Flparking wrote a parking ticket for ** on ********** on 6/16 at the Daiquiri Deck (the lot next door). We tried to use the automatic pay station but it was out of order and made to look like the county parking pay station. There was no one there to pay, but evidently someone there to write a $63 ticket. What a scam.Business Response

Misleading the public. We parked immediately in-front of a meter, all the meters in the area look the same. Paid for parking. When we return ** Parking Co. Placed a citation on our window for $43. Tomorrow the ticket will go up to $63 and after 7/26/2021 it will be $103. I took a picture of the meter that I used and you'll see that it's in the grassy area of the lot. ** parking Co. Is claiming that the meter I used was not for their parking lot. Very misleading practice and not enough signs warning people of this. On June 8th of this year we decided to go to the beach at Cadys at Sunset beach.We have gone to Cadys on numerous conditions. We have never had a problem until now. I have a handicap permit that was hanging on my rear view mirror but yet I received a citation. The city says I'm not required to pay for parking. A citation for parking#******** for $23.00 dollars was paid in full. I feel I should receive a refund.*********************Business Response

We are sorry that you had difficulty with your parking. The area you parked in is privately owned and does not fall under the same parameters as the city lots. Each vehicle that enters this location is pay to park. Signage indicatomg this is located within the lot. Thank you for understanding.

I received a parking citation #******** on 6/12/21 parking at zone **** 534 Pinapple Ave . I displayed my handicapped sticker parking in the only handicapped space in the lot. No parking was available anywhere near the restaurant. I observed a man lurking behind a tree as we left to enter restaurant. On our return saw same man writing tickets placing on vehicles in lot. He intentionally let people park without mentioning a fee machine was hidden in lot and ticketed them after they left lot. Scam to make money for ** Parking **Business Response

I parked on a space on **********, **. Paid for my space and received a receipt which I placed on my dash. Got back to my car and had a "Citation" under the wiper, saying I was taking two parking spaces. Because of a previously parked car, I parked where I could. The lot was so dirty and the lines for the spaces were not clearly visible. There are no signs warning of potential violations such as this anyway. I believe this company is purposely trying to create "parking Violations", so that they can issue a "citation", and cheat people out of money. They are clearly a company trying to set up situations and threatening people with false threats to their credit rating, vehicle registration, etc.They need to stop this practice!Customer Answer

On February 14, 2021, we parked in their lot at ***********************************, and attempted several times to pay in advance for 3 hours of parking by credit card. The payment machine would not take any of several credit cards we tried and would not register any time. The machine was inoperable. We got citation #******** in our windshield. Upon returning home that day I wrote a check for $12, the posted cost for 3hours, along with a note explaining the circumstances. They did not cash my check and have sent us two "nonpayment penalty" notices for $40 and then $60 with threats for further escalation.Business Response

On July 22, 2022, Friday - I parked next to Frenchy's in ********** in an open and unmarked lot and paid 28$ using my discover card for the few hours i was there with family. When we returned to our car, we had been issued a citation for $63 for "parking in 2 spaces"- i have included photo of citation #********. I appealed this decision and was denied the same day. This is an open lot with no delineation of lines where to park - just a open dirt lot with rubber pylons outlining the edges. I included a photo to show I got as close to the rubber pylon in front of me with just enough room to open the doors. The cars beside me to my left and right were not perfected centered over their pylons - being stuck between them what choice did i have? I was given one single space and took it - not two spaces as the citation stated. The photo shows I am evenly spaced between the two adjacent vehicles. In 40 years of safe driving, I have never been fined parking in an open lot because the vehicles were not perfectly aligned to the pylons on the perimeter. If this is enforceable there needs to be a parking attendant on site or demarcation lines on where exactly to align your vehicle. There was no signs or parking attendant. Also, my credit card was billed prior to me knowing how much the final fee would be. You have no choice at that point to leave as you have already been billed. The citation was 43$ if paid immediately and 63$ if paid after 72hours. ******* Parking *** should post a warning sign of how they will constitute a fine to any potential customers. I had to pay 28$ for a few hours which is quite overpriced and then an additional 43$ in penalties. This ticket should be rescinded as it is harsh and unfair. I have provided photos showing how the vehicle on my left is an oversized RAM pickup truck that is well beyond the pylon leaving me no options on where to squeeze in. I parked in a privately owned parking lot at *********** (*************, **). We paid $20 to park in the parking lot that did not have any posted rules besides having to pay for parking or vehicles would be towed. When we pulled into the parking lot, the first parking stall was at a 45 degree angle. The area I parked was next to a dumpster and the dumpster was encroaching in the parking spot and did not allow for proper vehicle access within parking at an angle. The sign posted in front of the adjoining parking spot was also at a 45 degree angle. When we returned to our vehicle there was a ticket on the vehicle. There were also no clearly defined parking stalls or any parking rules besides having to pay for parking. They also ticketed the whole row of vehicles including other family members for parking the same way. I also sent ******* Parking ** an email and tried calling.Business Response

Pulled into a private parking lot on Treasure Island in **************. Got out of my car to go to the ticket ********* and noticed an attendant issuing me a "Citation". Explained to the attendant that I literally just got there and the attendant refused to recend the ticket and said I could dispute it online. I called the local police and they said that this was a private lot and that there "Citations" could not effect my driving record or registration. The back of there "Citation" alleges that failure to pay can affect credit rating, vehicle registration, license renewal, and ability to rent a vehicle. When I went to there website to despute the ticket, it asked for all of my personal information. When I went to call the number all you get is a answering machine that says phone attendants cannot resolve citation desputes.Business Response

When I parked at the location (by ********************) the pay station would not allow me to add additional hours due to the fact it was pouring rain I tried several different times to add the additional hours more than just one hour and it would not allow me to do so. Further, it would not even let me swipe my credit card card because it was raining so hard! Even *************** camps cc machines were down. I then download the app that when you ****** ******** Parking it tells you to use to park mobile would not let me make an electronic payment through the app. My table was ready at the restaurant and it was pouring rain so I had no other option but to go into the restaurant. I tried to appeal it through website, but the screenshots were not able to be attached because your website said they were too large. So I had to remove them, and was issued a denial of appeal, due to the limited information you allowed me to provide. I then requested a trial, which is my right for any citation that will affect my registration or license and have yet to hear back!Business Response
