Forget this bank!! Worse mortgage people ever! Times are hard and I fell behind. I contacted them for options to get caught up. It went from a forbearance and I was told a "modification". They put me on a repayment plan and tried to charge me two times the amount when that was the original plan. I have been at this for a month. Meanwhile they are still reporting me as delinquent to the credit bureaus even though they said don't pay anything until we receive the new documents. How can I transfer my mortgage ?

This company is horrible. Constant fees and ripoffs around every corner. If I could have my mortgage with a different company I gladly would but I'm stuck with these thieves. Avoid them if at all possible. I don't know how these bloodsuckers sleep at night.

I've been banking with this location since it was charter one. My entire wallet was stolen two days ago and they said there's NOTHING they can do to help me. They won't even order me a new card or let me access my account. I brought in my social, my birth certificate, and my marriage certificate. EXTREMELY disappointed in US bank Algonquin. After writing a google review earlier this afternoon their social media team did end up reach out to me. After discussing what occurred today they let me know they are filing a complaint with US Bank corporate and are investing the incident further. As of now, there is still no resolution. I will update this review if they contact me with a follow up.

I recently requested the transfer of a Roth IRA to another financial institution. The other financial institution faxed the request to U.S. Bank as requested. I called U.S. Bank to confirm that they had received the fax. They told me that I had to wait 24 to 48 hours before they could tell me whether they had received the fax. I waited and called them back. They still couldn't tell me. Fortunately, they did send a check to my other financial institution which arrived approximately 3 weeks later. The check was $29.91 less than the balance of my CD at maturity. I called U.S. Bank to inquire about the discrepancy. The banker explained that there was interest posted, then a $30 transfer fee. I asked for paperwork, or even a screenshot, documenting this transaction for my records. The banker was unable to produce anything, nor could he provide me an email address or other way for me to register my concern. The banker said he would relay my concern to a manager. All of the bankers I spoke to were very professional and as helpful as they could be. However, their hands appeared to be tied when it came to providing what should be routine information and documentation. Again, not the fault of the bankers. It appears to be the fault of the company's way of doing business. For goodness sakes, when I use an ATM, I get a receipt. I sincerely wonder how a company that manages billions of dollars is unable to provide confirmation of the receipt of a fax or paperwork documenting a simple transfer of money.

I was attempting to assume my loan with US BANK. I attempted to get all the information I needed to increase my chances of getting approved. They requested a $90 credit check. I paid it, I still hadnt gotten any information on what I needed to do to qualify. I started the process on June 27, 2024, I frequently called them to get my questions answers. I was told I needed to speak with a Tyler/Joshua ****** **** **** *** ***** ***** *** **** **** ***** ***. I called him multiple times through the process because I needed to pay another $900. He would email me after I REQUESTED A PHONE CALL MULTIPLE TIMES. Finally in August he stated he would call me, but was leaving early that day. He NEVER CALLED. I was than denied based on the question I had. I spoke with his supervisor because he still hadnt called me even after the denial due to his neglegience. His supervisor finally called after the denial and stated I needed to pay another $1000 to reapply and there was nothing they could do. I filed a complaint with them and they stated he did everything he was supposed to DO. How does that even make sense? All I requested was a phone call for 2 months. It completely embarrassing. A joke of a bank. Couldnt even refund me so I restart the process with the supervisor Cynthia ****

I recently applied for personal and business cards. I received a notification that one was approved but didn’t state which one. Shortly after that, I received a notification that the phone number on my account had been changed to one that wasn’t listed on my application. After calling, being transferred several times, and being put on hold for quite some time, it was determined that a phone number listed on the application was added to my new account. They stated that their email was standard even though it is highly misleading and alarming for someone who has gone through fraudulent activity. Given the misleading email, there was no compassion or consideration, and the representative didn’t understand why I was calling. Given others ' reviews, I am even less thrilled to begin this relationship.

What an awful experience. I have to drive across town just to close the account. There's no online contact. Why is it so hard to literally access my money?

One of the most aggravating banks to use. Their app and website have always felt outdated and inefficient. Customer service (which I've needed frequently due to numerous issues with their online portals) are always friendly, but largely unable to help. I continue to find fewer reasons to remain banking with them.

US Bank was absolutely horrible to work with for my Jeep lease. They told me two different amounts when it came to the payoff of my Jeep within three hours difference of me asking.
Then they charged me after my lease was paid off and told me that they would be sending me a check back to me. I called back to get a number for the check and then they told me that they don’t send checks and it would be refunded to my original bank account. I told them it wasn’t as they said it would have been refunded over a week ago.
I then called my bank and they said there was no credit from them and my bank took legal action with US Bank and my local bank was able to get the money back and put a stop payment on my account so they couldn’t charge me for any unnecessary future charges.
Shame on you US bank for lying to your customer and telling them the money was refunded when it was not refunded.
I will NEVER work with US bank again for anything in the future as they could’ve handled this so much better and differently but the my didnt.

I would give US Bank a zero if possible. This has been the work customer service I have ever received. I opened my business account with the company because I have a personal account with them. After feeling out the application, they stated I was approved. They never contacted me stating they needed extra documents. And when I received numerous statements, all seemed fine. Then I received a letter saying they were closing my business account. Frustrated is an understatement. But I thought perhaps this was a sign. I called and was informed they closed my account and issued a check for the funds. I have yet to receive the money. So I called, and have been on hold, speaking with numerous agents, and was informed it was sent on October 28th. However, she didn't know where the money was? She called Cafe, but couldn't remain on hold. Now, I am on hold again. This place is a joke. They said they are open from 7am-9pm CST. I am east coast, and no one is answering the phone I just want them to return my money so I can promptly end my relationship the company.
