*********************************************** filed to have my wages garnished in April. As soon as I was notified of this I called and paid my debt in full on 5/2/2023. As of 5/10/2023 I had not received a release of garnishment at my employer or home. I called *********************************************** and spoke with the csr that took my payment originally, he advised he put in for the release but it had not been processed for some reason, he would email for it to be expedited and a copy faxed as my employer was processing payroll. I have checked our online court document filings since and they have yet to file a release of garnishment, it is now end of business 5/11/2023 and still has not been filed according to the online court documents.Business Response

Hello, on April 24th, 2023 I was given a court document from ******************************************** P.C. about an unresolved debt for $699.67 from **************** N.A. ******** account with the debt was created in June of 2020. The case number from the court document is 231970GX(1). The is*** with this is that I had no knowledge of the *************** account nor was it mine. I had previously contacted *************** when I found out about this and I was told by one of their customer representatives that the account was created in ************** and billed to **************. I have never lived in ************** nor do I know anyone that lives there. Due to the circumstances I initiated a dispute on Experian regarding this report and I was then sent an Identity Theft Affidavit form to fill out. I have since filled that form out and faxed it back to ************************** who took on the debt, this is also who Stenger and Stenger was hired by to attempt to *** me for the amount owed. Attached is the completed notarized Identity Theft Affidavit. It is important to also note as you can see in the affidavit that I lost my wallet in December of ************************************************************************************************************** **************. I would advise that ******************************************* drop their civil suit against me and instead pur*** the individual that used my identity to create the *************** account. I dont know the identity of the individual but I did receive their address from the bank, so I did fill out that address in the affidavit as you can see.Business Response

Im trying to close on my home. A title searched showed a lien on my property that I have no idea who these people are. It is recorded in Gwinnett County Magistrate ***** in ************* ** per Case Number 19-M-34869 on 12/28/2022. The judgement was in favor of LVNV funding at **************. I called and they transferred me to ******* and Stenger ********** located at **************************************************** at ************. I spoke to *********************** on 4/24/2023. She was very rude and confrontational. After explaining I was not this person. She insisted that I must provide the last four digits of my social security number otherwise she couldnt give me any information. Under coersion I provided the last four digits of my social security number and the only information she provided was an email address. She did not need any part of my social security number to provide an email address. To tell me I need to send an email to have it removed is crazy. They should have removed it automatically since its the wrong personBusiness Response

On April 4, 2023, I called *********************************************** because I had agreed with them in January 2022 to pay $150/month until I reached my settlement amount of $2,400.00. When I called today to verify that I've met my duty to pay off the debt, I was told that I still owed about $1,250.00 because I didn't pay in April 2022, and that my settlement was nullified. I told the representative that yes, I had made my payment; however, their system canceled my payment. When I discovered this was the case around May 2022, I called *********************************************** immediately to address the canceled payment. There was no reason for my payment to have been canceled as I used a debit card to make my payment, and it would have declined my transaction if I didn't have enough funds or the transaction or I would've had a general decline response. I was told at the time that there was a cease and desist order on my account, and I was asked if I wanted it removed because the company technically couldn't talk to me because of this being on the account. I stated at that time I wanted the order removed; however, I discovered today it was still present on my account, and my request for removal from about May 2022 was not honored. After the interactions from today, I firmly believe that *********************************************** will purposefully mislead individuals into agreements to pay off debts for lesser amounts; however, they will fraudulently find any way not to honor their contract. This is evidenced by no one contacting me about my payment cancellation due tol this supposed cease and desist order on my account. Furthermore, I believe they knowingly and fraudulently canceled my payment without my knowledge, so they could collect the total amount, which I will not do as I adhered to my portion of the agreement. I even have proof of payment from April 19, 2022, with a confirmation number of the payment being made. If the demand of honoring my agreement is not upheld, I will contact my lawyer and I will *** for damages.Business Response
