Employee had what I was looking for on the floor as it was gonna be stocked but instead of opening it so I could purchase she took it back in the back after telling me it would be put out in a few days. That's crap if it was gonna be put out in a few days then why was it out on the floor next to her cart. Lost a loyal customer today. I'll be going to Walmart for now on. This happened in Pensacola, Fl on Bayou Boulevard.

Either your website is completely wrong as it pertains to quantity of products, or your associates on the floor aren't doing their jobs. Either way online showed in stock for multiple items only to show up and be told they weren't in stock, considering most of the associates were in clusters talking I'm guessing they weren't doing their jobs.

Target in the Empire Center in Burbank, CA allows sales of Gift Cards. The Gift Cards are supposed to be activated by the cashiers when purchased. However, in April, 2023, we purchased a $200 Gift Card and the male cashier did not activate the card. Everywhere we went, we could not use the card. WE went online to see what the problem was, and the website said the card was not activated. We took the GC back to Target to get at least an exchange. They showed us the receipt and said that it says "No returns." We then told them that the cashier didn't activate the GC and in those instances we should at least get to exchange the GC. They said not. We then had to call the GC company and go through a month long process, giving up much of our personal information just to get the case reviewed and solved. WARNING: DON'T TRUST THE CASHIERS AT TARGET.

I had a cancelled order and the charge was sent through anyway. I called to have them to reverse the charge. First they tell me its pending my account and will fall off, next person says its been processed and no refund has been started, and third person says they will need to start a dispute. The dispute department, although looking at my account and it clearly shows order was cancelled and I was charged, tells me I have to wait for my refund until they review the account further and I will be receiving a written confirmation of the dispute in the mail. I am in the process of working with my bank now because the email Target sent me for cancellation shows one amount as the total and another that they actually charged my account. So who pocketed my money??? An employee?? Target themselves?? not sure but until they finish their review which could take up to 45 days my checking account is short $103. BE LEERY OF CANCELLING AN ORDER!

I bought pots and pans and over a matter of 5 months the bottom part of the pans the coloring was coming off. You touch it on anything and it came off. On your stove top on your hands, clothing. I took them back with my receipt and because it was past Targets 90 days they said sorry contact the company that made the pans. Mgr was very Rude and acted like I was a criminal.

Two years ago I wrote a check for my purchases at the Target in Hillside Il. Took them over a month to cash the check. Even after I made several calls for help. I made the same mistake at the Melrose Park Il. Target a month ago. Thinking maybe things have changed. But I am having the same issue. They still have not cashed my check. Most Businesses cash your check in 3 to 4 days. I cannot understand the problem. Trying to call Customer service is a joke. All they do is transfer you around. What if I called my bank and had the check cancelled? What would they do then?

Unfortunately I received a Target gift card for Christmas. I hate to even have to purchase anything from them at this point. I work from home and the nearest Target isn't convenient for me to get to so I tried to place my order online. It would look as though my order went through but later it would say order canceled by Target, with no other information. Target support is extremely unhelpful. They keep telling me they can't help me and to go to the Target store to make my purchase in purchase. Because of this I will never shop here again. You really need to step up your game target. Your customer service is seriously lacking!!!

Beware of Target Plus online orders, ie, tech. Once they list the actual merchant during checkout, empty your Target cart and order direct from that merchant. Target does not service these orders and prevents cancelling orders - even within the hour. They force the shipment to occur even when on-notice of cancellation and stop-payment dispute. Target chose this policy and hogties their merchants to be unable to service the customer — a simple cancel of order. Target will offer excuses based in “process” as if it did not choose and create their processes. It is not customer focused — and their own agents agreed fully.
PS: Target is even charging much more for tech than its Target Plus merchants. All in all, I take away from this experience is that Target bets on its customers being stupid or lazy. To my mind there is no other rational incentive to not honor a cancellation of order within the hour because of internal policies - as if Target did not choose and implement those policies. Target is online shopping without care of the customer experience or of generating loyalty. I will never order tech from Target online ever again. Beware.

BEWARE OF OVERCHARGES. Every single visit I have been overcharged, meaning the cashier rings up single items multiples times. It can be $5, $10 and one time $20. That is on a $100 order. That adds up very fast! I have filed three complaints with the store and it still continues. After 6 months I gave the store one last chance and felt sick to my stomach as soon as I reviewed my receipt. AGAIN, I was overcharged. A single item was range of multiple times. At this point I can only conclude that this is an internal scam the manager is running to make their numbers look better than they are. Not once did they offer to resolve the issue even with proof. I spent thousands at this store and there hasnt been a single visit where I wasn't overcharged. This store needs to be investigated. I will no longer file complaints to the store and am now warning people. Stay away from this Target. With the economy when you are watching your dollars, you will get overcharged at this store. I hope someone from corporate investigates this store. They have cameras. Watch your cashiers. I have shopped at Target for a decade, and they have completely lost all of my business. They are scamming people with their overcharges and will do nothing about it.

Horrible customer experience with a cashier at Lake Bluff IL store checkout. Horrifically rude cashier. I reported it to the store and corporate and neither have reached out to resolve situation. I cancelled my Red card I had for 20 years. I had been a customer for decades. They clearly do not care about their customers. Shameful company.
