      Worst warranty company ever. I am surprised Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) has a contract with them. For the most part throughout my life (I am 64yrs old), I have bought furniture and appliances through NFM. I have bought their warranty along with the products but never had to use it until this year. I have been battling with Guardsman since March 07, 2023 for a repair of an sofa. I was finally able to reach customer service (they are the worst) and on March 22nd, 2023 I was able to submit a claim on line. PS: takes over an hour to reach someone on phone. They finally sent a service person on 04/13/23 who told us that he would have to request part(s) - springs-from Guardsman. Took forever for this part to come in. On 08/07/23, I received an email from them stating that a that I would receive a call from the service person within 5-7d. Have not heard from anyone since. I would strongly recommend not getting warranty through this company. Thanks, *************************

      We have 2 chairs that have broken from Chair King. We made the claim and Guardsman sent an adjuster out. The Adjuster advised that the 2 chairs were not able to be fixed and that new chairs would be sent to us. We'll that was months ago, and no chairs have arrived. There has been no communication with Guardsman at all! We stayed on hold several times for more than 2 hours, and no one answers the phone. Very very disappointing to say the least!

      The worst service I have ever had. Do Not...I repeat" Do NOT buy into their service contract. What a scam. I have been on hold for an hour and half waiting for someone to answer the phone. We called them in July, they send a repair guy out who doesn't have the part and so end of August I call them. The gal transfers me to this apartment that just put you on hold.

      Guardsman is TERRIBLE their customer service representatives are the lowest of the low, their whole process is a scam and its a waste of time and money. Ive waiting 30 days to receive a response for my claim for my Helix mattress, tried to contact someone at mulberry unlimited a machine responded back to me but not a person and now I have to deal with *********. Never buy from Helix Sleep or mulberry unlimited at the end of the day you will have to work with Guardsman.

      SCAM!!!! Was convinced to buy this for my dining room set at ****** After jumping through a million hoops to make a claim I was denied for a burn that was on my table due to other wear and tear that they saw on the table (normal wear and tear for a table that is not the greatest quality and is over 4 years old). Their customer service is HORRENDOUS. Their process is long, tedious, with little communication in between. DO NOT BUY- WASTE OF MONEY AND SCAM COMPANY. Glad ************* no longer contracts them as their main Furniture protection plan.

      Rip Off. Filed a claim for broken motor on recliner. Had gold plan. Never heard from them. Called them and got run around about how they would contact me. Still no contact. Will never ever purchase this insurance again.

      0 stars this company is definitely a scam. None of their help contact numbers work. They make it impossible to submit a claim. The login hardly ever works. I contacted the, through the better business bureau website and was finally transferred to an agent who logged in through her own computer. She said she couldn't sent me a link or email to service my claim then after much digging finally enabled my account and I was able to log into the shadiest jankiest claim site with multiple confusing and unneeded trails and forms that are obviously put into place to deter the claim. And once you finally get to the claim page it makes you go through a million other steps and when you're finally ready to submit...it's near impossible. A month later they email you back claiming they don't cover paint job tarnishes even though the claim was about broken wood and furniture that can't stand upright on it's own....even with photo evidence which they make you insert...with a photo limit and no option to submit videos.

      Trying to work with Guardsman has been impossible. I was mailed a part to our coffee table that broke and told to call the technician helpline to schedule an install. They are only open Monday and Tuesday. When I call Monday and Tuesday, a system places me on hold and at the 30 minute **** of holding, the system disconnects. There's no way to speak to anyone. When I call general customer service, they say I have to call the technician line that they don't answer and that doesn't take messages. The gold protection plan I paid for is useless if I can't get in contact. What should I do with the broken furniture I cannot use until a technician I can't call comes to install it? I wish I hadn't purchased the insurance coverage because it's fraud. It is nothing like what was sold to me.

      I will not even give them a star, because their service is that awful. I emailed Guardsman customer service department and I called after not receiving an email back to get a date and time to have my furniture repaired. The customer service person told me that she would mail me a form to complete and she did, but I still did not receive an email about the date and time of my repair. I called once more and was told that my form was never received and she would mail out another form. I got that form an mailed it back and once again no appointment set up. I called customer service and was told that I did not respond in enough time, so they will not be fixing my furniture, so I asked the young lady for a refund form. She gave me the address where to mail the refund form. I received a letter in the mail stating that they do not refund. I called customer service and told them, that I was not aware that I could not get my money back if I was unsatisfied with their service. I am stuck with broken furniture and empty promises of their contract. When I went back to Havertys furniture store to replace my torn pieces of furniture and I was asked about the protection plan I told the salesperson I would never buy another protection plan with Guardsman.
