I signed up for a combination of Legacy and Bliss treatments back in August and was given a complimentary package of laser lipo. The legacy package was for 2 areas while the Bliss only covered 1 area. I financed the entire package for $6,000. After receiving 8 or 9 of the total 12 treatments, I stopped going in as the process was painful and I didnt see any results. I was told that the results of the first treatment wouldnt be noticeable until about 6 weeks after, and was encouraged to keep coming in and following their advice for water consumption and exercise (which was a basic routine that Ive already established, i.e. drinking plenty of water and exercising regularly). I called back in December asking for a refund of the remaining treatments and was told that the locations director would call me back to discuss it. I called again a few weeks later after the holiday rush and was told by a manager that a refund isnt possible since Ive already had more than half of the treatments and that my remaining balance could be allocated towards another treatment package. I asked to speak with the director and was told again that shed call me back. To this day, I never received a call back. I was never asked to come in to review the results and find a better solution and I after reading other reviews, I feel that this is something this business does regularly. I find it absurd to pay any amount of money for a treatment that does not work, but I find it even more absurd that instead of a refund, Id be forced to spend more money with this company. Ive even seen reviews where others have received a refund for the same exact reasons that *** stated and have financed less. I also want to note that the techs were supportive in assuring me about the process, but throughout the process I was told to stick with it and my concerns about not seeing results were dismissed. Now that I ask for a refund, it seems that their only solution is for me to spend more.Business Response

I've been calling cuz I've been trying to get in contact with them and I finally reach one of person and they saying that they don't have a manager or nothing and they saying that we cannot come to an agreement as far as me not seeing any results of me spending all this money for services rendered so I said can we since I didn't see any results can we just let it go now they told me no that I still have to come and finish and do things where I wasn't seeing any results and I've already had 10 treatments then ain't telling me that I canceled when they called and they canceled because they were up over they was over understand so they can't schedule my appointment so they was giving me extra treatments and stuff and now that I told them that I don't want to do it and I want to go ahead and cancel it they said that they can't do and I said that we can just squash the money that I've already paid and just leave it at that they said they can't get in touch with the finance department and that I still have to pay themBusiness Response

I went to lightrx in May to get a consultation for laser lipo. The woman I spoke to was very positive about the results I could have including showing me many photos of other people who have had the procedure done. She even told me in I agreed and signed a contract to finance a package today then I would get a certain percentage off and that they hardly do discounts. She never told me any of the issues I may have with the procedure or that the procedure is extremely painful, they even advertise it is a painless and easy procedure. I chose a package that included two different laser lipo things. I came in for my first visit and right before the procedure is when they finally told me it could be painful and that it also could leave nodules if I dont drink enough water, also advised me I need to wear a waist trainer and exercise daily to get the best results. I began the procedure and it was one of the most painful things I have ever done in my life. I immediately developed nodules after the procedure that felt like hard rocks inside my stomach. I called a few days after asking them if I could just pay for the procedure I had and then get refunded for the rest because it was nothing like I thought it would be and I could not go through that pain again. I called back in June the first time and they told me Id get a call from someone. I had yet to receive a call after a few weeks so I called again and was told the same thing, I waited another 4-5 MONTHS and still no call so I called again and was told they would send out an email and that I should receive a call. I have yet to hear from anyone at all that could tell me when I could get a refund. The worst part is they had me finance it with payments of around $300 a month, I no longer have the money to make those payments and it has destroyed my credit. I had the finance company notate that Im waiting for a refund but they do not care so Im at a loss and still waiting to dig myself out of this hole.Business Response

I received 14 of the 28 treatments, with my last treatment performed on December 1, 2021, and to-date I have paid $2,443.54 for those treatments. After two months, and 14 treatments, I saw no results, despite following all recommendations of your staff regarding diet and exercise between treatments. After my last treatment on December 1, 2021, I called Light RX in ********** several times to let the know I was not satisfied with the treatments as they produced no results, and their response was that they would give me additional treatments for free. I let them know that the treatment did not work for me, and I just wanted to pay for what I had received up to that point. At that time I also called Universal Account Servicing and informed them of the situation and was told to work out a new agreement with Light RX in **********. I also visited Light RX in ********** several times to talk to them about the situation, but no one could help me. Fast forward to September 21, 2022, I called Universal Account Servicing and spoke with Mrs. **** and informed her of my situation, having stopped treatment the end of 2021 and calling and visiting the Light RX in ********** to discuss my situation. Mrs. **** and gave me a Case # ********* and said someone would call me back to discuss. The following week Mrs. ******** from Light RX in ********** called to tell me that the only thing they could do for me is to give me more treatments for free. This will not solve the issue when the treatments do not work for me. While I hoped that the 14 treatments would produce results, they did not work for me. I am requesting a full refund of the money already spent on these treatments ($2,443.54), as well as requesting to be fully relieved of my contract obligation of any further payments to be made.Business Response

I originally went to LightRX in **********, ** to receive lipo treatment with a Groupon coupon of 75% off. The staff was kind, but told me the treatment would cost over $8,000 WITH the 75% off. So I told the employee that theres no way I could afford that. She told me she really wanted to help so would give me 11 treatments that would help remove the fat in my abdomen. It would cost $3,500 so I was approved for a loan for that much. I went there for a treatment every Friday for 11 weeks. I asked every technician that did a treatment WHEN I would start to see results. The answer was at least 6 weeks from the beginning treatment. So I continued to wait to see results. Nothing. No results, at all. Pictures showed nothing changed whatsoever. Abdomen size still the same. So, now Im stuck paying back a loan for $3,500 for spending my time and money on 11 TREATMENTS that never even worked. ($229.00/month, which is way more than I expected).Business Response

I have low pain tolerance and can not complete the rest of the treatment. I've seen no results in regards to the services rendered by this establishment. I purchased two services at this location. When I completed the laser hair removal on my face, there were little to no visible results. I spoke with the manager and told her I did not want to move forward with my second treatment (Laser hair removal on legs). I obtained a credit line with this company and the manager stated I had to move forward with the service. She stated:1. That the treatments differ for people with dark skin so I just have to wait and see the results. 2. If I forgo treatment, I would be charged for each treatment a la cart (this would add nearly $4K to my bill)3. Finally, I am being billed through a 3rd party so she could not ***** a refund.I waited 6 weeks (October 4, 2022) to reluctantly schedule my next treatment and upon completing the laser hair removal on my legs, the attendant asked me to sign a no photo consent form. When I asked her why I needed to sign the document she said because I did not take "before" pictures. She zoomed into the signature portion and I asked her to zoom out so I could read what I was signing. The form stated that I would not request a refund. I refused to sign.Business Response

Once the Laser Hair Removal package has been started it is non-refundable. I am being forced to complete a treatment plan that does not work. I asked to part ways and was told I have to complete the service or be charged additional fees. Asking for a prorated refund for services I no longer want is not unreasonable. I am going to file a formal complaint with Light Rx corporate office. It is clear that the company does provide refunds based on the document the sales clerk tried to sneak and ask me to sign. It is clear this manger does not want to honor the refund and for some reason is taking my request as a personal attack on her instead of looking at my dissatisfaction with the laser treatment in a professional manner.

I ************************* on September 2019 I purchased a full body hair removal for me and my husband, I pay $5500 and the staff checked us and we were good for hair removal, we been going regularly every 4-6 weeks how they tell as and after 10 sessions was no results I still have 90% of hair also my husband, the manager after a bad review give as 4-5 more sessions I had go total 13 very painful sessions with only 20% of hair reduction same as my husband. The manager said that Im not a responder also my husband I find online more costumes with some problem. At the moment Im going to a different laser and after first session I see a big result so I am a responder, I have pictures to prove and I feel very frustrated with the pain I have for over 1.5 years my skin is very dry as result . I started going to LightRx to receive treatments on my abdomen area. I felt that the lady selling the treatments was very pushy and didnt allow you to ask questions. On 4/27/22 I financed $3225 with their 3rd party credit services. I then began treatments that were excruciatingly painful and I felt it was causing me more pain and problems than anything. I noticed zero difference and have not finished all treatments because of the pain it caused. Ive still had to keep making payments on treatments that I never received. I would like to be refunded for my remaining treatments at least because I saw absolutely zero differences after receiving treatments. It is not right to be paying for something I didnt receive. I have never had any procedures done before. I don't smoke and I don't use a straw. The lines on my face around my mouth, and my turkey ****** have bothered me for a while now. When My mom passed away I used some of the money she left me at Light RX. I treated myself and thought I would see results. I contacted the then Manager *************************** and went on for a consolation. ******** assure me this was the closest thing to a face lift and my turkey ****** would be tighter without surgery. I was sold, I am sure you can pull up my file and see what all I had done and how much money I spent. This has been going on for a year. My mom would be so mad I spent my inheritance the way I did and have nothing to show for it.I had at least 3 Micro needling, *********************, Soft Wave, Aero ***** Venus ******* Chemical ***** Venus ******** I bought the S.O.S kit to use after each treatment.The girls working there, ***** & ****** could not have been any kinder or sweeter. They did their best to do what they could to help me get results. It just didn't happen. You can see I didn't get the results that were promised by *************************** or the results you show on all the posters through out the building or the video reel that plays in the lobby. They took photos of my face from beginning to end. I am sure you can see them in your system. I'd like for you to look at my photos and the amount of money I spent and see what you can do to get me the results that I paid for. I would like some results or my money refunded.
