      Increased policy by additional 200$ for 6 months with no notice or care. Horrible customer service as they blame your state went they increased.

      Geico is the ABSOLUTE WORST excuse of an insurance company EVER! If I could give negative stars on this review, I would in a heartbeat. I was driving on a Friday night out of state to visit my brother who was going to be deployed shortly after my visit. I was 5 hours from home where I was hit at a red light by a semi truck and two other cars were also involved. The accident was a not at fault accident and the at fault party’s insurance was only open Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00. This happened after 5:00 on Friday. I needed a rental since I was in the middle of nowhere so I decided to go through my insurance which was unfortunately Geico. After spending 3 hours trying to get ahold of Geico, I finally got a representative. I was informed that the phone system was down in claims that day and that’s why it took so long. I was assured that going through Geico would be a painless process and they could get me a rental first thing in the morning. This was going to be the start of a nightmare that I wished I could wake up from. Geico continuously treated me horribly and never properly handled my claim. I paid for the towing on my vehicle from out of state to my hometown. I paid for my rental. My vehicle is STILL not fixed properly and it’s been over 4 months and counting. I’ve been disrespected by numerous agents including the regional manager of the claims department, the claims adjuster, and the claim adjusters manager. Geico deemed parts on my vehicle not “necessary” to replace. When in reality, your vehicle is supposed to be restored closest to your original state. The most horrible part is that absolutely NO collision centers in my city want to deal with Geico. So I couldn’t tow my vehicle to most of the shops in my area because they do not want to do business with Geico. I have multiple recordings from Geico representatives that would blow your mind. I have recordings from the collision centers in my area stating that they will not do business with Geico. Geico is a joke!

      I have been a loyal customer with GEICO for over 12 years (auto) and 5 years (Home owners). Their rates have almost doubled in 12 months. NO CLAIMS, CLEAN DRIVING RECORDS, 800+ CREDIT SCORE....I get inflation and things just cost more...but doubling a rate for what feels like because they just want to. Most recently I was quoted a rate to remove a car I traded in and add a new vehicle. I was billed was about 40% more than what I was quoted. CROOKS. I called and the representivie to told me too bad. Pay it or don't. I asked to talk to a manager and was told someone would call me back as the manager was on another call....7 days later I called back because I received ZERO communications from GEICO and they refused to honor the quote (even after listening to the recorded conversation and acknowledging I was quoted X and billed for Y) giving some excuse of they misspoke. Come to find out they were over charging me for 5 years as someone did not click the "married" box. $700+ they stole from me. This company is full of frauds and crooks. BUYER BEWARE.

      I’ve been with this insurance company for the past 8 year. Recently there was a change on my policy of over $60 a month, I called the insurance, and the representative told me that all insurance has gone up and he suggested a couple of things that I could do for saving, like using the save drive, so I did, and the insurance went down from about $181 to $156 a month for 6 months. I called several times because I made the payment, but I was still seeing a due amount on the Geico application, the answer was all the time not too worried that there was something wrong in the system doing that, but they couldn’t explain why but everything was ok because I made my monthly payment. When I went in on September 6 to make my payment for September, I noticed that the policy had been cancelled I asked why and the only explanation I received from the nonfriendly customer representative was that I was missing a payment from May. I go back to my statements, and I don’t see no missing payments. I will not insure with Geico no longer it was very disappointed having your insurance cancel after 8 years of being insure by them.

      They had to service my car according to the contract since the battery died. I ordered the service through Geico around 3 pm. First, they told me that they would be in 40 minutes, then at 5:20 pm, and then at 7:00 pm, so I canceled the service and that is why I am giving this review. They also increase the cost of insurance every year.

      My car was in a minor "accident" I swerved to avoid hitting an animal but hit it anyway on the highway, which caused me to hit something on the shoulder of the throughway. Immediately I felt something wrong with the car, a half mile up the road my car broke down. It was towed to my home, found out they never gave me the rental which I requested, was stranded in Ohio for 2 days. Finally, after I got home, an inspector came out to check the vehicle, which I had already gotten an estimate for from a transmission guy. the transmission guy said that he couldn't see any damage underneath but that it is possible that whatever I hit could have damaged my transmission. Of course, after talking to the GEICO inspector, they agreed that the 200,000 miles on my vehicle were the reason my transmission went NOT the fact that I hit an animal, and then hit something on the shoulder which immediately caused the breakdown. They allowed me to pay for comprehension on my vehicle knowing full well they wouldn't pay for any issues I had. They said that having the high mileage was the reason my transmission was broken not the object I hit. They said A+B does not always =C. I will never use GEICO or any other "major" insurance companies again. These big companies act like they are there to help you but when you need them, you are the liar and they don't pay for anything.

      This Company has no remorse for human life
      I have received the worst customer service ever, after being with this company for over 6 to 7 years I never thought I would be treated in the manner I have been treated. I feel as if the company doesn’t care about the safety of me and my children. Trying to speak to someone is like pulling teeth from the mouth of an alligator. After being in two car accidents I’m now without a car and I still haven’t been taken care of properly.
      It’s very hurtful to see my money has been wasted over the years that when I need assistance I have no one I can count on with this company when I need it most. This has been a horrible 7 months for me and my family not to mention I had to return the rental after having the vehicle for 15 days and that’s not what the policy states. My car isn’t close to being repaired. Don’t use this company you will regret it if you find yourself in a life crisis.

      I feel Geico and the adjuster(s) handling my claim are not advocating for me. I am the victim but the adjusters are speaking to me like I am at fault. I paid my premium in advance for the next 6 months as a loyal customer before an ACCIDENT HAPPENED without ANY prior accidents or claims against my insurance. I might as well find another company who would appreciate my loyalty and advocate for me when I am a victim. If I have to proceed with a lawsuit because your company Geico cannot do their job then you will be added to the lawsuit and I will request attorneys fees.

      They are the worst insurance company out there they would not even give me full coverage insurance even though I'm legally allowed to drive in the United states. Shawna the manager was very rude and I would recommend to never ever get a policy with Geico they are the worst insurance company by far out of any other insurance company out there if you sign up with Geico you're making a mistake.
