Worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Opened account, deposited $10,000, then had no access to the account for weeks. My login wouldn't work on my laptop or the app on the phone. I spoke every day to a representative and they refused to let me speak with a tech support. They said tech support would email me after 3 days. Tech support never contacted me. I ended up having to close the account and they mailed me a check. Amazing that a bank could have technology this bad and offer no direct tech support to their clients.

Tried to order a new debit card over a month ago which I never received. They canceled my current card despite never receiving the replacement and me contacting them two more times to say I never received it and to send a new one. Today my card was canceled and when I explained the situation they all insisted my card was fine and that theyd send a new one, agent 4 confirmed my suspicions about the issue, informed me that not one of the other three agents ordered the cards so now I cant access my accounts without a temporary card but no branch will answer their phone to let me know if they do in fact have temporary cards that I shouldnt need to use because my current card should still be functional.

This company is one of the most ridiculous banks I have ever dealt with. I opened a new account with them online and they did not give me an account number or a debit card. I didnt receive the debit card and wanted to know the status. You have to give the agent over the phone either your debit card number, account number, or Social Security number in order to get the status of your card. Why would I give some random agent my Social Security number? This is exactly why theres so much fraud because we are handing our personal and sensitive information over to some unverified employee and our information is being mishandled. Who knows if this person is writing down our socials and selling it? I just had my debit card information stolen and used in another state (I had the card with me btw; someone just had the number) We should not be verifying that information with a person. Send me a link to my phone, verify me through my email the last four of my social but to ask me for my full ssn ID- absolutely not. I cant give them my account number or card number as a new customer because I dont have it! They are so ridiculous; all they needed to say was whether my card was mailed! They try to act like they are protecting our information by not providing anything over the phone but how are you protecting my information when Im giving it to a stranger who might not even work for yall next week??? If someone is calling over the phone pretending to be me, its not gonna be about a debit card being mailed. Theyd just wait for it! Or theyd ask where its mailed to or try to change the address(none of which I was doing). Use some common sense and get better policies for the 2022. Theres way too much technology for yall to still be verifying through Social Security numbers.

This bank is HORRIBLE! BEWARE!!!!! I was a victim of fraud, I was given a fraudulent check, and without any warning, U.S. Bank closed my account, which also returned my mortgage payment back to me, causing me to get a 30 day late on my credit! U.S. Bank handled this situation completely poorly and have demonstrated that they absolutely do NOT value their customers! They ruined my credit which ruins my entire life!!! I should have received a phone call immediately, as soon as they discovered the check was fraudulent, and asked if I was aware, and asked if I wanted to keep the account open or closed, but NO, they just closed it without any notice or warning! I would absolutely NOT recommend this bank to anyone! Horrible!

I have 2 accounts and unfortunately my mortgage was sold to US Bank, tried to sign up for an account for my teen and was told it would take 10 days. The customer service guy, Charles, said "I wouldn't ever get no better treatment and I was the scariest women he'd talked to on Halloween". He l loved it when I told him how poor his customer service was. Also told me that US Bank would rather I took my business elsewhere which I will. Thanks Charles!

If I could rate a "0" I would have! Dealing with this bank has been nothing short of a PAIN. I had a $12,000 credit limit and attempted to make a purchase an continued to get BLOCKS on my purchase after speaking with the ********** which was the run around they continue to make excuses for the computer glitching or claiming to allow the transaction to go through in which case it didn't. After being embarrassed and humiliated I paid off the remaining balance and CLOSED the account. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Horrible experience we received a promotional offer to open a business checking account & deposit $3000 in the account within 30 days & keep it in the account for 60 days & make 5 transactions. The Bank card was never received. Then they finally sent a new one. It took a month to get a statement, so we didnt even know our account number. There was no local branches near ** so we couldnt deposit the money until after 30 days after we got the first statement. Numerous calls. Finally after almost 3 months of our money being in their bank they are not giving ** the $300 bonus.

Rudest Tellers in the ********* area I have ever encountered (this is why I am assuming there branches are always so empty) even though they only seem to have 1 or 2 tellers at the windows maximum. There automatic phone system for my checking account has been down for a month and NO ONE in customer service knows why or when it will be corrected. I would rather keep my cash in a pillowcase than to try and get a helpful courteous teller experience again at one of there "many" locations I have tried. I am not sure "what happened" when I first started out with them the were so good and pleasant ( which is why i enjoyed banking with them ) but that is no longer the case sadly disappointing once again so i am closing my many accounts with them.

This bank used to handle my wife's child support account. One day, she was no longer able to withdraw from it and had no idea why. She called and found out that the state of ******** no longer did business with US Bank and therefore she wouldn't be able to use the account. Naturally, she wanted to withdraw what little money the account had in it and move on but they wouldn't allow her to, saying it was in "read only." She was then informed, erroneously, by customer service that this was an issue with the state of ********. After multiple calls with the state, my wife was convinced that she was misinformed and started calling US Bank again, now angry and demanding to talk to someone hire up. It was determined that customer service reps had misled her and that if she would fax over (at our expense) documents proving her identity and marriage license as explanation of name change, she could get her money. She did as requested and get parents received a letter regarding her address change. That's not what she wanted, obviously. It has now been many months. This is absurd. I have tried helping her through this process but I'm out of ideas and we need this money to help raise her daughter. She's given up, as I work less hours I'm now trying to get her access to her money and am warning people about this bank.
