      Gutter Helmet advertises that one need not EVER clean their gutters again! well ... My gutters were clogged with debris so I called Gutter Helmet - and after 2 weeks of trying to get through and leaving messages, someone finally called me back - they sent a tech out to clean my gutters - and the tech told me the gutters should be cleaned every 2 years! So much for truth in advertising! It is now just over 2 years and - after m,ore than a week of leaving messages! - I got someone on the phone - she told me she needed my credit card so she could charge me $50 for a "dispatch" fee to have a tech come out - and I should hear in about 3 weeks from "scheduling" - so much for "triple lifetime warranty" - this is basically bait and switch! So - here I am with a costly "no maintenance" system that needs to be maintained every 2 years for a "dispatch" fee of $50 - somehow this doesn't sound right to me!

      Gutter Helment is a wonderful company. I have two homes and I’ve used them for both. To not have to worry from season to season about leaves and debris is one stress off my mind. After several years I’ve had to have tree sap removed, which they were only a free call away. One house had to bird nest under the Helment and again they were only one free call away to come and remove the nests. I highly recommend the product and on going service they provide.

      The product works excellently, even with fir needles. Installer was excellent. I am completely satisfied and happy with the product and installation.

      Gutter Helmet advertises that you will never need to clean their gutters. But they DO need cleaning occasionally. In the past, they would send someone to clean them out at no charge. I called them infrequently. Now they want $50 to come out. They should not be allowed to advertise falsely! Also, when it is very cold and wet, the gutters form huge icicles that hang down from the gutters which can be dangerous if they fall on a person or a car.
      If you are looking for maintenance free gutters, do not buy this product!

      The manufacture's warranty states that your gutters will remain free flowing and if any debris does get into the gutters they will be cleaned out free of charge. The cleaning of the gutter helmet and roofing around the gutter helmet is not part of the warranty. The $50.00 dispatch fee is only to dispatch a crew to your location. If your issue is warranty related there are no additional fees to preform warranty related  work.

      I am running into same issue few others have highlighted. I bought mine through ****** with assurance "Never Clean Your Gutter Again" in 2019. I still have the folder, and paper work with never clean written all over. With this warranty, we went ahead to pay exuberant amount of money to install Harry Helmet. The very first year they clogged. I called in to complain about clog. They sent in technician to clean. It turned out these gutters are badly designed, and for Seattle weather they work as ordinary gutters with yearly gutter cleaning service. They are clogged again, and I have been calling for last one month with no result. They promised to send inspection person, but no one showed up at schedule time. They have so many 800 numbers, which makes it semi scam. Every time I call, they take info from start and forward me to a new number.

      I bought the Gutter Helmet system in October 2020. My contract states that they will return 2 times a year to blow off the roof and valleys of any debris at no charge. They had been doing this until I called the other day and they told me that the dealer I bought from is no longer in business and they are my warranty provider now, and they said they do not have to honor the previous dealer's contract. They said they do not blow off roofs and also said there would be a $50 fee to come out for maintenance. I could never recommend this company to anyone. What company does not honor a previous contract that they inherited? I am giving 1 star because I have to select a star rating, otherwise it would be 0 stars.

      We are not the company that you contracted with. We are the new dealer for your area and have an agreement with the manufacturer to honor the manufactures warranty. Any agreements or warranties that you had with the previous dealer are not our responsibility. If you have a warranty claim for the existing system installed by the previous dealer please contact our office and we will dispatch a tech to review your issue.

      My Gutter Helmet was installed in 2016, after a salesperson guarantied the system would prevent pine tree leaf from clogging gutter. Unfortunately, I had to call a warranty service almost every other year since after the installation. But they did get the gutter unclogged without a fee! So, even the gutter was not perfect, I was okay with the service.
      Now the gutter clogged again. When called, a $50 dispatch fee was asked. No lifetime warranty service without the fee. They claim that the fee was just to get a technician here, it has nothing to do with the lifetime warranty. The lifetime warranty covers both material and performance. A clogged gutter certainly didn't meet the performance guaranty. I don't understand why a fee has to be asked to back the guaranty. Plus, this is the very first contractor who asked a upfront fee for warranty services. I had attempted to reach Gutter Helmet but realized that the contractor was the only one you could deal with. Obliviously Gutter Helmet was really not backing their guaranty. When asked how long the workmanship quality would be guaranteed by the $50, the contractor gave me no answer.
      After reading fellow customers' review, I lost confidence to this contractor, and am regret my purchase from Gutter Helmet.
