insurance. She had a wreck back in June. They were suppose to pay the car off to GMC and send the balance to her. But instead they sent all the money to GMC, which we know how they work. She probably will not get the money owed to her till one or two years if so. Geico really screw her over, now she cannot even go and get another car cause GMC has her down payment. Thank you so much Geico for messing up her life.
