5 starsStart New Financial was able to negotiate, what I considered acceptable settlements with my creditors, in a very timely manner. At the start, they told me approximately how long it would take to get out of debt, and they were correct. Any time I had any questions or needed advice, they were available. I had nine credit cards, and I was $92,000 in debt. I never would have been able to pay it off on my own. Thanks to Start New Financial, I am debt free. What a wonderful feeling!!Review fromJohn M

Worst decision I could have ever made. I had excellent credit and now it is ruined. I agreed to a 4 your pay off and Ive made every payment but I just called and they say now it wont be paid off till ****! Rip off, *** already paid in more than I agreed to and my accounts still are not settled. I would have been better off paying my credit cards myself and keeping my good credit. Just absolutely sick over this and no way outStart New Financial

Hello *******! Oh no! This is upsetting to receive this type of feedback. We strive to make every client experience a positive one and it seems we have come up short in this instance and for this we sincerely apologize. On a somewhat positive note, we performed an audit on your account and determined that all of your enrolled accounts are either settled and paid off or are in the process of being paid off. You are scheduled to graduate in early ****, not ****. The reason your program has extended beyond the original 48 month estimated term is because your July 2021 program payment drafted on 7/26 as opposed to on the normal 7/20 scheduled date. We realize that *** seem insignificant, but that small delay prompted one of your creditors to void a settlement you had in place, which forced us to re-settle the account, and thus the extension to your program. We are providing this explanation so that you *** at least understand the "why", and to provide transparency, even if it doesn't necessarily make you feel better about the situation. We do understand your frustration. Resolving debt is not easy, even under the best circumstances. Our goal is try and help consumers resolve their debt in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable amount of money, relative to the alternative of making the minimum monthly payments required by their creditors. Our position is that resolving a consumer's debt in 3-5 years is a better alternative than a consumer resolving their own debt in ***** years by continuing to make minimum monthly payments to their creditors. We don't mean to assume that you were on this course prior to enrolling in our program, but this is the case for many of our clients. Regardless, our response here is meant to be helpful, not argumentative. Your feelings and opinions have been heard.
