      Horrific I had to add a star to make this review,otherwise it's a zero. They will not answer my calls/ text or emails I purchased 2 electric La-Z-Boy recliners which has fabric damage. The inspection was done 5 months ago and I have had no response from them.And believe me I have tried. DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE!!!!!!!!

      I purchased the warranty with Guardsman. I have the paperwork that says what they cover but when I went to use it they said it wasn't covered. They said if you read the small print it overrides all the things they say they cover. When brown color leather furniture starts to come off they don't cover that. Please BEWARE they don't cover what they say they do. BIGGEST RIP OFF.

      Worst customer Service they provide me with the wrong information which has nothing to do with my information , they kept saying they are sending me the process throughout email which they have not I keep calling them to get the process going and they aint sending nothing to my email which they have not Ive been stuck trying to get my warranty done for the past 3 weeks at this point I feel like they dont want to honor anything they & on top of that making excuses and errors on my information so I can stop calling .

      If I could give a zero star, I absolutely would. The times to call customer service are a joke (10 am to 2 pm EST). Between my husband and I we have called 7 times. Every time we have called we have been on hold for no less than 30 minutes. The first time my husband called and stayed on hold for 66 minutes, and then they hung up on him. We paid $500 for their Gold Plan through ********* Furniture in ************, **. Luckily enough our claim got approved and they said it would *********** to 8 weeks to get an update. Starting at week 6 I began checking their claim status and it said parts are requested. Continuing to email and call to see about getting an updated claim status, we have had zero luck getting a response. On week 8 now and still no updated claims page, no call, no email, and no delivery. Will never use again, will never recommend to anyone, and will never have anything nice to say about the company or how they handle their business. I have zero clue on how they are still in business. Total scam and need to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!

      Terrible. They have been giving us the round around about our furniture claim for the last 5 months. Claiming to send out emails they never did. Denied our claim because of a typo..trusted our furniture store to do something about it as well..will not. Now were stuck paying for couches that are destroyed when we were told it would be covered.

      I bought my electric recliner from **** Plus and the cord snapped underneath. Working with Guardsman has been like wrestling a tiger. First there was a lag on **** Plus's end, and then Guardsman was impossible to get a hold of and claiming they were sending me emails to fill out a form and they were never sent to me. Finally I got in contact with someone there and they sent a tech out to look at our chair. I was told that they would be sending a part and an email to get it fixed. I have called numerous times and left on hold forever. I hope **** Plus will replace my recliner since Guardsman is an actual scam.

      They only provide warranty service if the damage occurred on the 4th of July, in a hail storm, during which a baby rhinoceros runs through your home after escaping the local zoo.??

      Leaving a 1, because I cant leave a 0 star. This is a JOKE of a company. It took almost 3 weeks for someone to come out, when he did he was at my home for 5 minutes and said he "reset" my fireplace unit. Asked him how to do that and he told me he couldnt show me that. Told me to contact him within 24 hours otherwise he would close ticket. I explained to him that since they gave me a 4 hour window and had to work until late in the evening, that I would not have a chance to test the fireplace out. Sent a response at 8am and then at 7pm - told me SORRY, you are too late, they will have to make a nother service call and to call the company. Called the company, emailed the company several times from 10/24-11/2 with NO RESPONSE. Told them that I would dispute the charge as of of Monday 10/30 - they send a pathetic email stating that there was some IT issues and to resend a picture of my unit not working. How would I possibly take a picture of a unit NOT giving off heat???? I disputed the charge. This is a joke of a company and should be out of business. Contacted corprate Steinhafels where I purchsed the unit and said that they should not continue to have a partnership with this company.

      Scam of a company, DO NOT USE! I bought furniture and a protection plan by guardsman. One piece was a leather recliner. A year in, the stitching on a seam on the top of the chair is coming out, very obvious. You can see the stitch broken and the leather open. I file a claim and I am told it is not covered because the stitching is decorative. You can literally see the panels coming apart. I call the 800 number to inquire about the denial, thinking the mistake was mine, I worded it wrong or explain it wrong. The first person I talked to said it was not covered and when I asked if it was because i made a mistake or submitted it wrong, she told me it was denied and even if I did resubmit, it would not be considered since it was already denied as decorative, then hung up on me. I called back, talked to another guy that was just okay at first and then turned rude our of nowhere about 5 minutes into talking to him. He said he would not discuss it anymore and I could just read my email, then hung up on me. When I tried to call back, I got recording stating hours were only to 5pm eastern, I would have to call back. It was 5:02, the guy knew the cut off was coming and was only polite until 5pm came then turned rude and hung up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
