      This company is horrible. Do not allow them to reach into your wallet. We had a claim on a leather expensive couch with them, we did everything properly according to their instructions, but they said it was not done in a timely manner. They were wrong! The man on the phone actually hung up on my husband!! Horrible company.

      *** spent 3 years getting them to do a simple repair. Went months between responses after 2 years of them blaming Covid for the delay. Then it happened to be that the store I purchased my couch had become insolvent so Guardsman could only reimburse me the $299 warranty service I paid for which was in their policy due to insolvency. I deposited the cheque and a week later received a bank note that the cheque was dishonoured. I reached out again to Guardsman, they said they would issue a new cheque. Been another 2 months. I gave 1 star because I cant give 0. Terrible company! Dont purchase their product

      My experience echoes the same as the reviews posted here. Ours is an expensive cloth sofa/loveseat set (>$11,000) from BoConcept, a high end Danish furniture store. We had a caramel spill on ************. After my dealings with Guardsman were nothing but an exercise in futility, BoConcept stepped in, contacted Guardsman on my behalf, but the same treatment. BoConcept now wants to wash it's hands off, saying it is between me and Guardsman. I signed up with G only upon the advice of BoConcept. They pushed it very hard! Shame, shame. I will file a dispute with my Chase CC. Advised BoConcept not to promote Guardman sales pitch. Horrible, Horrible...

      Awful. Not worth the money. I filed a claim more than a month ago for a broken recliner and still have not heard a peep from them. I call multiple times per week and submitted everything asked of me only to continue to get the run around and no actual help. I asked to speak a manager today and was told someone would have to call me back. I am disabled and I NEED this reclining power lift chair due to multiple co-morbidities. This company should not be allowed to operate.

      I will not even waist my time on describing my experience with this scam company. Useless and completely false advertising of their products and services. There is zero interest in solving your issue. I DONT RECOMMEND this company!

      Purchased a leather sofa and matching loveseat The sofa is just fine but the loveseat had start leaning to one side and the head rest on the loveseat started to chage color contacted Guardsman ins about this was told they would send someone out they did it took a month are longer. Once they come out the person told us that it was leaning and he would let them know what his finding was and he also took picture of the headrest of course it took more time to get a response about that. So they did send another person out to replace the part but still leaning so was told it was the cushion ok so once again had to contact them about this to be told it is not covered also was told that the color change on the headrest was not covered. I also explain to them that they had given us the worng cleaning for the leather so its their fault that the headrest was changing colors they will not take responsibility for nothing at all. Have not had this furniture but 2 yrs at the most the insurance is for 5 yrs so disappointed with this company. This company is very unprofessional my husband had called the company was talking to a person there about the problem and the person hung up on him.Whats the point of having and paying for this insurance if nothing is covered feel like i was rip off by them i would tell anyone do not deal with Guardsman ins.So now we have to keep this furniture we are not happy with just so sad. They should be ashamed of themselves people do not have money to waste do better by people and stop ripping people off .

      I purchased a ******************** 10 year plan along with 2 sofas. The plan tells you what stains it includes, but fails to list what it will not. My one sofa has smoke marks from the wood stove and spots from the grandsons. I filed a claim submitting all the information they required and they sent me a packet to cleaner to do it myself! I refiled the claim with all documentation and received an email that I did not send the receipt for the cleaning service, the sofa purchase or the name of the store. HELLO, first picture I submitted, twice. I called the store and they were not willing to help saying Guardsman only covers spills and bodily fluids. The salesperson said they covered all dirt, so she lied. I contacted the credit card company I used for this purchase and filed a dispute. Hopefully I will get my money back(purchase made in 2018). These people deserve a negative rating.

      Terrible service!! Filed a claim for a barstool that I ordered and the vinyl was peeling. Never heard back from them for over a month. Called and was told that the claim was denied. Never received any communication and the gal was unable to explain why it was denied.

      Absolutely hands down worst experience...1st NFM doesn't tell you they only fix the part one time. So if you purchase a five year warranty on a $2000 sectional and within 2.5 years you have had to replace the electronic parts for 2 of the 3 recliners you are s*** out of luck when it goes out again! Been waiting 6 MONTHS and taken 3 days off of work and got another call today the technician blew out his knee (no blame on him but you gotta be kidding me) so ill need to wait another week for a call and a week on top of that to get another guy in here...plus another day of lost wages! NEVER EVER WILL I BUY RECLINER IR COUCH FROM NFM OR PURCHASE GUARDSMAN WARRANTY...Costco will be getting my business
