      Well I hate to do this but it needs to be heard I went to General RV of Mount Clemens on 8/9/23 to look for a nice used camper, I told the sales person im going to finance got everything situated put $500 down on the camper to hold it so it couldnt be sold during the process of the financing, on 8/15/23 I called to find out the status of everything, I then was told the camper was sold on 8/14/23 and was never told that the camper sold on 8/14/23 till I called on 8/15/23 i wont recommend them to anyone stay away this is bad business put money down to hold it so it cant be sold during the finance process and they turn around and sell it a week later

      We are sorry to hear about this customer's experience with our store. In review of the customer's file, I show the coach wasn't sold from underneath the customer. I see we were unable to obtain financing for this coach based on the customers credit profile and compensating factors. Our team would be more than happy to assist the customer in trying to finding a coach that we can obtain approval for.

      Purchased a new 5th wheel trailer from General RV in *************, **., the end of June 2023. It was delivered with several deficiencies and some damaged components from having not been secured during transport, as should have been done. The deficiencies; interior trim not properly secured, shower head not working properly, exterior compartment door latches not securing properly, to name a few, are all things that should have been inspected, detected and repaired before delivery. I was advised someone from store management would be in contact with me. This never happened. I emailed General RV headquarters and received no reply. General RV has done nothing to acknowledge that there are issues and that they bear some responsibility. I am having to do everything myself to get things taken care of.

      Buyer beware!!!!Bought our 2017 rv here in 2021 for $21,000.We purchased their best warranty. So first problem is there was a leak inside behind shower so inside the walls are covered with black and green mold and floor is rotted out. Of course not covered by warranty and they wont do anything.Next all happened over course of 3 days Ac went out and then the hot water heater almost went on fire. So I fix these myself because none of the rv dealerships around except their insurance. So now Im left with a moldy rotten rv that I dont trust to take my family around. Black mold is really harmful to breathe in.Thanks general rv for a lawn ornament.

      Honestly, I am not sure where to begin. I bought a brand new unit from them in April of 2022 to be my home. The first day I got it, it had a leak in the garage. Furthermore, we lived in it for 4-months in the Summer before we took it in for repairs to be fixed. They screwed up my appointment time twice with scheduling an service because they are separate departments. December 3rd, 2022 I finally got my unit in for service, an I was told the unit would be there for two weeks as I mentioed it was our home an we were going to ******* with it. That is when the nightmare continued on. The unit had way more issues then my wife an I were led to believe. The floor was bubbling, power stabilizer **** went out, bed slide had water damage, bathroom shower was facing the wrong way so water would pool on the floor, was told that their was mold, was told my unit shocked an employee (which is apparently not true anymore as well as the mold, the service guy made it all up) So its now January an I come to pick my unit up, an they pull it up an the window is wide open, the unit was left trashed, an the floor was still bubbling. Was dealing with the lead service advisor an when I asked about some of the issues an how they were fixed an she was unsure. SO she insisted on me waiting to talk to my advisor, well my advisor either quit an or was fired, so no one knew anything about my unit. After countless calls to keystone and General RV I have been working with the service manager for the past 3 months trying to make this unit right. It is now July 12, *********************************************************************** December of 2022 an its now July 12 2023. I have tried picking the unit up 7 times from General RV an every time something is wrong with the unit. They are claiming that I am out of warranty even though they had my unit for the last 5-months of its manufacturer. I have pictures of the terrible repairs I have received. Their is not enough letters left to say it all.

Even though the customer is out of warranty, we have covered the repair costs without passing anything onto the customer. We hope to have these items repaired and coach back to the customer soon.

      Have had my camper for almost a month. Bought it brand new. The inside door wont close. The front door wont close. The stabilizer bars wont come down. The table has a big scratch in it. The couch bracket paint is all chipped off. The unit leaked ruining a **** dollar drone I have to use for work. I have called every day since the day I bought it and have got no where. Cant get any questions answered or even get call backs. I would not recommend this company at all not to my worst enemy

      We recently (about a month ago) bought an ** from general ** and we are not happy with our purchase. We were told that the valence was broken in the ** and would be replaced, so we drove it off the lot and we have not heard from them and we have called them and nothing has been done we also found out there was a broken shelf in the refrigerator and so we have gotten no response from them after calling numerous times. We really like our ** but the service doesn't care about the customer, just buy it and go away is how you feel they look at customers. I would never tell anyone to buy from them, plus they seem to rush just to get a sale. Really sad they care so little and I've read plenty of complaints after we bought our **.

      I went to this dealership in ***** area and wanted to look at and get a quote on a camper. I was shown the camper, liked it and asked that salesperson give me a quote with their best price. He worked up a quote that included $5,500 in surprise dealer fees and included a $5,000 down payment that brought the price down to higher than the advertised price on their website. It was very deceptive the way it was written too so that an elderly person could potentially be deceived. Then they said my manager just told me that unit is sold but let me show you the identical unit right next to it, just make sure you look and see there aren't holes in the walls or anything and we can do this contract on it. It was trashed, upholstery stained, filthy, dinged up walls... truly the old switcheroo. I said that I needed to speak with my husband and he's in meetings rest of today but I will call you later or tomorrow and I left. We bought a camper elsewhere and would never use this company.

      Update: I did receive a call from the sales manager to ask about all of this. He felt that the fees were not a surprise or hidden as he could see them in sharpie on the written quote so I explained the issue is with showing me the camper based on the advertised sale price that is within my budget, then showing me the quote which is no longer within my budget. I explained that that feels deceptive to me. He also told me that had I purchased the camper with all the damage they would have repaired or replaced any issues before delivery of the camper. In fairness I am including this update to show they were concerned and reached out.

      Horrible service!!!!! Multiple people NOT happy with this place!!!!! Not much better in ********. I WOULD NOT bring ANYTHING here EVER again!!!!! They charge an arm and a leg for service that they should NOT charge you for!!!! You NEVER hear back from them. They DO NOT keep their word and they DO NOT handle their appointments at all!!!!! Im f I can help it, I will NEVER go here again!!!! I am EXTREMELY irritated at this moment place!!!!

Our service advisor stated he went through the customers work order with them line by line to explain each charge to the *****. He also submitted what we could to the extended service contract with Cornerstone for coverage.

      When the same GE AC unit fails the same way 3 times in a row, each within warranty causing the customer to have the 2.5 year old RV (purchased new) in the shop for 4 months total and missing out on a camping trip, you'd think the managers would give you a call or email back. Our service rep had been understanding, but seems either embarrassed or aggravated as he will only respond to us in short emails at this point. I'd think there would be some sort of a communication system between service department and managers once an RV has been in the shop for more than a month to expedite the process.
      So far, after multiple phone calls and emails, General RV has done nothing to "make this right" for us and compensate for our lost driving time, gas costs and loss of use dealing with the substandard GE part. Pretty sad when our one defender has ended up being someone from GE (yes, that took some work getting the right person, too) who is communicating with General RV - somehow she is able to get people to answer the phone when she calls.
      My family is suggesting that we call the local news channel to let them know how poorly this is going.
