  I really liked this app, until I opted for the lowering my bills option. They scammed Verizon into giving a 15 dollar credit by posing as me and lying to them about being out of service for three days. Then they charged me for it. Please avoid this app at all costs

  I am a self proclaimed financial circus. I signed up for Rocket Money two months ago and I pretty much have my finances under control. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend. Also, when you need a question answered, you can do so by chat. Heather has been absolutely amazing. If I could give this 10 stars I would.

  I really love the app and the organization it gives me. All of the savings that I was eligible for was honored except one but that was because of the company I go through. Rocket money was still able to secure a one time discount which is better than nothing. All the questions and issues I had were answered and handled by rep Brittany as she helped me every step of the way, including, responding to every email quickly and even following up with me often. Thanks Brittany this rating is for you! ??

  The bill negotiation’s a rip off. They negotiated my Sirius XM account and my subscription went from what 6.99 a month to $17 a month and then Rocket Money charged me $100.
  My subscription was due to renew, and I was able to call after Rocket, and get it for $4.99 a month for 2 years!
  I emailed Rocket Negotiators many times before they charged me, and never got a response.
  I’m trying to get a refund from Rocket before I dispute it with mt credit card company.
  BEWARE this is not a good deal.
  The budgeting platform is decent, but I no longer trust them.

  I signed up for Rocket Money because I'd heard of their bill-lowering service. For a percentage of your savings (the lowest selection is 40%), they will negotiate with certain service providers to bring your monthly bill down. In my case they were able to bring my monthly internet bill down from $79.99 to $64.99 a month! When it comes to paying them the percentage saved, you will need to pay them the total in 6 months, despite your savings being spread out over 12 months.
  
  In my case, there ended up being an issue where my base bill increased by $5 a month before a savings of $20 a month was applied. Brittany with Negotiations, helped me out tremendously. She asked me for some documentation, was able to look at my case and see I wasn't saving as much as expected. Given that issue Rocket Money waved their fee, despite me saying I was happy to pay for the difference. They didn't have to do that, and that just shows an integrity of character that isn't present in a number of companies. I heartily recommend Rocket Money to anyone, because I really appreciate their efforts on my behalf.

  I signed up for Truebill four years ago, they immediately began double charging me. I tried to contact customer support, via chat, which is the only way to get ahold of anyone. I asked them to please cancel my subscription. I was told that they would, they never did, as I continued to be charged. I attempted to contact them several more times, they never responded. Then I was locked out of my account, and unable to sign back in. The company was apparently bought out by Rocket Money, I'm still locked out of my account, they are still charging me. I've tried to recover my account several times, to no avail. It appears the only way I will be able to stop being charged, for a subscription I do not want, nor can I use, is if I completely close out my bank accounts, however, I have several, and they have access to all of them, so that is not an option for me. I have come to the conclusion that this is a criminal organization, and I have to wonder, how long can this go on? How is it, that so many have had the same issue with this company, and there has been no federal investigation into their unethical, criminal business dealings? I eventually just gave up, and have to except that I will continue to be charged for a subscription I do not want, and am unable to cancel, nor can I use, until the world ends, or until Christ comes.

  This company has completely disgusted me with their low quality integrity. I signed up for True Bill now they have changed their name to Rocket money because of integrity issues Im certain. they then advertised they could help you discover subscriptions you are being debited for that you forgot about with Instagram ads. Turns out they function by the same scam ideology. Signing up was directly about you doing the research on who you signed up with and their banking account monitoring is to aggressive for my liking. But the part that disgust me is once I was forced to give them banking access and decided I no longer wanted this service. I couldn't find any path on the app to revoke access or delete my account. They decided to go ghost for days once they initially replied. They Finally responded to start the conversation with apologies about the long delay in reply was unprofessional and went ghost again which eventually I forgot about the company until I was cleaning my emails today. I frankly don't care about who doesn't mind the molestation method they call a service. They are despicable the very company they are claiming to notify you about. This new internet business model of no business phone # and barely an address makes it easy for scammers like this to conduct shadow business tactics. YOU ARE WRONG. I want a clear path to severe banking access. I am more than sure you all sell this information for profit. You low level integrity tech companies really need to be stopped! This has been years of a unresolved issue.

  Do NOT use the "free" renegotiate option from Rocket Money. They make it seem as though they will renegotiate your subscription for various services for free. In actuality, they will bill you, UPFRONT, for 12-months of half of the savings. They went into my NY Times account and asked to have my reduced rate promotion extended. This likely took all of three mouse clicks on my account (I did it myself when I had to Cancel my membership in order to get out of paying Rocket).
  
  All and all the entire experience has been a huge headache and hassle. Any the customer service is abysmal. They have NO phone number, so you can not call anyone. I have written half a dozens emails over the last two days and tried getting a rep on their chat service- to no avail. All I have received is one email response that didn't even respond to my request to cancel the renegotiation.
  
  Learn from my mistake: if you want to renegotiate your bill, do it yourself. The "rate" they renegotiated for me, was just an extension of a promotion that will expire again.

  Looks and sounds like a great way to budget your money- and then you get hit with a miraculous $60 fee that you never agreed to, only leaving a review because BBB won’t let me file a complaint- rocket money tricked me and I want my money back!
