This Target is knowingly closing all 4 of their self-checkouts to force customers to go through their standard registers. On 4/23 at 12:38pm, when I asked the employee who was standing around watching the registers if there was a problem with their self-checkouts, she told me TO MY FACE, No, we just shut them down to encourage our cashiers to work. Excuse me? How does that make this someplace that ANYone wants to work at, much less shop at? I dont want to support a business that has such a low opinion of its own employees.

Went to Target to get Abreva cold sore treatment for my son. Went to a self check-out and scan the item. It scan for $4.00 more than what it listed on the shelf. This is not the first time it happen to me. Please remember the prices of all your items when shop at Target.

Target has changed in the last few years:1. If you use target com the search results are manipulated so that they hide the cheaper item from view. I have to repeat the search several times for the lowest price item to come up 2. There is a bag fee in my area: ***************. When you shop online, Target takes a $1.00 fee up front, pre-charging you for 10 bags even if you shop for one item. This is problematic because even though they "refund" one they determine you only need one or don't need one, some debit cards still hold the dollar for 3 to 7 days. Target should NOT automatically charge for a bag when the item is obviously a case of water or something like that. OR, Target should add the bag charge after shopping so they know exactly what it'll be. 3. Regarding bag fees.. I have screenshots of buying 7 small items and each of them was put in a separate bag...one banana in one bag, two yoghurts another bag, an eyeliner another bag, a small bag of clementines another bag, one kitchen towel another bag and so forth!! Shameful. I told them not to do that next time. They're banking on you getting the bags and driving away, so you end up buying the bags. I told them not to do that again. 4. Prices of daily items have gone up almost every other month. 5. I shopped there daily, but now shopping once or twice a week and have found cheaper items at my local Wegmans.

Target claims to do price comparison but when you have a price that they dont want to offer they lie and say its sold and shipped from a 3rd party so they dont have to match the price. Recently I had a deal for a ********* item that was available in the store. I contacted the chat for Target and the agent ***** indicated that he would provide me a refund after the purchase was made. This never happened so I called a few days later and ******* stated that she could not price match for the amount it was offered at because it was no longer available. Horrible customer service. Meanwhile a friend of mine called the same day as I did and ***** did it with no problem.

Target recently changed their RedCard. Was told through many of their advertisements that I did not need to do anything to continue using my card & receiving my 5% discount. It has worked fine up until this past Sat, 4/13/24 when I attempted to make an online order only to be told my card had expired & was forced to use my credit card instead which, of course, doesn't provide for the add'l 5% discount. After placing the order, I immediately attempted to reach someone by phone but was sent to an overseas call ctr after waiting online for 20 minutes. Even though the overseas rep couldn't help me, they insisted on getting all of my personal info (phone/email address) then after keeping me on the line another 15-20 minutes would transfer me to "someone who could help me". The transfer just sent me right back to the overseas call center & the process repeated itself. I tried multiple #'s but got the same response each time. I gave up & decided to wait until Mon in the hopes I'd get someone local. I tried the chat line & "David" also said he could not help me but advised me to call after 5 pm & tell the next "team" member that he had already documented my file & just to provide them with this # and I should get the discount. It didn't. Finally got a local team rep & I explained the problem all over again & waiting all over again while he researched my order. This rep also said he couldn't help because my "new card" wasn't put in Target's system (too bad). I said I would be canceling a large online order (>$1,000) & his response was "o.k." (didn't bother him at all). After wasting over 4 hours on the phone over the course of 3 days, I attempted to cancel the order but it had already shipped. So, I now get to waste several more hours taking everything back to Target over the course of the next few days since it's coming in multiple shipments. Very disappointed with Target's "new system". I will be buying from somewhere else.

Ordered based on a promotion that included receiving a $10 online gift card. Did this twice and received two $10 gift cards. I used these gift cards for online orders. Received my bill and even though I was charged $10 less for each order, I was charged $10 twice. Therefore I received NO discounts. Customer service was of no help. I do not have any gift cards in my wallet. How on earth do you give gift cards and then charge for them? Makes no sense. Will not shop at Target if this is the way they do business. Very disappointed.

Local store in Sioux City, Iowa refused to accept check as payment for a purchase of Corelle dinnerware.
I was told by a Target cashier that the store only accepts checks from some customers.
The cashier requested to scan my driver license, I complied with that request. After taking my check he states here you need to call this telephone number to approve the stores acceptance of your check. I have spent 45 to hour in the store shopping, my CGM continuous Glucose sensor is warning me that my blood sugar is low.,, I call the number in the slip and a telemarketer answers the call and requests my checking account routing number. I read the routing number and wait another 15 minutes for the telemarketer to tell me my check will not be accepted as a form of payment. I can use cash, a credit card or a Target debit card that can be linked to my checking account. Telemarketer press me to accept the debit card. I refused because of the Target data breech that affected Target customers all over the country.
I left and cancelled my purchase. No where displayed in the Target store were any signs informing your customers that you do not accept checks as a form of payment. Maybe a violation of customer rights in the state of Iowa.

It's happened so many times that I'm reporting this because I think this is a FRAUD for Target. When I order items online from Target.com, it automatically will charge a "bag fees" per store. When I pick up my item, I have to specifically ask that this bag fee to be remove because I am my own bag. However, more often than not, the staff always forgets to remove the fee" and than I'm charged for fees that I did not request!! It's fraud, it's lying and it's absolutely wrong. I've ordered many items from different stores and nobody charges bag fees. I believe this fees should be added when you are picking up your item and they asked "would you like a bag?" It SHOULD NOT be charge upfront, whether you want it or not. How many people does Target cheat off using these bag fees each day because either people don't realize this or don't check their account?? IT IS WRONG!!!
