      Spoke to a CS representative named ***** when calling to file a claim on 10/12/23. The agent was hostile and unprofessional. On 10/13/23,I had additional questions and called the same number again and unfortunately it was the same CS representative ***** who answered. She is not a native speaker and had a hard time following my inquiry. When I advised her she was not following, she proceeded to hang up the phone. I called a different number and spoke to a different representative named *****. He was more courteous but advised that he had to end the call so he can speak to other customers after less than 10 minutes (confirmed on iPhone). It was obvious that he just didn't want to assist any further. This company is very unprofessional and hostile when one tries to submit a claim after buying an insurance policy. The customer service department does not cater to clients' needs. They are not native speakers and have difficulty properly explaining the claim process and become belligerent when you ask questions due to confusion created by the disconnect of information provided. It seems they purposely make the process convoluted to deter customers from submitting insurance claims after buying a furniture protection plan. I kindly request someone from corporate to assist. Thank you.

      I filed two claims with this company for repairs under a warranty through them. They had a technician come to my home. They were unable to repair my kitchen chair and also my sofa. I received an email on August 23, 2023 stating ,"We recently sent a technician to your home to service your furniture. The report has been received and indicates the technician was not able to make a high-quality repair to the stain and/or damage that you reported. Rather than make a poor-quality repair, your claim has been sent to our **************** team for review. I have attempted to contact this company for a status update, but I was put on hold for 2 hours from 11:00-1:00 central time and once 1:00 p.m. my time hit I finally got a recording saying they were closed and to call back when they were open again. This is absolutely not acceptable as sitting on hold for 2 hours was a waste of my time. My claim numbers are ******** and ********. The claim that has to do with my sofa was a tear in the seam of the couch and now that all this time has gone by the tear just keeps getting bigger and bigger. The technician was aware that this was going to happen if it didn't get repaired right away. I feel like this company is a scam and if they have to fix something or replace something they purposely ignore you.

      Guardsman has been a true nightmare for me and my family. Purchased a pretty expensive couch/loveseat set off Overstock.com and naturally wanted to protect it. It's a shame they would partner with such a company. I received excuse after excuse, until they would no longer even answer any inquiries. Every time i call, I am simply put off or left on hold until the support department closes (they are open ****!). I paid for absolutely nothing. Total SCAM. I'm left with a couch that doesn't recline and no recourse.

      I put in a claim to fix my recliner for the second time. We had to wait 6 weeks for a guy to come out and take the same pictures they had me submit online. It's now been another 6 weeks and still haven't heard anything. I've tried to call but can't get a hold of them since they only accept calls a few hours on Mon and Tues when most people are working. I've been on hold 20 plus minutes before having to go back to work. Not very good business practices!

      This is a horribly run company with disinterested and rude customer service reps that hang up on customers, keep you on terminal hold, and just plain don't honor their warranties. They run you through a gauntlet of administrative tasks so that you can't take it anymore. The only thing they have done is waste my time. I filed a claim on 8/30/23 and have had to call the company multiple times to get the technician visit scheduled (the first technician was a no-show). I have sent receipts, photos, used the cleaning kit that was sent and have tried to schedule a technician multiple times to no avail. They need to be held accountable.

      This company is horrible!!!!!! The telephone representatives have attitudes, they will not answer questions. I spent over ******** to cover my furniture and I fell like I was scammed. I got absolutely no help for a blood stain on my brand new couch, I was told it may take up to five days to process claim, the claim forms are ridiculously difficult to file, and in the mean time the blood is sinking into the fabric. I made an error on the date of the form I submitted and was told they can't change it. They can't open the claim either to ensure the pictures I sent went through. I've never dealt with a company like this, there isn't enough room to tell the entire story. Just don't buy!!!Furniture Land South dropped them. I see why!!! NO STARS but I have to choose one, so one it is

      I had them schedule a technician to see a broken sofa, the main seating of our living room, took weeks to get someone to see it, and then be told exactly what I told them, it's broken. They ordered parts, and after several weeks, I was told it was not available and that I could choose between a paltry cash sum, and my purchase price in store credit. To claim the credit though, I have now been on hold over an hour, have been spending multiple days calling them and spending hours cumulatively on hold waiting for them to literally just issue this store credit. It's abysmal. All this time without a working couch, literally can't sit on half of it. This is driving me insane. I cannot believe ********* uses this service. I would leave my honest thoughts here but they would be vulgar.

      Guardsman has poor customer service. It is nearly impossible to reach a representative and depending on the "representative" explanations for denials are inconsistent. As well the terms of service are not realistic as they try to get you to believe that 30 days for reporting damage is normal. However, Guardsman reasons for denial are for damage that we as the customer are told when buying the policy is covered. DON'T BUY GUARDSMAN FURNITURE WARRANTY

      This company DOES NOT post their cancellation policy on their website and DOES NOT honor their own statement that they will refund a policy within 20 days of the furniture seller company contacting them on behalf of the customer to cancel. The told the company they would not cancel my warranty within 5 days, and the company provided me the email response. They throw every possible roadblock up instead of just honoring the customers wishes. It is still within 20 days of my furniture purchase, I DO NOT want the warranty, and they refuse to honor both my and the ***************** request to cancel my warranty that was automatically selected by the website I purchased the furniture through. Avoid this company if you have any doubts about furniture warranties. I now have to mail in a letter to request cancellation as the next course of action, which is in contrast to the 20 day requirement. Furthermore, I still have not received anything in the mail stating I even purchased a warranty even though it says it was shipped 2 weeks ago.
