      Very little customer service regarding my claim. Nothing in writing in 32 days. Only get voicemail when contacting adjuster. My Agent told me just waiting for check to be cut 10 days ago. Still waiting. Would not recommend to anyone.

      One of there insurers hit my parked car driving crazy waving bye to her dog her it is 3 weeks after my claim and after my claim being approved and still have not been compensate for damages i cant even drive my car how is this even possible I've been lied to ignored smh

      They did not follow up on my claim in a timely manner. The claims agent/adjuster ***** was rude and condescending. I would text and call and and on several occasions my calls/texts would get no response. At one point when I did speak with her, she hung up on me. Its been about three and claim payment was just initiated today. I also discovered today when I finally took my car in for repairs, Keyln had cancelled my previously approved car rental 43 minutes prior to my arrival at the repair shop. I was even told that the repair shop could disassemble my trunk and bumper but then put it back together once they did a sub-estimate.,give me my car to drive until the replacement bumper came in to their shop. The rational for not approving rental as stated by ***** and I guess her supervisor (*******) because my car is still drivable and why should Auto Owners pay for a rental before the bumper was delivered. My question;: Is Auto Owners willing to pay the repair shop labor cost to take off and put back on a bumper to save money on car rental? By the way, I am not a policy holding with Auto Owners. The accident and fault was that of their client.

      My car was wrecked a little over 3 weeks ago. In the end, we were fairly compensated for our 2011 Toyota Corolla. The first offer was way low, but I countered (with onlne photos and prices) and the agent agreed to pay a fair price for the car (totaled). It took over 3 weeks to actually receive electronic payment for the car. For some people, this would be extremely stressful as rental prices are very high these days. The entire process was slow. Yes, we saved money on our yearly insurance fees but this is at a cost of good service. Initially, it took several days to get in touch by phone with our adjuster. Then we did get a rental but this was only for about 5 days or so. Several more days for someone to look at the car. Then to agree on a fair price. As it turns out, we did alright with Auto-Owners but it was stressful.

      Have used auto owners for years, up until the last few years they have been fair. Recently got my renewal for my homeowners insurance and it went up $600. I contacted them and they said it was because of the claim I had in 2019 for a fire? I never had a claim for a fire. The people who lived here at my address did, in 2019, but I didn't buy the property until 2022? I lived in Kentucky in 2019! Just to let them know, instead of renewing with them for the 18th year, I cancelled all my policies I had with them and went with a different company. NOTE: Before you use Auto Owners do your homework. They don't care about their customers. All they want is your money.

      I got into an accident that I was found to be not at fault for. I thought working with my own insurance company to get the best possibly payout for my totaled vehicle would be the best option, was I ever wrong. I was given a ridiculously low pay out amount at 3 pm and was expected to settle and have the rental car back by 5 pm that same day. When I asked for longer the agent stated that isnt our policy. After asking for more money to get a comparable car to the one that was totaled it was 10 days of back and forth with them for the agent to tell me well you need to go through the other claimants insurance we can no longer help you. I cannot believe I have been with this insurance company for over 4 years, never made a pre payment, and never filed a claim and this is how they treat their customers.

      I had an accident on June 2nd that totaled my car. Auto owners insurance got everything settled in just 2 weeks! I feel like they gave me a great price for my car. The whole process was basically awesome! Chelsea Horne and Jack Walsh were really helpful and so nice ?? I could have used some extra rental car days. I didn’t have much time to find another car.

We try to reasonably work with customers on loss of use needs and feel we did so in this circumstance. We will be reaching out to discuss the 9 day rental period from a Monday to the following Tuesday, to see if there were circumstances where additional days were reasonable.

      I've had Auto Owners for about three years on my vehicle. My granddaughter whom lives in the same household with her mother and I, just turned 16. I thought that I would refer her and my daughter to Auto Owners for their own car insurance. They both have their own vehicle. My daughter and granddaughter ended up going with another company. Auto Owners raised my insurance $50.00 a month because they assume that my granddaughter would at some point drive my car because we live in the same home. I sent them a copy of her insurance card. It didn't matter. They still wanted to charge me $50.00 a month more. Who are they to assume... Needless to say...I CANCELLED

      Auto-Owners withdrew two payments from my account to pay an annual premium. They were contacted immediately as I requested a refund of the duplicated payment. Six weeks, and six telephone calls have been made - each call includes at least twenty minutes on hold waiting for someone to pick up the call and another fifteen minutes on hold while they look up my account. When I finally reached someone, there were no apologies for the error, and I was told there was no way to tell how long the refund process would take. I called my local agent to see if he would help me, but he said there wasn't anything he could do. I'm so tired of lousy customer service everywhere I turn.

      I've been a customer for nearly seven years. I have my cars and my home insured with Auto-Owners. Once I had a tree fall during a storm. I called Auto-owners and they asked it the tree had fallen in my house. I explained no but it was at risk for falling completely on my house and the limbs of the tree were already against the house. They told me they would do nothing unless the tree had fallen on my house..ridiculous. with my cars....my wife and I have perfect driving records and our rates continue to climb with no explanation. When I complain they will drop the rate slightly and tell me they have added me to their safe driving account???? What??? I need to complain to get what I deserve. No thank you. I'm gone.
