      Like all the other reviews I have read about this company, they truly shouldnt be in business anymore. It has been one week since a technician came out to my home to create an estimate on my entertainment armoire and still no report released by the company so I can hire the technician to do the job. Why? Because the supervisor is out ill that signs off on the estimates. Can you believe that? There is no one else that can step in to review the estimates when a boss is ill? What kind of large national chain runs a business like this? So, dont even consider them. Find a local professional who cares about his customers because he has to make a living.

      I would give no stars if possible. Worst insurance scam ever. They put you through the longest process ever of submitting a claim and then deny it. I'm pretty sure they deny every claim that comes through their system.

      Extremely frustrated and disappointed with this company. My husband and I bought a couch with a chase last year and purchased the Guardsman warranty since it covers pet damage. A few months later, our dog chewed the corner of the chase. We immediately submitted a claim. Guardsman came out and took a look at the damage and said we needed a new chase. The employee submitted his recommendations and told us it could be up to 6-8 weeks until we get the new chase since they are having staffing issues due to covid. Fast forward 6 months, After multiple emails and phone calls we still hadn't gotten anywhere. I took it upon myself to go to the store where we bought the chase from. I found out that they were going out of business and the store was closing in 4 weeks. I sent an email to guardsman informing them of this. I finally get a response 6 weeks later stating that since the store was closed and they were not informed of this, they cannot get the chase for me. I was furious since I informed them of this and it has taken them 1 year now to get this for me. I questioned them further stating that the store I bought the chase from said I can get it from another manufacturer. I requested them to reimburse me for the chase since they were going to pay for a new one anyways and I can go out and buy this on my own. They sent me the warranty guidelines and highlighted the part that says they do not do that since they only cover it for the store I purchased the chase at and they can only reimburse me for the amount I paid for the warranty. So to summarize, After submitting a claim a year ago, guardsman failed to respond in a timely manner to get us a new chase due to staffing issues. The store where we unfortunately bought the chase from went out of business. They refused to reimburse us the amount for the chase or get it from another manufacturer. I am now stuck with either buying a new chase or paying someone a lot of money to fix it. DO NOT RECOMMEND, WASTE OF MONEY

      If I could give a 0, I would.. stay away from these people. How do you collect $500+ for a warranty and then jump every hoop possible to NOT hold your end of the bargain?! I have gone back and forth with these people for a small repair and finally decided that my time was not worth fighting with them mistake made.. but will never use them again

      Just like the other reviews, they do not honor their warranty contracts. Filed my claim and it was denied because I missed the 5 day claim period by 3 days. This three days was spent trying to get hold of the company for assistance in completing claim form which seems to focus solely on stains. I have a mechanical problem. Once I got someone at Guardsman to help me, I submitted the claim. Now they tell me it's too late. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTY, and if it's the only company offered, shop somewhere else. SCAM Followup...I called the customer service number this AM and waited 10 minutes for call to be answered. When I questioned the denial the representative hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!

      Bought a recliner from a local company, purchased the extended warranty (5years), called to have my chair repaired the first time after only 6 months of having it, took over 6 months to get the parts in, now my chair is faulty again, called to have it repaired, only to be told my order hasnt even been processed yet, called back and tried to speak to a supervisor, only to be hung up on, these customer service representatives do not speak very good English, they breath so heavy into the phone you cant understand them at all, they have the worst service ever! Will never purchase a warranty through them again, so many people have left reviews on them and yet they still have a good rating!? Hmm, something isnt quite right here! DO BETTER!

      Dont waste your money!!!! Extremely disappointed with this process dont know why they even offer a phone number because after taking your information they just direct you to the web site to fill out many forms regarding your furniture, let me tell you with a sectional its ridiculous. My warranty came with one free cleaning and Im having to jump through hoops. I havent any so called stains they request for photos. I will end up doing it myself. I purchased my warranty for sectional, chair and rug from *******, It makes me even mad at ******* for including this as a plus.

      Guardsman furniture warranty purcheased from Nebraska Furniture Mart is a scam. I have turned in 2 claims for 2 different Recliners and they denied the first one because they said I waited to long. The second claim has just been ignored. They won't call back or respond to my claim. DON'T BUY GUARDSMAN FURNITURE WARRANTY FROM NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART.

      This coverage is a rip off. No one should ever waste their money on coverage. They create technicalities that make it almost impossible to comply with the terms of their contract. I filed a claim on line on 9/13/22 for $75 (amount not paid under La-Z=Boy warranty). They then took 15 days to respond. They requested me to submit a copy of the sales receipt showing I purchased the plan. They told me in their 9/28 email I had 30 days from the day I reported the claim. i got the information and mailed it on 10/6 (less than 30 days from 9/13). Now I received an email saying my claim was not reported timely. I beg to differ. I did exactly what they asked within the time specified even though they used 15 days of the 30. They delay looking at your claim knowing you might not respond in time then they send out an email that tells you nothing. They obviously have prepared responses denying claims as being late even when they contributed to the reason it may be late. I doubt mine was late as it should have gotten from ********* to ******** in less than a week. Can't believe they can get away with this and someone hasn't thought about a class action to make it worth pursuing by an attorney. (They get a 0 out of 5 from me. How can they get an A+ from BBB? Makes me lose some confidence in them also.)

      This is the second time I have tried and file a claim with this company. Both times they have denied it for one reason or another. My kitten peed on my couch it says in contract urine is covered. But since it didn't leave a stain just an oder they won't cover it. I would like to know since when urine doesn't smell
