      Horrible communication. Rachel D does not respond to emails or phone calls. She also denied a read end accident with complete misinformation and clearly did not read my statement about what happened. Totally unprofessional.

      Auto owners is not a company I would recommend unless you're just wanting to pay your premium and never turn in an insurance claim. I've had all 3 vehicles, heavy equipment and home insurance with Auto Owner's for 5 years and never had any sort of claim. Throughout this span I've got a 2009 Harley ******** show bike. Policy premium for 50k. So of course there was an upcharge for each 6 month premium. **** was totaled in July and they are refusing to pay on the 50k policy and refusing to fix the vehicle. After 4 months of waiting they have sent my belongings back to me that were all ruined due to water damage. They requested all receipts for upgrades only. That alone was 50k not including the bike itself. The first offer was 12k to settle, second offer was 28k, third offer was 32k. Never a late payment Never had a claim.

      Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent claims experience. We have worked to properly evaluate the motorcycle, and include all covered features. As outlined in the policy, the coverage is for the current value of the motorcycle. This policy does not automatically pay a certain amount. The $50k referenced in the review is a policy limit. We will be reaching out to discuss this further with our insured, and are open to reviewing any additional materials with regard to the vehicles value.

      After a car/deer accident, our insurance company refused to fix our pickup, deemed it a total loss, had us clean it out next day. They then emailed us 2 days later and attempted to give us less than 5k for the vehicle that would have atleast an 9k trade in value. Now we have been going back and forth waiting for them to pay on the settlement that we agreed to and have currently heard nothing since 12/27. We are completely disgusted with how this is being handled and will be seeking other auto insurance.

      We
      regretted to see negative feedback on this claim. An initial offer was made,
      after which we worked with our insured to gather additional information. We
      were then able to make an offer that was acceptable to Ms. *******. Once
      the offer was made, we were required to obtain information from her loan
      company. Upon receipt of necessary documentation, the claim was promptly paid.

      On 12/15/23 a road raging Auto Owner Insured driver hit my car (Dashcam). He got a ticket and they took him to jail. 9am 12/18/23 i contacted Auto Owner Insurance. Claims agent called me back 9:37am 12/18/23 and left a message. 9:30am 12/19/23 i returned her phone call the following morning only to get a voicemail. i left a message stating i work nights and told her the best time to call me, i also left my email address and told her she could left a text message if need be. 9:57am 12/19/23 she called back, but by then I've been sleeping for and hour. i want to be awake and focus on my report. 9am 12/20/23 i called back....No answer so i left message. 9:30am 12/22/23 i called again..... No answer, so i left a message. 9:30 12/27/23 i called again.... No answer...

      Auto Owners Insurance cancelled my insurance after rejecting my payment twice on two separate occasions. I had to pay additional fees to get the matter straightened out. This is fraud.

      My wife was rear-ended by their insured and we opened a claim at auto owners. we could never get their adjuster to respond for 2 months. finally we got hold of him and he said it's denied. no explanation, not nice, not helpful.

      I had a recent claim with this company as a third party. My original adjuster ***** stopped communicating with me days into the process. Supervisor ***** also stopped communicating with me after escalating my claim, hung up on me at one point during our conversation, and told me multiple things that were blatantly not true. (Different information on different days)Communication is horrible.Staff is rude.The only professional person I talked to was ******************* who was not able to help me because the estimate was subject to approval only by ************* estimate was declined and the final estimate was adjusted even more by ***** because these crooks negotiated a labor rate. I was told that my original estimate (a difference of $1000) would make Auto Owners go out of business and they were still worried about negotiating the labor rates by $17!!!I asked for original parts to be put on my car. I was not at fault for this accident and this company accepted full liability.I was told that only 1% of claims are approved for OEM parts. I would like to know who is the 1%? I am highly dissatisfied with my experience and am now forced to accept repairs without having my car repaired to its ORIGINAL STATE!Beware!!!!Be prepared to loose if you have to deal with this company!!!!!

      Waiting 2 months to get my **** car fixed due to their insured falling asleep and almost killing two people. This company will make you jump through hoop after hoop, making you do there job for them, and still telling you "they need more detailed quotes". This insurance company should be out of buisness with their practices.

      Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr. ***** concerns. We attempted to work with the shop chosen by Mr. Morgan, but had difficulty getting necessary information. We then assigned an appraiser to keep the claim moving, and have issued payment at this time.

      We have been with Auto-Owners for 17 years now and filed a claim on our home policy due to damage from the Halloween snow storm. You never know for sure how good of policy you have until you file a claim. Odds of seeing year 18 doesnt look good.
