      Renewed OnStar yesterday. We are traveling from ******* to **************. We pressed our OnStar button to get driving directions at 4 am. The recorded message said we were being transferred but then just kept beeping with no answer. We tried this for about 10 minutes. Then tried calling and no answer. We tried texting and the text said sorry you are having this problem and suggested we try the OnStar button again and or try to call? Seriously! If I wasnt so made I would laugh. So its now almost 8:30 am. Than goodness for our phone providing us directions because OnStar is useless! They should be fined for taking peoples money and providing zero service.

      I got the service when I boutg my car from the dealership. Its a service I never used and tried to cancel after the free trial service. I used the call button in the car and got a rep on the line . I asked him to cancel service and he said he had done that., Now 8 months later they are still billing me $39.99 a month. I finally got it cancelled(I hope) after 20 minutes on the phone with Onstar.

      Truck was stolen and I contacted ONstar to disable the vehicle but they would not do it. I guess they thought I was lying to them even though I gave them all information. So I paid for years for a service that acts like it is there to protect you and your vehicle. But when actually needed does nothing to help. They don't even track the vehicle for you to help find it. Waste of money!

      On November 28, 2023 I received an email for a black Friday deal, get 5 months free of the essentials package plus a free ***** egift card. On December 1, 2023 I called the their customer service number to inquire when and how the e-gift card worked and when i would receive the egift card. The advisor i was on the phone with canceled the plan i personally did online without asking me or telling me what she was doing. I received an email right after she did that while i was still on the phone with her and i asked her why she did that, she stated i did the wrong package, I assured her i did not, I sent a screenshot of the confirmation email I received after i purchase the package and than took another screenshot of the email i received after she did it, they both said the same exact wording except the dates were obviously different so she prolonged me getting the ***** egift card. I have since than called back more than 10 times trying to figure this egift card out. They continue to tell me they have escalated this issue to their supervisor or give it 24-48hrs or 3-5 business days and i should receive it, The last supervisor that was taking care of this issue told me if i did not receive a egift card in my email with the link in 3-5 business days to call back and she would provide me with the link. I call back and continue to get the same run around with 24-48hrs, 3-5 business days etc...It's so frustrating to call a business when no one has any knowledge of anything so their responses are always the same with no resolution. They always say they will follow up with me on this day or that day and they never do. I normally call back myself and they still have no resolution to the issue. I have never had such poor customer service from a company that has so much business for something that is installed in all of our new vehicles but no knowledge of their own product they advertise.

      Tried to cancel their service and called their *****- onstar phone line which is outsourced to *****. Couldn't understand the person on the line and they would not cancel my service. Would not confirm that they were with Onstar and that on the 'recorded line' would not confirm that they would cancel my service. . . Kept asking for my credit card information which they had on file and had just charged my account three days before I called. Then, after I confirmed my credit card information on file - they asked for a different credit card and said that their system wasn't taking that card number?? Why do they need a credit card number to CANCEL? Seemed like a scammer so I hung up and went to my ***** Corvette and pushed the Onstar button. A nice lady from ******* answered and in minutes cancelled my service, refunded the recent charge and set up for a free 3 months next summer. Onstar needs to fix their 888- onstar service! Quit outsourcing jobs!

      I had canceled my service 2 yrs ago and found out that they were charging me $33 for that time and when I asked for a refund they told me no bc they are like life insurance they are there in major incidents. Turns out that's a lie! I had a MAJOR ACCIDENT with all air bags deployed and no Onstar services were deployed at all. So I'd like to thank onstar for taking hundreds of dollars and not doing a thing

      Crooks! The worst customer service ever! First off the ladies I spoke too were constantly interrupting me and talking over me. When buying my truck I was told a "Free Trial" of OnStar would be available, I didn't think anything of it. My concern is how did they get my debit info??? I didn't give them my debit info. I have never received emails, no calls or anything regarding billing invoices or receipts. I don't even use OnStar! I have been charged ************ I called customer service to see why, and they said that I didn't have a service agreement and that they had no control over what the "system" does when it comes to charging. They said that I needed to show proof of the debit transactions. They said send copies to the provided email: onstarlossprevention.com. When I called back to inform them the email provided was returned as a non working email, and asked further details on how I would get my money back, They said that I couldn't have a refund. This is THEFT and this company should be held responsible for breaking the law, and or fraud. They don't deserve any stars.

      My onstar features weren't working for two months and they couldn't figure it out so I canceled. They wouldn't even give me a refund for the time it didn't work. Offered me $9.00... terrible company.

      Terrible can't be trusted. Called in and canceled service for previous vehicle. Then canceled before the trial ended on my new vehicle. They are dishonest they never cancel your account they keep your card info on file and continue to attempt to charge you. This time they charge me I called them andi ts a hassle they claimed they cancelled emy amount and will refund my money but that hasn't happened. You literally have to file a dispute with your bank to get your money back. I WILL NEVER RECCOMMEND THEM.

      Absolute crooks!!!! They add a "Free Trial" to your car purchase only to STEAL your money by literally using the direct deposit information from your car loan to pull money directly from your account with NO NOTICE, no emails, no calls and no invoices. I never used your service even one time in any way. This is absolute theft and this company shouldn't be in business. You owe me over $500!
