      f you haven’t gotten the hint, do not buy any furniture with this warranty company. My dog bled on my couch back in August, 2023. I finally get my new couch delivered today (2/26/24). Six months going back and forth between warranty people and furniture store. There was one day I called and was on hold for 2 hours and 48 minutes before it hit 2 pm and I got an automated message saying “we only accept calls before 2pm eastern time to better assist in helping” or some shit along those lines and then just hung up on me. They are fucking impossible to deal with, they have HORRIBLE communication skills. Someone needs to put this business OUT of business absolutely ridiculous such a waste of time and energy don’t fucking do business with this people!

      We purchased over 10K worth of high end furniture from Ethan Allen (EA) and EA recommended the protection plan in the event we had any problems with the 2 sofas, 1 leather recliner and 1 oversized ottoman. Well, we did. The fabric on the sofa ripped at the corner on the back corner and needed to be repaired. Simple. Called EA they told us this was absolutely covered under the the protection plan, checked the actual protection plan contract and sure enough it appeared to be covered. Was actually coached by EA on what to say in the claim to ensure it was approved. Did it exactly and directed, submitted the pictures and waited forever. Finally started calling and found out what a joke Guardsman customer service is. First, they make it purposely difficult to speak to a person. Second, the website provides no information. After multiple calls and emails and 3 weeks after submitting our claim I was told "fabric failure" was not covered. Went back to EA and they advised it was covered but told me to submit the claim stating the fabric was ripped by a dog as animal accidents were covered under the 1 time lifetime warranty section. So we tried again and again the claim was denied after waiting 5 weeks. I wish we had the money to hire a lawyer and sue but we don't. I highly recommend never purchasing a warranty through Guardsman or purchasing furniture from Ethan Allen. We have been extremely disappointed with our "high end" furniture and the fact they don't stand behind their product. The fabric ripped plain and simple and neither the warranty nor the company that made the sofa will stand behind it for repair. Shoddy workmanship and even worse customer service.

      My husband and i purchased a couch and loveseat and purchased the protection plan. What a joke. We had a side of the couch that would not recline. Sent in a claim and was told they needed the receipt so i got that and sent it over. Got no response from them. Called them and was told they were not going to fix it. How can you pay for something and they refuse to fix it. We will be seeking legal advice. They either need to fix it, give us our money back for the protection plan or deal with legal services. I would not recommend this protection for anyone. This company is a freakin joke.

      We paid for a furniture protection plan, reported a problem 12/26/23. The tech is scheduled to return on 3/6/24. Guardsman informed us that they will only make a repair on our chair once and never again. What kind of protection is that. 3 months to fix the chair and it is a one time deal. We paid for a five year protection and this only year 2.

      Wow! I think by looking at the previous reviews says it all. Big Fat Zero (0). Can Not get anyone on the phone. Numerous phone calls with no answer. Finally sent information online more than once and certified mail and yes had to send information requested more than once. I guess it was for them to buy more time to do nothing. I was stood up 2 times and I even called more than once the same day of the 2nd appointment to make sure someone would be coming. The tech called 10 minutes after the expiration of the time and said he was not coming because it was too late. The 3rd time he finally showed up at the later end of the expiration time even though I was told I would be his first appointment. Now I can't get them to reply on broken parts. That was till yesterday by email telling me to call the manufacture. I called again and 25 minutes into being on hold I was told to hold on again and we are at 35 minutes now. I called ****** Furniture in New Orleans where I purchased the bed and the person on the phone said she didn't understand why I was calling her.

      I purchased a sectional an paid extra for a protection plan with Guarsdman Furniture Protection and the one end of the sectional is broken. I contacted Guardsmen and a claim was started and that is it...it was started. When I call they put me on hold without anyone ever picking up. I have stayed on hold for up to 2 hours. I called again today and was on hold for over an hour.

      Worst customer service ever. A furniture pen exploded in my husband hands and make **** stains on everything,After 2 hours on the phone, 10 people transfer , a filled a claim. I got a standard answer back, they had not read the claim

      I agree with the reviews. Guardsman is unethical company with poor business practices. Through their claims, they play got you with customers, so they wont pay for repairs or stains removals. Guardsman should be investigated for their questionable business practices.

      I would like to give a 0 if possible for this highly unprofessional company. Its been 3 months since the technician submitted his report and still no update. Seems like they have a number 1800***0080 which no body cares to answer. I have been calling the 1800***3957 and the staff is very professional and rude and always transfers the calls to resolution department(1800***0080) . Worst part is they accept the calls only 10am- 2pm eastern and I was on hold for 4 hours throughout the duration of their hours of operation. This company looks like a scam and they want the customers to give up on their claims by not answering and not providing any update. Very Frustrated with this Company and really hope to get some help through this review.

      Horrible service and horrible replacement times. We have literally been waiting a year for a replacement chair. Its not worth the money or hassle. Completely dissatisfied and will discourage anyone from using this company.
