      They answered the phone and had robotic responses and they were, I will verify your email and send a document for you to attach your receipt to with the problem and we will respond in 30 days. It was EXTREMELY UNSATISFACTORY. I then called the company ************ and a customer service individual ******* (number on back of remote) worked with me on the phone to trouble shoot my remote and got me up and running. SHAME on you guardsman for collecting my $250.00 and not helping me at all with my $1600 purchase of a bed that has a chintzy remote. At least they answered the phone and had some sort of recourse.

      Requested to have a technician inspect leather sectional sofa and determine why it was peeling and cracking in areas that do not get wear. Also requested that the technician determine if the leather was bonded. Neither of these issues were addressed in their report. Only received a statement that it was not repairable.

      Abysmal company, probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My claim for a sectional is in progress for over 3 mths without any resolution. The tech they sent over to check the damage basically said the cushion cover needs to be replaced and the resolution team is still working on it. The fact the BBB gives this company a A+ rating after hundreds of 1 star rating is clear that they are getting paid to rate this company A+. Guardsman is a big scam. Save your money and buy a new furniture or pay a professional to come clean or repair it then to pay this scam of a company your hard earned money to do nothing.

      Worst customer service ever! Submitted claim 4/11/23. Finally sent repairman 5/16/23. Needed new motor for lift chair. After waiting a month, discovered motor was never ordered. Finally contacted store where chair was purchased to ask for assistance. Amazingly got call next day that part has been ordered, but will take 6-8 weeks to get. If only they had ordered the part when the repairman was here a month ago, the part might already be here. Now we wait again! And, they had the audacity to "thank me for choosing Guardsman" in their snarky email, that very conveniently says you can't respond to their email. I am disappointed that the local furniture store, Coconis Furniture, where I purchased my chair would sell warranties for this company.

      Please dont use guardman to cover furniture insurance. This company dont plan to fix and solve the problems. I reported many times but they just ignored and no response and try to fix it. I dont plan to buy the furniture insurance anymore. I bought it via Nebraska furniture Thanks

      one the worst customer service. not sure why their language is not clear though speaking English, submitted a claim 2 months ago for very small paint removed from coffee table, after a month one of the tech guy came and said whole coffee table needs to be re polish which I do not seems to be require. one month has been passed still no communication from the business. when I called today and asked for supervisor or Manager no answer, hold for an hour and ended up got cancelled.

      Purchased a 5 yr warranty, tried to make a claim on website, had to do it 5 times because they don't want it to work, put in a date after it rejected the date I put in, now they say they will not honor the warranty because of a date discrepancy, I'm well within the 5 year, and they said so what, and hung up on me.

      My brand new dresser is cracking structurally right from the middle. These guys only cover accidental damage apparently. And will reject your claim for reasons that are not specified on their T&C. The guy on the phone actually said “yes we don’t have this on the terms yet we are denying your claim” I said “you can’t deny my claim for a reason not specified on your terms” he said “yes we can”. He told me that they will only help once my manufacturers warranty is out. So basically you pay for 5 year coverage but it’s truly lesser, it’s 5 minus your warranty length. I asked him if this had happened after my warranty length would they have helped me, he said “no because we ONLY cover accidents” Please don’t waste your money unless you think it’s worth paying $130 for some guys to come in and scrub nail polish remover off your couch. The possibility of that happening is also low. So NOPE never buying these guys again!

      Horrible!!! They NEVER pick up their phone! In fact, the only allegedly pick up on Monday and Tuesday, but trust me, they dont pick up then either.The contract number and claim number that THEY gave me are NOT recognized by their system.The do NOT respond to email.Total waste of money and since I purchased this protection from ****** and they refuse to help, I would NEVER buy anything from them again either.
