I subscribed to a monthly subscription to Bally Sports. The service would not work due to their login service being down. This lasted for days so I canceled my subscription and asked for a refund. They refuse to give me a refund based on their no refund policy. I don't believe that their policy is valid due to the fact that their service never worked and I was never able to access the games that I wanted to. I would like a refund. I am not interested in 7 free days of service as they are offering. I wanted to watch a specific game and had friends over to watch it and it wouldn't work.Business Response

I purchased a "season" package with Bally Sports Network to watch ice hockey. It malfunctioned for several games in a row, including two I could simply not watch live. Contacted customer service via phone, and email, never got a reply.
After the issues, received an email stating I would get a discount with the next payment, but I paid the whole package in full. Attempted to contact on 6 other occasions and nobody replies. And the app continues to have issues almost every game.Business Response

Unbeknownst to me, Bally's Sports charged me $230 for their services. I was not made aware of this nor do I consent to such a charge. Upon reaching out to Bally's for a resolution, I was given the run around and circuitous explanations and was ultimately disconnected from their customer service and ignored altogether.Initial Complaint

Signed up for the Bally Sports+ App at a cost of $19 a month. They are the only streaming service I can legally use to watch the Carolina Hurricanes live. Repeatedly their service has been down and I have been unable to watch the games. I have tried to contact their support multiple times and it always takes to get a response. I have requested a refund and cancellation of services because they have been unable to provide the service and I have been told they do not offer refunds.Business Response

I pay $20 a month to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers on Bally Sports Ohio however I am not able to watch many of the games. Every time I attempt to watch the game I get a message that I am streaming on too many devices however I only have one device registered.
I have attempted to contact the company by text, email, and chat since they do not have an option to call them available to their customers but they do not respond.Business Response

On 10/25/23 I signed up for the Bally Sports Plus streaming service so that I could watch the Carolina Hurricanes games. While the price of $20 per month seems high as compared to other streaming services, I decided to go this route rather than pay for cable. I was enjoying my 7 day free trial until the final day when the streaming service/Bally app would not work at all. After looking online, I realized that this was actually the 2nd night of a nationwide outage for the app, which conveniently stopped working right at game time. After fighting to get it to work all night with no success and extreme frustration, I went to bed. The next day, everything was working fine, and I was able to watch the replay of the game. Not ideal, but at least I could see it.
Fast forward to the next day, Thursday 11/2 - was able to watch the pregame show, and then once again, at game time, the app stops working. Now I am paying for the service, so even more upsetting than 2 nights before. I was eventually able to get in and see the end of the 3rd period.
After being able to watch the next 2 games with no problems, I am now experiencing the same issue…. pregame show works fine and then we cannot watch the game. When I finally do get the game to come on, after about 30 seconds, we get an error indicating that there are too many streams in the account right now. We are only watching the game on one tv and nothing else.
At this point, I am done with Bally Sports Plus. I am going to now have to sign a contract for Directv in order to get reliable access to the games. I am expecting a full refund from Bally Sports Plus - $20 a month is a bit excessive considering I have had issues watching more than half of the games that have aired since I signed up and I completely lost 1 day of my free trial.Business Response

This is a sports streaming app that holds the exclusive market for local sports. They know about the three strikes rule and had 2 games in a row where their service “crashed” at the exact start of a game, making it so no one was able to watch. I am having problems being able to access the Ballys Sports app to watch Lightning games. I switched my carrier from ******** to ******* thinking I could use the app to get most of the games. I have had nothing but problems and now I cannot sign in. I want to switch to a service that includes Lightning games but it will be a big hassle and added cost. I think I should be reimbursed for this trouble. One other thing you can only communicate with Ballys via email. So it takes time to resolve an issue. I love watching the Lightning but this company (Ballys) is an F. I listed below I paid Ballys $45 but I have also paid ******* and ******* $110 per month for the last 3 months. I subscribed to BallySports on October 20 to watch a **************** game. I have not been able to get the service to work It has my ZIP Code incorrect and will only show me New Orleans games. I have contacted them numerous times via chat, text, email and lastly calling in and Staying on hold for 45 minutes. To this point, no one will give me any information. They just keep telling me its fixed and yet it hasnt changed at all. I have asked for my money to be refunded, but no one will respond. I have already missed four games that started the season for the ***********. I am having to buy a different streaming service in order to watch them after paying to do this in BallySports.
