My mom has been without internet for almost 20 days now. When I try to call them during their regular business hours I'm told the office is closed. When I try to call local offices the lines are busy. I have also tried emailing them and have received no response. My internet company has disappeared, I didnt pay the bill cause I havent had internet, I received a bill with late fee., I paid it and check has cleared.There is nobody there so for 6 weeks we have no internet. internet has not worked for two days now tried calling local number {208} 529 **** says its close anytime of the day that i tried to call so called bbb they gave me another number to call ************** and the same thing happens the machine said they are having difficulties and then phone hangs up. they take out bill the first of every month and its direct pay so would like to figure out what is going on before then.Initial Complaint

I cannot get in touch with Speedconnect address:: ***********, ** ********** phone number: **************. Their phone service has 3 options for contact (sales, billing, & technical support) and when I select any of them during normal business hours (M-F 9am-7:30pm) the message tells me that their offices are currently closed. There is not an email or chat option only a mailing address in another state. I have been trying their phone number for over a week to cancel service and I see that they have my account down for another billing cycle. I want to discontinue service with these people. I normally receive my bill several days before it is due causing them to give me a late charge. In two instances over the last three years My internet was cut off after they said payments were not made on time a year prior. We had been Speed Connect customers for many year and when we moved from our home in ************ to *********, ** we were still under contract with them so we had to stay. Fast forward about 5 years and lots of outages and lousy internet service we got fed up and called and cancelled. I cancelled in April 2023 after our internet had been completely out for at least 2 weeks at that point. I asked for an outage refund and it was denied because I cancelled our service. I said that wasn't fair because we paid for them to provide us a service and they were not able to so they should refund me. I asked to speak to a manager and they said she wasn't in the office and that she would call me back. It has now been 2 months and I still haven't received a callback and i have called several times again to see why. All they say is that they still see the ticket in there for her to call back but that me calling doesn't make her call back any faster. I don't believe that they intend to call me back at all. I told them to let the manager know that I am not giving up and will continue to call until I talk to someone. I paid for them to provide me a service and they weren't able to provide it so I should get a refund.Initial Complaint

I was a customer of this Internet business in October of 2022, when they suddenly stopped working. After a month of being patient, I was told they would no longer service my area. Since then, I have been waiting on a refund that never seems to be issued. When I contact them, I'm told, "It's in the final stages " I don't believe it any more. I know I'm not the only person in this situation. I want my refund of $75.90 back for the month I paid with no service. I don't care if the money is returned to my card, like they have said it will be, or sent to my home address. It's ridiculous that myself and many other consumers have been waiting for eight months for resolution. I'm tired of waiting while this company continues to do business.
