      I purchased a chair in October of 2023. The person helping me did an excellent job helping me find the right chair, but then she suggested I finance the chair instead of paying for it outright. When I hesitated she pointed out that I would receive a $300 discount if I financed. This part is on me--I did not ask enough questions. I went ahead and did it. It was only later when I learned that the cost of the chair would be put on a new credit card, which I was not told about and did not want, with an interest rate of *****%. I called the number listed and cancelled the card. I asked how much I owed and was told I would be send something "in the next few days" with that information. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting.

      We Purchased a chair on 8-12, and it was delivered on 8-18-23. The chair did not come in a sealed carton, and had a tag connector on it indicating it had previously been in a showroom with a price tag on it. The bigger complaint is the chair itself. It does not perform the same as the chair we tested in the showroom. They sent a "technician" to us who said "the problem is in the manufacturing, I can't fix it. He then filed a report saying "the chair is ok, and I tightened the wingnuts" PURE BULL!!. I complained further and "Kevin from the Corp. Office" called, listened, and said he would "get right back" to us. That was a week ago. Chelsea, the "Store Mgr." in Manchester, CT will not return calls. AVOID THIS STORE!! YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH YOU PURCHASE!!

      I have bought two lift chairs.
      The chairs were cracking when operating.
      We were told the chairs need parts, one chair is discontinued and the other chair was not woth fixing. Now we were told to go back to the store and pick out new chairs, the little chair was only available in a floor model the other chair was one too.
      After dilivery they started cracking on operation again and one was leaning.
      The leaning one was told to us that it is a the way the chair is.
      Soe lazy boy is ordering parts for that chair and the other one has broken wood in the arm rest and the foam is bad.
      We asked for our money back to go to a different company and they refused. This has been a 10 month issue. I am sorry but this is unacceptable business practice lazy boy will not get any business from us in the future.

      Scam artists. Taking months to figure out something that's going on. Not getting clear answers. They want Forty percent of the money that I paid for the original couch to fix the couch. And my couch is only eighteen months old.

      WATCH OUT!! I grew up in a 73 yr old family furniture business and worked 9 yrs as a manufactures furniture representative for some of the largest furn. manufacturers in the industry. In my life I've always had the backing of manufacturer's corporate till now! Never have I purchase such garbage furniture in my life. My $6,700 worth of furn (leather power reclining loveseat fell apart at the footrest and 1 of my power reclining chairs won't recline) I was passed around to service companies and even though I filed my claim in the first year, my store (franchise store) will not fix my issue without a $75 inspection fee and $175/hr labor repair fee. Too much to explain, but this is sooooo wrong and the store won't back me.
      Elk Grove is not a corporate store and as a franchise store is not backed by Lay-z-boy Corporation. I called Laz-y-boy corporate in Monroe, MI but that was useless. Issues have to be addressed with the local franchise.
      Wish I had read all the reviews on Yelp, on line or BBB before I purchased. NEVER WOULD HAVE PURCHASED, ESPECIALLY FROM A FRANCHISE store.
      NOTE: BBB grading doesn't take into account any reviews. LA-Z-BOY BBB customer reviews are a 1.13 out of 5 stars. What does that tell you. THERE ARE MANY OTHER PLACES TO BUY FURNITURE!!

      Consider this a formal complaint.
      I was told the armoire would be here in December. When I called the first time, they changed it to January. I called a few more times. There was no customer service about the delay. I had given up on the armoire. By May, I didn't think it was coming anymore, so I officially called to cancel. Shortly after, I received a delivery message. I called to explain the error to which I was told the sale would not be canceled. This piece was 6 months late. Half a year late. I didn't expect a store of your caliber to do this type of business. I am befuddled that I am going through this. You said that they received the armoire in April. Almost a full month before I called. I was not called. If I was 6 months late, I would have been calling the day it came with sincere apologies to convey that this is not how Lazyboy conducts business. I am disappointed, and when people ask about my experience I will be honest about it.

      I purchased a recliner received it wednesday july 12. damaged I went there showed a picture of the hole salesperson went to the called someone, I would get a phone call didn't receive any phone call called everyday salesperson was very rude and said that I threatened him and I didn't and said to me if i returned it there 30% restocking they never told me that.

      I ordered my furniture on 12/28/22. It finally arrive the first of March 2023. I had the lazy boy designer come to my home to find the colors/furniture that I was looking for.
      I loved all of my purchases except the 4 sofa cushions were the wrong color. They did not match at all. I returned them to the Lazy boy store in Spanish Fort, AL. I spoke with the interior design specialist and she agreed. We ordered a rust tone and the pillows were a cranberry color. She was supposed to find a replacement. I waited weeks and did not hear from them. I went to the store and spoke with the designer again. I could tell she had not worked on them. She quickly tried to find me a replacement. I picked out a pattern and she was going to notify my salesman to order the replacement. I contacted them again a couple of months later and was told that I should have them in a couple of weeks. It is now July 14, 2023. No word. No pillows. I thought the designer was very nice but the customer service is horrible!!

      After spending 50k and waiting a year they felivered damaged sofa. I tgought things happend they replace it after 8 month with another damaged sofa and than the decided ti no longer do anything about it. I have 7k sofa that looks likw bought from grage sale

      The customer Service at the Novi Michigan Store is Awful, they don't care, the make mistakes and its as if Oh Well, My Sofa is being delivered to the wrong address today and they state it's nothing they can do about it! I discovered this after receiving a text late last night. No call to confirm is the address on file is still valid. No, I have to sit and wait for the incompetent individuals to contact me for a reschedule to the correct address. As is I have nothing to do but sit around and wait on deliveries that they dropped the ball on. a one Star from me!
