    I have been kicked out of my account / cannot log-in and have a 'savings account' with RM that I am unable to access. At no point should I NOT be able to access my own money. Based on reviews and comments on Instgram and Twitter, Im wondering if this app is a scam. It's worrisome.

    They charged me for a bill they didn’t lower and when I contacted them I got absolutely no help. Just was told wait two weeks and see what happens. Even though I had confirmation and proof that they did not lower the bill. Structured like a scam with no recourse for the user. Avoid this app and service. I’m actually losing money because of them.

    I'm still getting over the transition from actual bill to rocket money, but for a year plan, it is a very reasonable price to pay for this app. The premium support is still excellent, and they work daily to improve the app. The services like negotiating lower payments on certain subscriptions are worth it, and the ability for them to cancel a service for you is also excellent.

    i signed up for a free7 day trial through google play.i set a reminder to decide and unsubscribe on the date listed within the terms. i unsubscribed two days prior as i saw now advantage to the subscription. i was stil charged 6 days later. i was then in formed some how they were not using my card number but instead drafting the money from my account using my routing number. i now have to close my account that i have had open for over 30 years in order to avoid their fraudulent charge.

    Don't try to get any support. I was having a problem logging on. The first phone contact number I called only had automated options about Rocket Mortage. I dialed another number and did get, someone, but they directed ewhereere else for technical support. The phone number directed me back to my original call. So I tried the chat feature. There was not any chat agent available and they directed me to leave a message in chat and they would get back to me in "a day". I did not do that. I tried to email them but the email address link took me to a blank page. I ended up deleting my account and am very glad I did not go premium.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

    I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to file a formal complaint against Rocket Money regarding unauthorized charges and unethical billing practices. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the matter with the company directly, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a satisfactory resolution.

    The issue at hand pertains to my Rocket Money account, where I recently discovered unauthorized charges of $9 every other day on my credit card. To my knowledge, I never consented to the opening of a savings account with Rocket Money, making these charges not only unauthorized but also a violation of consumer protection regulations.

    Despite my decision to close my Rocket Money account, the company has continued to bill me, leaving me locked into a plan that I am unable to cancel. This ongoing billing issue has caused significant frustration and financial burden.

    I have made numerous attempts to communicate with Rocket Money’s customer support, providing them with detailed information about the unauthorized charges. However, their responses have been unsatisfactory, and they have failed to take appropriate action to rectify the situation.

    I kindly request the Better Business Bureau’s intervention in this matter. I believe that Rocket Money’s actions not only violate ethical business practices but also breach consumer rights. I have diligently documented the unauthorized charges, including dates, amounts, and any relevant correspondence, and I am prepared to provide this evidence to support my complaint.

    I am hopeful that the Better Business Bureau, with its dedication to consumer advocacy, will be able to assist me in achieving a fair resolution. I kindly request your intervention to ensure that Rocket Money promptly addresses this issue, ceases the unauthorized charges, and provides appropriate restitution for the money. I eagerly await your response and guidance on the next steps to seek a satisfactory resolution.

    They charged my account $83.15 to negotiate a subscription for XM radio and they did not do anything. This app is a scam, please do not fall for this. If you need to lower a subscription do it yourself. I have tried to contact them with no luck and my credit card company will not refund me either.

    Don't use this company. They'll prey on any account you have that has a promotional period and bill you up front for it. My Comcast bill went up right before I had planned to switch to Verizon, they "negotiated" (which anyone can do with a quick call), bill lowered $20 and they charged me $100 all at once. I quickly contacted them to tell them i didnt want them to do this, and I was told there was nothing I could do. They charge you a very high % of the entire savings over years. Complete scam.

    The copied email was received in February, monthly payments were set up for 12 mos iao $36.01. After following up with Spectrum to verify the accuracy of this "negotiation", to my surprise, there was nothing in my file regarding this in any way. I then reached out to Rocket Money to refund the money that I had already spent since Feb, iao $114.42 (only supposed to be 2 billing cycles)

    I received an email from Brittany saying she would refund my account as soon as I provide the negotiation I did with Spectrum. Maybe I wasn't clear, so I sent a follow up email to her to let her know that I DID NOT NEGOTIATE ANYTHING FROM SPECTRUM, and according to Spectrum, they didn't either. This has been going on since February, it's now mid May, I have since lost the phone associated with this Spectrum account and have cancelled services with them as of 5/15. ROCKET MONEY OWES ME A REFUND IAO $114.42 IMMEDIATELY. I am tired of wasting my time on this going in circles with Brittany. I have asked her for her managers name and contact number and have not received that info as of yet.
