      This company is absolutely terrible. The customer service is horrible. They have you send picture after picture of your claim to try and discredit it. The customer service phone representatives are rude and put you hold until you give up and hang up. This company actually tries to get you, the consumer who paid for the coverage to first try and clean you furniture with a small flimsy packet of cleaner they send you. They denied the my last claim and it made no sense. I contacted the furniture store where I bought my items and demanded a refund on the coverage and they did. DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY!

      This company is a total scam. I cannot believe furniture stores still recommend this service. I’ve placed several claims and they are either denied immediately or never completed. They do not answer emails and are very rude when you actually get someone on the phone. They sent someone out to my house over a year ago to fix a recliner, he ordered a part and told me they would be in contact with me once the part came in. That was exactly 1 year ago and I’ve gotten no updates since. I called today to demand a refund since I payed $300 for the service and was told to send a letter in the mail. Never again

      This company is absolutely a joke! I purchased the plan when I bought my furniture. I filed a claim in JULY after waiting several months and sending many emails I finally received an email stating that “pictures taken by technician were not clear enough to make a decision.” I was finally given 2 options in which I chose option B and once I got to the furniture store they added up our original purchase price which was almost a 2,000.00 difference than what the email stated to be “the original price of purchase.” I have reached out to them via email and sat on hold with this company for ENDLESS hours only to be disconnected after a 2 hour hold. I cannot reach a customer service representative in any way to discuss this matter. I also was given a time frame to use the refund or I lose it. This is absolutely unacceptable!!!

      I'm extremely frustrated and let down with Guardsman. Their customer service is terrible - they didn't bother telling me when a claim wasn't accepted - I had to follow up with them after a couple of months of not hearing back. Additionally, the reason they did not accept my claim made no sense. Don't buy a warranty from them; it's not worth it.

      Guardsman protection isn't worth buying because they have so stipulations in their warranty I would buy it again.

      Horrible company, misleading and unresponsive to emails or calls. Took over a year just to get one seat fixed on a sectional. Had sent pictures and request to fix the others that have stitching broken and after a couple of week was told to call them. Still not fixed. Will never use a furniture store, again, that uses them as a resource. Only gave 1 star because I have to.

      They are a terrible company.. They make you jump through so many hoops in order for you to use their service. meanwhile you paid good money to have their protection If needed and it's useless. We bought a refrigerator less than 2 years ago paid for the protection plan and they've been out 7 times to fix the refrigerator.. now I'm trying to redeem money for loss of food. I've been living out of a cooler for the past 3 months!! It is absolutely absurd what they want form me to redeem money for food. I have to try to remember what food was lost 3 months ago. I have to rebuy it make a itemized list on the receipt when I go shopping next.. I either have to fax a copy, scan it or mail it to them. with the claim and the contract number.. then they will assess if I get money back...are you kidding me!!! It's a refrigerator of course I lost food!! when it took you five times to try to fix the situation, I'm not even sure if it's fixed yet cuz I just got it back for the fifth time today.. That's right cuz two times they did absolutely nothing but look at it..they really are terrible ..I say don't bother wasting your money with this company... I would give them zero stars if I could!

      I filed a claim-they got back to me with a small bottle of spray! It didnt work to get rid of the dog urine and when I asked them to come out they have ignored several emails. Don't waste you're money on this "service"

      Full of crap !!! I bought a recliner set had company over for Sunday football , something in one of my visitors back pocket ripped the couch and it started to ripped and ripped some more and also the arm rest was peeling and cracking only have the furniture for three years. My protection plan kicked in last year . I called them the beginning of this month and explained it was accidental rips in my couch and all they referred back to was, peeling and cracking is not a reason for them to fix furniture. First of all , the arm rest was peeling and cracking but what about the rips in the couch from my company? They charge you $100 and some odd dollars to tell you ,oh sorry can’t fix it . Then why tell customers about a protection plan that’s not going to work when you need it. That’s high way robbery especially if they are denying multiple Customers. How much money they collected and never fixed product. Getting rich off the people hard earned money is insane . Someone needs to look into this company and furniture store need to stop suggesting to get coverage knowing this company will not fix anything in the long run. Even if my furniture was cracking and peeling if I have insurance on it , why not fix it , you took my money and gave no help . Please give me my money back for the protection plan you did and will not help me with. Now I have to purchase new furniture because I don’t want to keep a ripped couch in my living room. More money , never again will I get a protection plan on furniture with this company. Please refund my protection plan money. Get rich off someone else !!

      Terrible company. Son't waste your money on a protection plan with them.I opened a claim as I accidentally spilled a chemical product on my sofa, damaginf the leather. I opened a claim, but it was denied as Guardsman identified the issue as manufacturer quality problem. I called the service support, but the agent was very rude. He insisted on the manufacturer quality issue, but he was keep interrupting when I was explaining my position, talking over me and refusing to listen. I asked kindly not to interrupting me, but he kept doing it. I asked to have a third party inspector to see the sofa, but they said that the online form and pictures were enough to evaluate any claim. I asked to talk to a supervisor and he refused as well, hanging up my call.It was the worst customer care experience I ever had.Basically if Guardsman deny a claim for whatever reason, there is no way to discuss about it.
