1 starI was sold a car 1 year ago and now the transmission has gone out. I purchased the warranty on this vehicle which says it covers the transmission and they will provide a loaner car while it's being fixed. After counting dealing with the dealership and ****'s "customer care " I still don't have a car. I was hung up on transfered to random department and left on hold for 30+ min several times with **** "customer care " and still nothing. Now I'm being told they my not cover the transmission even though the warranty clearly states it covers transmissions. Their customer ********************** is awful and half of the people don't know what they are doing. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transferred to the recall center. I have been a **** owner for 20 years and after this experience with them I will never own a **** again.Review fromjchaz24

1 starOn 12/30/18, we purcased our **** 2018 Edge Titanium with a mere ****** miles from ****************** Dealership. On 7/25/2022, we took the car in to the **** *********** Dealership after the check engine light appeared; the vehicle was diagnosed with 'Coolant intrusion in Cylinder 1 & 2' and a new engine is required for the cost of over $9k! **** will not cover the cost due to the car being **** miles over the original manufacturer's warranty. We were then informed that if we would have taken the car to **** for our oil changes, there could've been a possibility that **** would've help finance the engine replacement, but because we took it elsewhere, they would not help. Keep in mind, we've only placed an additional ****** miles on the car with it now breaking down completely with a faulty engine and **** taking no accountability for a vehicle that breaks down 2k miles past their original warranty. We are continuing to pay for the vehicle as our loan was for 5 years with a now-defunct engine. **** promotes that it is a company for the American People, however, they lack accountability and don't live up to their own standard for its customers or military personnel.Review fromShannon W.

1 starDO NOT BUY A **** ECOBOOST ENGINE!!!!! If I could give -negative stars I would just to take down their already horrible rating. I have a 2016 **** Escape, which had a blown head gasket and needed an engine replacement at ****** miles. **** this happened I was driving on the freeway at night, my car's lights & power shut completely off, with no warning lights, overheating indicators, or check engine light coming on. I had to coast to the side of the road, where I was stranded with my children, because my engine almost caught fire. I was not advised of the coolant issue at the time, and was told they didn't know what caused the failure, but luckily it was covered under warranty. Now my car has ****** miles and my head gasket is blown & I need another engine replacement. My car is no longer under ************ was quoted $10,600 to repair. That makes 2 engine replacements in less than ******* miles for the same known defect. I contacted the dealership, and corporate headquarters, and was advised that even though there are multiple lawsuits out for this issue, which **** has known of the defect since 2010 & done nothing about, as well as numerous technical bulletins issued to their service department about this defect, there would not be able to fix the problem under their cost because they have not issued a recall yet. I just paid off my car 2 months ago & am now left with a $30,000 paperweight unless I want to fork over $10,000 to fix a problem that they refuse to be held accountable for. **** is the worst company ever & a criminal enterprise. BEWARE!!!!!Review fromDerek S

1 starThis is a scam, They charged me ****** to get my vehicle towed to the **** dealership to get repaired for a **** recall even for a vehicle that has less than 10k miles on it and is still covered under warranty and roadside assistance. They would not even schedule the tow until I paid. And now they want me to send a letter to **** Roadside Assistance to get my money back. This is an absolute scam. You have to be kidding me with this type of service it is complete garbage service.Review fromJim J

1 star*** J My daughter has a leased vehicle, , 2020 **** Fusion. On August 4 she heard strange noise in car, call dealership to take the car in, they told her she needed an appointment. The first available appointment was August 11 and she took her car in for service. As I write this letter it is August 23, and my daughter has been without a car for twelve days. The following is what I have been told.1.******************* Dealership, the car as of August 23 is the 9th car in cue to be looked atthis is the same status as of August 15.2.The dealer has no firm idea when the car will be looked at and diagnosed, it could be a week 2 weeks or even months.3.There is no loaner car program at ****.4.My daughter has work, school and two children to get around.5.She has been ubering and using family and friends to get her around 6.Customer service, had the following suggestions.7.Take car to different dealer, no guarantee that situation would change.8.No rental available until car is diagnosed and no one knows when that will be.9.Rent a car at her expense.10.Pay her lease payment even though she has not had her car for twelve plus days this month.Review fromBruno T

1 starHorrendous customer **********************. My Fusion broke down out of nowhere due to poor engineering and was told to pay $10,000 for repairs. I complained and asked for **** to pay and after a year of fighting them, and the dealer, and more often than not **** fighting their own dealer they agreed to pay 40% of the repair that was their own fault. In this meantime I had no loaners available for 4 months and was told to take Ubers and rent a car and provide receipts for reimbursement. Come time for reimbursement and **** refuses to pay. Its been a year and Im still fighting with them over trivial things like sending each receipt for 4 months in various formats with all my private information just to be told its not enough. At the end of the day if they just paid for their own mistake everything would be fine but instead theyve screwed my family and I for over a year over pennies. Now Ill never even touch **** cars nor will anyone in my life. Nice going ****, not that it matters because youll just get bailed out again and continue to sell awful cars and treat customers and your own employees poorly. -100 out of 10 worst company in history. Theres not enough words in all the languages in the world to describe how **** poor they are stay away at all costs.Review fromMary B.

1 starDear Ford Motor Company, my family has always been ******************* supporters. My father would never buy anything but ****s. When he passed away at home the funeral home came to pick him up and my mother was upset because they didnt bring their ***** and I said thats okay mom the drove a **** minivan. When I married, we continued that tradition of being only **** customers. My children and even grandchildren all drive ****s. That all changed last Friday when we were told **** would not stand behind their product. We have a 2017 **** Edge that was having an issue. We took it to the dealer and was told it needed a part that cost us around $500.00. A week later it started doing the same thing. We took it back to the dealer and was told we needed a new engine. We were also told that the malfunction was due to an engineering design flaw. Okay so we are thinking this was ****s fault so they will take care of it. Well, we were very disappointed to find out that **** is only willing to cover 60% of the cost to replace the engine that they were at fault for. I know we are only one family, and Im sure you dont care that you are going to lose our business. It just makes me so sad that no one takes pride in what they make anymore. My father always taught us to take pride in everything we did. Its to bad **** corporation doesnt have same values that my dad passed down to us. An X Loyal CustomerReview fromHEATHER R

1 starWhere do I start????? Let me start by saying my husband has worked for a **** dealership for 21 years and is a Service Manager. If he treated his customer the way **** has treated us he would NOT have a job!! I ordered my truck in February of 2022. When the order was placed our price went up $1,500.00. That was the first issue. Fast forward to June when our tracking showed our truck was built and gave us a date in July. HMMMMM. Well this entire time our truck has shown a CLEAN order and the expected ETA of August 11th. Now it's showing August 26th and also shows a chip hold! I have made MULTIPLE calls to **** Corporate. All who read off of their computer screen and can tell me NOTHING!!! I finally get a manager to call me back. I ask how my truck is on a chip hold for the auto start stop button when I didn't add this feature to my truck. She could tell me NOTHING!! The only thing she told me was that there was no one else above her I could talk to and that I needed to call my dealership. OK what don't you understand that my husband works for the dealership and can't get any information on this either. In the meantime I have had to buy a car for $5,000.00 just to get me around. Keep in mind when I ordered the truck I was told it would be here in 6 - 12 weeks. WRONG!!! So now I'm out $5,000 on a car and STILL have no information on when my truck will be here. What's the point in ordering a 2022 model when more than likely it won't be here until 2023. **** Corporate you grade your dealerships on their communication with customers yet you have NO ONE to grade you!! ********, Iasabella and ****** have been NO help with **** Corporate! **** Corporate are you going to take $5,000 off the price of my truck since I had to go buy a car just to have something to drive?!?!?!?!?!??! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!
