If I could give a zero I would give a zero....the company is a complete scam. In addition Overstock.com is a complete scam to even offer a warranty on their products through a company that they know is not legitimate.

We purchased a sectional 6 piece from Furniture land in high point NC for 8500.00 plus a 5 year warranty the furniture was delivered on Sept 7 2022. Early March 2024 a spring broke in the large curve center piece my wife called and were told to go online and fill out and describe damages being both my wife and I are not tech savvy and we only have a mini pad we had a hard time sending. My wife called and asked if they can send a paper form to just fill out than mail back. After waiting for 2 weeks my wife called back and the woman she talked to said she will check on it. 5 days later we received it my wife filled it out and mail it back. After waiting for 3 weeks my wife call back and was told they are busy but will take care of it as we are on a waiting list. Today April 26th 2024 my wife called again to check on our claim but after the first two ladies hung up on her finally the 3th lady told her our claim was denied because it had past 30 days. It was their fault because it took them almost 3 weeks to send us the paper form. I’m not going to let this go I’m 82 and my wife is 77 so both of us are retired and have the time to pursue this.

Two months have passed since I filed a claim for the replacement of sliders on my dresser, which have inexplicably disintegrated despite the dresser being a mere three years old. Initially, I encountered a hiccup when my claim was denied due to a typo in the date provided. Despite rectifying this error promptly, the subsequent response was disheartening. Guardsman requested a detailed letter to "plead" my case, which I promptly provided. However, to my dismay, the claim was once again denied without adequate explanation.Seeking clarification and resolution, I reached out to a Guardsman liaison, only to be met with silence for nearly two weeks. When I finally received a callback, I was unable to answer, leading to a further delay in communication. Despite my persistent efforts to reconnect, it has been an additional 10 days without any response. As a consumer, I find this level of customer service utterly unacceptable. The purpose of a warranty is to provide assurance and support when unforeseen issues arise, yet Guardsman has failed to fulfill this obligation. It's deeply frustrating to contend with such a drawn-out and unproductive process for a seemingly straightforward repair. At this juncture, I demand immediate action from Guardsman. Either provide a satisfactory resolution to my claim or ensure that a representative reaches out to me promptly to clarify the reasoning behind the denial and outline the steps moving forward. My patience is wearing thin, and I expect a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter.

Wasted $800 on this scam. Don't waste your money. I should have checked out the Guardsman reviews before buying. The furniture stores sure like to push it so they should take a hit too....********

The worst service ever. I bought protection for my couch, there was an accident and couch cover ripped off. After reaching Guardsman one representative came to assess, he said they will order the part and replace. After two years also there is no update even though i am continuously checking with them. Now they say you need to contact furniture store and they claim they already informed furniture store. Furniture store folks say they didnt receive any request from Guardsman. When i ask about Guardsman who in the furniture store we need to speak any contact, guardsman says we cant give that info. I asked them whats the guarantee that you really sent request and forward that mail to me then they hungup phone. Reaching them takes 2-3 hours of waiting in the line and they simply hung up. Suck a fucking company this is. I felt I got cheated and left this case.

DO NOT BUY!!! THEY ARE FRAUDS! THEY SEND YOU INFORMATION THAT'S CRAZY CONFUSED AND ACCUSE YOU OF NOT SUBMITTING IT. They don't follow up and are very rude. They first said I didn't make a claim and my 30 days were up and then told me exactly what claims I submitted. I'm upset that I spent loads of money on a warranty that did not exist. All they can say is denied. No remorse. The HAVERTYS assured me that everything was covered. I could have saved thousands of dollars on my order of $12,000.00. DO NOT BUY! Is there was a negative 5 I would rate this company just that. One star is too much!

Policy clearly was sold from ****** as will fix or replace from damage or stains. Gaurdsman doesn’t stand behind it at all. I submitted my claim due to staining and was told they do not process claim for staining. The document clearly states everyday “oops”. On top of that in order to request a refund you must write a physical letter to a P.O. Box. I will be reaching out to the AG.

This company is selling FALSE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES! They tell you whats covered and they then say they cant fix it because its Not covered in the plan when in fact IT IS! My first claim was denied for discoloration on my $2000 leather loveseat set that I sent pictures of, which was actually covered under the plan. The second claim was submitted for mechanical repair because the sofa recliner on both sides suddenly STOPPED working. Btw I purchased the set at NFM. Guardsman now say that my claim will be processed in the order received, with NO timeframe of service!! Its been a Month!! This is the WORST service ever from this company! A total waste of money. STEER CLEAR of this company! They dont even deserve 1 star ratings!! I wish I could get my money back!

We purchase a live seat from Homemakers in Des Moines, Iowa around when Covid started. The loveseat was broken on the inside from my kids. We had purchased a protection plan with them using Guardsman. We filed a claim with them on 10/19/23. They did send someone out to look at it. They determined that it needed replaced. They sent a purchase order to Homemakers. We waited and waited but did not hear anything. I contacted Guardsman several times but was either on hold the whole time or never received an email response. Finally I called Homemakers myself and they did have a purchase order sent to them from Guardsman’s. Homemakers said they could not fill the order because that love seat is no longer available. They sent this message back to guardsman but they have failed to contact me to discuss other options. I have sent them several emails. Upset emails. But have not received anything yet.
