      To Whom it May Concern: I would like to share my positive experiences with AUTO OWNER’s Insurance Co, specifically, agent Mr Dylan J , Claims Representative, and Mr. Phillip S, AutoPhyscial Damage Apparsier, Unfortunately, I was involved in a MVA. And more unfortunately, my newer TESLA was deemed a total loss. Insurance claims and the mechanism by which they are processed of course are unknown, scary, and daunting for any claimant. Tales and myths of insurance companies’ customer service policies many times regale with negative and financial ruin for owners or worse lengthy protracted system Issues that never resolve without legal suits and the like. From the beginning , Mr. J was available to allay my fears, describe the process, regardless of the number of times I contacted him . He remained committed, patient and clear. Furthermore, the claim’s documentation was straightforward, easy to complete, and efficient. Therefore, not needing redundant copious notes and or reports. Having Mr. J clearly represents AUTO OWNER’s quality, exemplary customer service policies; especially their motto of :it’s not special treatment, if you treat everyone special” . In addition, Mr. Phillip S, Auto Owner’s appraiser, he too defined what customer service is and means to the company; to be a business that is recognized for its award winning service among many many companies touting similar claims that fall short of Auto Owner’s policies and products. He worked tirelessly with the collision center’s agent, retuning multiple times to assure the estimate was accurate and would meet my expectations of making my car “whole” ; drivable and safe. It is without reservation, that I fully recommend AUTO OWNER’s , their agents, Mr. Dylan J and Mr. Phillip S for any insurance needs and as a company with integrity, accountability, and passion for treating everyone special.

      As stated multiple times in these reviews. This company will fight you on paying out the claims. Typical insurance company. Had $15,000 plus dollars worth of tools and equipment stolen from a garage break in. Months later after repeated attempts at communicating with them, which they do rather poorly. I'm told they will not cover my claim. This company is joke. DON'T WASTE YOU'RE MONEY HERE.

      If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Weve been going back and forth with this company for FOUR months. My husband had auto and home insurance through them. We found a cheaper insurance for both of our vehicles and have been with that insurance since. We have called, sent email after email, called again, left voicemails, and getting the answers of it will be canceled. It is canceled youll receive your refund shortly. For FOUR months. Today, I was gifted a bill, not a check, for this insurance. The insurance that we sent our information to, that stated our refund was coming, wanting $2000+ for a policy that was clearly NEVER canceled. You can never speak directly someone. Your emails never get answered, and after my husband giving the company CONSENT for me to speak on his behalf, they denied me today, and also said our billing address was wrong. Hopefully, legal action can be taken if they dont want to fix this mess. The worst insurance Ive ever dealt with.

      Deceptive practices. Incompetent adjusters. We experienced a complete loss due to a fire. After 2 years. We are still trying to fight on getting reimbursed for contents. The scam artist restoration company that auto owners insurance recommended for us to use has been paid top rate for shoddy workmanship yet our family is being badgered when submitting receipts for replacement contents! We've spent a lot of our own time doing inventory and requesting payments. We the homeowners that have been paying our premiums on time for two decades are the ones that get the short end of the stick.

      They LOVE taking your money but when it comes to them paying .. nope not today!!! They wont pay!!! So stay away from auto owners insurance ***

      I have been with auto owners for a while now. This past yr was hard financially and I kept getting cancellation notices but never had my insurance canceled cause I always found away to pay before it canceled. During Christmas my son got life flighted to primary children’s and I once again was not able to pay fully the amount owed. First time ever my insurance actually canceled, which I paid two days later in full to reinstate. But come to find out they would not take us back because of to many previous pending cancellation notices ( 5 in over probably a 5 yr commitment with them) . Sometimes we have hard times but for a company I have my home and auto through for over 5 yrs to drop us cause these past months have been financially hard is very upsetting and I hope they don’t treat other committed clients like that when times get rough!

      Deceptive practices are their specialty! My mother had an electrical fire in her house which was extensive and not livable and not only did they want to fix a structurally unsafe house but they are depreciating contents after giving her thrift store prices and she has an endorsement for Replacement Cost on Contents. Fire happened in September 2022 and they are dragging this out so long that now a crazy sick arsonist who set fire to two other vacant buildings also set fire to her house and completely burnt it down. Now there are 2 open claims and they want to continue their argument that it can be fixed and that all her contents should be depreciated. This is a poor excuse for an insurance company and needs to be sued for their practices. For shame!!!

      As a young person of 24 trying to make her way in this world whos already beat the odds and trying to get ahead. All this insurance company cares about is their bottom line not the customer theyre working for. I was in an accident. I was pulling of the the gas station and a lady seemed like she was trying to pull in, so I went to pull out to give her room and she kept going and hit me. Another driver stopped and told me she was driving like a maniac way down the road. The cop still wrote me a ticket for fail to yield. Even though this lady hit me she charged her deductible to my insurance. Without hesitation auto owners paid it even though I did not claim my own vehicle in the accident. If Id had known Id of paid for it out of my own pocket. Since now they could charge me over $200 a month because of it with an otherwise clean record. I soon switched to State Farm. They were going to charge me 1/2 that premium, but when I explained the accident situation it will stay on my insurance record for a few years since they filed a claim against me. Im still under price with them regards to the auto owners insurance premium. Ive switched the 4th of January and have had other insurance insured on the 4th of January this year. Auto owners still charged me for coverage for January 1-5. All they care about is their own money and not the peoples lives they affect. I would have loved to pay that person their $500 deductible instead of an additional $70 a month premium. Pleasure not doing business with you anymore. I now pay $360 less a year and also have better coverage including death coverage for my beneficiary.

      My car was hit in a hail storm and Auto-Owners paid even though we did not notice the damage right away. They were very generous with the coverage.

      By far, The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with!!! Don't buy insurance from them! They DO NO pay their claims!! And it was ONLY ***** DOLLARS! They WON'T call you back! I've spoke to many agents in which only 1 was pleasant. They won't even say "you're welcome" when you say "Thank You". Rudest bunch of people ever!! I own 3 houses and I've never dealt with people like this! YOU GUYS HAVE HAD ALL THE PAPERWORK YOU'VE NEEDED SO QUIT MAKING UP THINGS EVERY TIME I CALL!! LIKE A DEED TO THE HOUSE! WHAT??? THAT'S PUBLIC RECORDS. YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR "YOUR" INSUREDS MISTAKE!! JUST PITIFUL... I WOULD GIVE YOU NO STARS IF I COULD!! Your insured hit the corner of my house with his dump truck, and he admitted it on the police report so pay the claim!!
