      The U.S. Bank had a promotion program in August of 2023, new customers can earn up to $500 by opening a new checking account, and $200 by opening a new savings account. I opened new checking and savings accounts with US Bank in August 2023, and successfully set up my direct deposit in that month. I met all the deposit requirements for the bonus cash, but did not receive anything from the bank. After contacting the bank for several times (in person and phone call), I was told a wrong promotion code was entered when I opened the account, and the bank could not find the August promotion code. Therefore, US Bank could not correct its own mistake, and they cannot honor the promotion. As a customer, I do not care which code the bank used, I just wanted to make sure they do honor the promotion they had in August, that is, give out the cash bonus they advertised when new accounts are opened, and all the requirements are met.

      I opened a checking account on 7/8/2023 to receive the promoted $300 checking account bonus. I completed all necessary direct deposits within the first 90 days. I am now past the 60th day following the 90 day introductory period. My escalation number is #*****. I have spent countless hours on the phone, have called around *****x and still no checking bonus. The escalation ticket was assigned and no one returned my call within the specified time.

      I received a $75 gift card as a gift last year and recently found it, activated it online and then have tried to use it twice and it was denied. The card does state that the funds don't expire. I have called the number on the back of the card 3 different times and the customer service people tell me that I have to send a copy of the front and back of both my ID and the gift card. That's annoying, but I try to do it anyway and their website won't accepts the info and allow me to log in. The last time I called, I spoke with a woman who asked me to verify one of the transactions I had tried to purchase and she said she would unblock the card for me so I could use it. Then, she placed me on hold and came back saying that I had to resubmit the documentation. I'm beyond frustrated.

      Corrupt. This company lied repeatedly. I closed my secured credit card account on 12/5 at 10am and was told a check for the deposit amount would be sent within **** days. Received a letter on 12/11 stating "We will review your account on 12/19 and apply your security deposit to the remaining balance." In order to expedite the process, I paid everything on the card off and made sure it cleared before closing the account, and ********************* this to the representative. Now this company wishes to continue to hold my money hostage. The customer service representative, *****, continued to assure me that I was lied to on 12/5, but there was nothing anyone could do until 12/19. So was I lied to or did US Bank decide to change their policies at the last minute..again?I am owed $500 this week. It is December. Come on.ZERO integrity in this company, nothing but lies and deceit. How are they still operating? All I read are nightmare stories about this business.

      I have a small savings account with US Bank that they have locked me out of. There is approximately $2500 in the account and I cannot access it. I just want them to cut me a check for the balance, they can close the account. I am tired of the funds being held and just want a resolution to the funds. Please have them issue a check to my address for the remaining funds in the account.

      During the last few days of Oct. 2023, my checking account needed to be closed due to illegal activity from a scam artist. I told my bank that I had written 5 checks and wanted to make sure they honored those checks before closing the account. My bank, which is ********************************* said they would make sure those checks would go through. One of the checks which was made out to U.S. Bank for $634.70 was not recognized by U.S. Bank., but my account was reduced by $634.70. When I talked to U.S. Bank representatives they state that they never received the funds. My bank says the money was sent to U.S. Bank. Representatives from my ***** ******************************** has faxed documentation from my checking account showing the money leaving my account.

      A $100 **** gift card was purchased for a birthday present and according to the customer service agent and manager the card was used on 10/24/2022. This card was just purchased in October 2023 for a birthday present. The company wants a government issued id faxed to them to clear the fraud. Once cleared they will send a replacement card but take the cost of the replacement card to be sent off the gift card balance. Total scam all the way around. Dont trust them to protect my information on the ** that they want faxed over.

      They want me to wait 15 days for a response from them when bbb only allows 10 days to give a response which means waiting for them and not tree will automatically send an agreement. This just adds more to the scam they are trying to pull.

      12l06l23 used (in network) *** at a US Bank location. To withdraw funds from child support deposit in my Relicard account. After selecting the amount of the withdraw the *** began cycling, making noises a system issue message popped on screen with a message that my account will not be charged. The machine then rebooted. No cash, no receipt nothing was given before the crash. I immediately called the phone number on the back of my card while in front of the ***. I was told by ******* that she could see the reversal and that I needed to wait anywhere from 1 hr to *************************** my account. Funds had not be placed in my account 24 hrs later. I called again 12/07/23. Rep assured me she could see the reversal but was advised by her supervisor that I needed to open a dispute because they did not know why the funds werent placed back into the account. I was told the dispute could take up to 45 days. A provisional credit would be given in 10 days. Again this is child support that US Bank is holding.

      US Bank purchased my bank ************ in mid 2023. In the transition US Bank claimed I owed them $.15 on an existing HELOC I had opened in 2020 with *********** There was no such charge, I owed no money. I never borrowed on the ****** I had over 500K in cash in their bank. It was important for me to establish that US Bank had made a mistake. I had to know I could trust this bank not to make mistakes like this in the future. US Bank would not respond to repeated attempts to get their mistake removed and the charge eliminated. After 60 days they reported this $.15 charge - their mistake - to credit unions. I had a perfect credit record - a score over 830. My credit went scores went down to 719. It impacts my ability to run my business. I want US Bank to expunge that report to credit agencies and repair my credit. US Bank claims that I owed this $.15 to ********** for over two years. That ********** charge was a mistake, it had been expunged. I asked US Bank to produce any notice from ********** that was more recent than two years old. They could not (would not) because the charge had been removed. On a personal level: The personnel at US Bank were rude and dismissive. The process of trying to get any competent person to respond to this situation was impossible. After working with two different bank officers I spent ten minutes with the branch manager and she flat out refused to pick up the phone and take any action to explore the mistake they had made. Beyond just frustrating, they ruined over thirty years of my focused effort to create and maintain a solid credit profile.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      I see US Bank wants 15 days to respond.  If I accept this response, then you'll close this case. So I guess I have to reject their response.

      Please make sure of the following:

      The response from US Bank must include notices from ********** sent to ***************************** that a fee of  $.15 was owed.  I say "notices" because one notice was issued by ********** 2020.  At that time, I pointed out to ********** that this was not correct - no money was owed because they waived the origination fee therefore there was no interest due on the cost of the origination fee (the $.15)  -  ********** apologized for their oversight and canceled the incorrect charge of $.15. 

      I received no further notices from ********** over the ensuing two (plus) years BECAUSE I DIDN'T OWE THEM ANY MONEY. 

      I never borrowed on the HELOC.  I maintained personal and business balances that commonly exceeded $500,000.00 and I have no debt. 

      When US Bank took over **********, somehow this $.15 incorrect and expunged debt came showed up on US Bank's books.   I repeatedly called US Bank; I went into US bank on several occasions - they flat out refused to explore the issue even though I explained - over and over - exactly what happened. 

      They reported me to credit agencies while I was disputing this false charge.    

       Keep in mind I was a customer with a half million dollars in their bank - had zero debt - and the disputed charge was $.15. 

      They ruined my nearly perfect credit score.
