      The absolute worst company I ever dealt with in my life! I sent in a claim the first time around and they denied it saying it was past 30 days! They then asked me to fill one out online which I did and They denied it again. I immediately called them to dispute this because now Im frustrated, the rep told me I had to write a letter to the executive review board. I questioned it as I to why do I need to can I just speak with them? The rep stated theyre not available by phone, I wrote the letter. A month ago didnt get a response until I called them, the rep actually had the nerve to say my letter in response went out this morning. And its still being denied!! The most UNPROFESSIONAL company ever!

      They get a 1 only because I can give them a ZERO and still provide a comment. I see some people on here giving them a five and talking about a tech coming out to look at the problem. I'd love to have a tech come look at the problem...****, I'd give them a 3 just for doing that. However, I submitted a group of photos and they based their decision on the photos and the fact that we used improper cleaning methods. Funny, since we cleaned it exactly to the manufacturer specs, AND within the guidelines of the Guardsman Warranty. This company needs to be put out of business!!

      I think that this added protection plan is a scam. Poor customer service seems to be the standard operating procedure.

      They are a terrible company, they find any reason to not complete their end of the deal. I paid for a plan and they prolong the situation because they want you to mail receipts when the rest of the world is digital and more convenient but when it's finally getting there they than tell you because it didn't get there in a timely manner than they are not completing their service you already paid hundreds of dollars for. Never again will I use them.

      This company is the worst. We bought a sofa and it wont recline down now. They said the timeframe passed and its not covered. Its a 5 year warranty! I am beyond ****** off. Do not buy the warranty. Its a scam. They dont care they just want the money. Its not about the customer.

      Purchased Gold plan for furniture in 2021, find out a family member is allergic to the chemical that was used. After sending in required form and pictures we received a email that our claim was denied, Contacted Guardsman rep by phone with number provided in email. Rep said it wasn't covered because they don't know what the furniture company used, contacted furniture store and they informed us the product they used was from Guardsman and he would contact his sells rep.Guardsman will lie and say anything to keep from honoring the policy.

      I paid for a 5 year protection plan and they have refused to fix the problem not only do they keep you on hold for an hour and disconnect you they have failed to repair the furniture correctly so it doesnt break again. TERRIBLE SERVICE

      I purchased a 5-year furniture protection program for outdoor patio furniture. In the beginning, I thought the company was amazing. They were responsive, efficient and ************** every stain to the point you would have thought I just bought new furniture! They have drastically gone down hill. They now use every excuse in the book to get out of the job- they never received the claim (even though it is online), they never received the pictures (even though it is online posting), the stains can't be cleaned for whatever reason... For this last request, they took several months to respond and they ending up coming to my house twice. The first time the technician came he said only received one claim so he would only clean one out of the eight pillows. The second time the technician came, he said he couldn't clean them and left. For the amount of time they spent denying the claim, they could have cleaned it and been on their way!

      This negative review is actually for the BBB for giving this company an A+ rating after all the complaints that appear on this website regarding Guardsman. . My husband and I recently bought 2 couches and an ottoman , and are waiting for delivery. We had the option of purchasing a 5 year protection plan from Guardsman. Before purchasing this $500 policy to cover all the pieces I looked on the BBB website to check out their rating. (I had already seen some negative reviews on other websites). To my complete disappointment I saw your A+ rating followed by all the terrible stories made by disgruntled customers. Needless to say we are not purchasing the policy. But how are we to trust the BBB ratings again given this situation?

      They supposedly cover damage, but when you submit claim everything is excluded. Terrible. Do not purchase!!!
