My HUD worker posted my funds to US bank reliacard and they are holding my funds. That is illegal. Can someone advocate for me? I've called ************ and I was told that this number ***** the cards but they have no idea whose account they are funding. Sounds very fishy and illegal. I was told my customer service from this number ************ that they have no way of seeing my account nor if any funds will be deposited. My worker told me SHE POSTED THE ***** YESTERDAY 11/30/23 AND NO ONE WILL RELEASE MY ***** AND IM sure US bank is doing this to make money off of my deposit before they release it to me. I contacted the ChexSystems dispute line that they have and the fact that I waited almost a year to receive something to say that the ChexSystems report against me is false on your part is unprofessional and unacceptable I requested something so I can make a response to get you to remove it to a different address but they did not listen at all. The check US Bank sent back to Huntington was returned to sender marked as account closed (back to US Bank) there was no wrongdoing in that at all and to lie to ChexSystems is wrong and illegal I have a right mind to file a lawsuit against the whole US Bank if it is NOT REMOVED immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!Business Response

I moved my home into a trust. In August 2023, US Bank advised several documents required which included $25 fee. US Bank even sent a letter for corrected documentation. I sent EVERYTHING REQUESTED from US Bank for them only to tell me that they were not completing any requests like this because my loan was being transferred to Chase. They knew this prior to asking for additional documents and cashing my check. I called US Bank and asked about this twice. US Bank told me the $25 would be refunded later and that never happened. This is my last request of trying to resolve this before I take legal action and *** for additional stress and inconvenience this has caused me along with US Bank acting unethical.Business Response

I have an auto loan with US Bank, I had my license plate and car registered in ********.when renewal time came, i found out that US Bank re-recorded my title in the wrong state, as a result of that I can not renew my license plate, although the *** explained to them over and over US Bank does not want to take responsibility for their error, and make it right. instead I am left with a car note $875/month and can not drive the car .Business Response

In May 2017, we set up an auto payment to come out of our bank account twice a month to pay on the loan set up with US Bank through Bass Pro. US Bank required that we pick an actual day of the month for each of the payments to pull. When this was set up, we set it up to pay additional money on the loan to pay down principal faster. So by paying 2x a month and more than what was due, the loan would pay off faster. US Bank did not apply any of the additional funds paid to the principal at all. Instead, they kept any extra paid as a prepayment that just got larger and larger. Then in May 2022, US Bank decided that they did not like the days selected for the autopay and turned off my auto payment. They show they sent a letter. I did not get it and had NO idea that my auto payment was off. Because they had applied the payments incorrectly, they then used the prepayment to pay the loan until October 2023. With no more prepayment, they finally got a hold of me on November 6th 2023. But the payment was then 30 days past due, and they hit my credit for a 30-day past due.Maybe for many people this would not be an issue, but I make sure all of our payments are set up on auto-pay, so this does not happen. This one hit dropped my credit score 100 points, down from close to 800. I understand that our payment did actually go 30 days past due, but it was bc we had no knowledge that US BANK had turned off the auto payment we had set up with them. We talked to US BANK who seemed to be very understanding and filed a dispute on our behalf to correct this, but then denied the dispute when they received it. We feel this is unethical and are asking that they remove the 30-day past due on our credit. We are not seeking any resolve on the fact that they misapplied our payments, we simply do not want our credit damaged from US Bank's decision to turn off the auto-pay we set up, where we were not aware that they had taken this action.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I would like the response to be a public response. I have been up front that my payment went 30 days past due, because I had no idea you had turned off my auto payment. I don't think it's acceptable to hide behind a statement that you will send me a letter and not actually address the issue.
The right and fair thing to do would be to take the 30 day late off my credit history. How you handle that should be answered here.

On 11/29/2023 I tried to make a purchase online with one of their pre paid cards. Soon as I tried they locked the card. So I called the number on the back like it said. Talked to someone, gave all information they needed. Followed their instructions. Told me I would need to upload my documentation. When I tried( multiple times) their website locked me out and instructed me to call that same number again. I was instructed to repeat the steps again. I made them stay on the line while I did so and was locked out of their website as before. They told me there was nothing they can do about it. At that point nothing more could be done. It was only a $50 gift card but still. They are stealing peoples money. And its actually pretty clever the way they are doing it. But they shouldnt be allowed to get away with that. So if nothing else just wanted to notify the BBB so maybe no one else gets ripped off from this genius scheme they are doing. Im guessing they make hundreds of millions of dollars a year doing this. The transaction was made in April of 2023, in the amount of $435.I have sent them letters dated July 11, 2023, August 16, 2023, September 12, 2023, October 25, 2023, with copies to ******** and "*******" in ***** ** - the cardmember payment research department. Elan Financial Services in ********* ** and ****************** in *********** **.**** assigned this matter the following case numbers - MRQ-****** and 238831.They keep telling me to have my bank trace the Money Order in the *************** System and my bank has found the cancelled Money Order and I have sent Elan Financial Services a copy.I recently received a form letter dated November 20, 2023, from the Customer Support Team of ****************** telling me "The enclosed payment is being returned to you for the reason indicated below - only the form letter was in the envelope and the reason given had the box checked for: "Unable to locate, please return the cashed check as unauthorized."I have also contacted the Office of the ********* Attorney ******* ************************* and Elan Financial Services' response to the ** Attorney ******* was as unresponsive to the ** Atty. ******* as it was to **** can send you copies of the file if you tell me where to mail it.Business Response

A few months ago I applied for a construction loan with *************************** of USBANK. During the loan process, I continued to provide all the information **** requested as he mentioned the loan was moving along. At a certain point, **** said that the loan would close next week and to tell the builder he can move forward with some pre-build costs. Trusting ****, I had my builder incur costs. Shortly thereafter, **** mentioned that the loan could not be financed. I am now stuck with a bill from the builder for a property I cannot get a loan on. I am requesting a payment to the builder for the costs USBANK advised me to pay.Business Response
